Abstract
The invention discloses a GPPS transparent toughening modified material and a preparation method thereof, wherein the GPPS transparent toughening modified material comprises the following components in parts by weight: the anti-oxidation coating comprises, by weight, 27-49.7 parts of GPPS, 50-70 parts of a styrene-butadiene copolymer, 0.1-1 part of a chain extender, 0.1-1 part of an antioxidant and 0.1-1 part of a diffusant. The GPPS material is compositely modified by the styrene-butadiene copolymer and the chain extender, so that the impact strength and the toughness of the GPPS material are improved, and meanwhile, the styrene-butadiene copolymer is transparent resin and cannot influence the transparency of the GPPS material.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of high polymer materials, in particular to a GPPS transparent toughening modified material and a preparation method thereof.
Background
At present, the materials applied to the LED light bar are mainly ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer) materials, but the price of the ABS materials is higher, so that the price of the LED is higher, and the LED illumination trend is limited to common people. In order to popularize LED light bars, a new material is sought to replace an ABS material to reduce the cost, GPPS is adopted as a replacement material at present, but a common GPPS (general purpose polystyrene) material has good light transmittance and transparency, but has poor strength, and is easy to crack in the production and subsequent assembly processes.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at the defects of the prior art, the invention provides a GPPS transparent toughening modified material and a preparation method thereof.
The invention discloses a GPPS transparent toughening modified material which comprises the following components in parts by weight:
GPPS: 27-49.7 parts
Styrene-butadiene copolymer: 50-70 parts of
0.1-1 part of chain extender
Antioxidant: 0.1 to 1 portion
0.1-1 part of dispersing agent.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the GPPS transparent toughening modification material comprises the following components in parts by weight:
GPPS: 33.2 to 44.4 portions of
Styrene-butadiene copolymer: 55 to 65 portions of
0.2-0.6 part of chain extender
Antioxidant: 0.2 to 0.6 portion
0.2 to 0.6 portion of diffusant.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the chain extender is the Pasteur chain extender Joncryl ADR-4400.
According to one embodiment of the invention, the antioxidant is antioxidant 1010.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the diffusing agent is queen flower diffusing agent EBS.
A preparation method of a GPPS transparent toughening modified material comprises the following steps:
(1) weighing GPPS, a styrene-butadiene copolymer, a chain extender, an antioxidant and a diffusant, and pouring into a mixer for fully mixing to obtain a mixture for later use;
(2) melting, blending, extruding and granulating the mixture by using a screw extruder.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, in the step (2), the screw extruder is a twin-screw extruder.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, in the step (2), the feeding speed of the screw extruder is 8 to 13 r/min.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, in the step (2), the main machine rotation speed of the screw extruder is 380 to 420 r/min.
According to an embodiment of the invention, in the step (2), the temperature of the first zone of the screw extruder is 160-.
The beneficial effect of this application lies in: the GPPS material is compositely modified by the styrene-butadiene copolymer and the chain extender, so that the impact strength and the toughness of the GPPS material are improved, and meanwhile, the styrene-butadiene copolymer is transparent resin and cannot influence the transparency of the GPPS material.

In the following description, numerous implementation details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present invention. It should be understood, however, that these implementation details are not to be interpreted as limiting the invention. That is, in some embodiments of the invention, such implementation details are not necessary.
The GPPS transparent toughening modification material in the embodiment comprises the following components in parts by weight: the anti-oxidation coating comprises, by weight, 27-49.7 parts of GPPS, 50-70 parts of a styrene-butadiene copolymer, 0.1-1 part of a chain extender, 0.1-1 part of an antioxidant and 0.1-1 part of a diffusant. Further, the GPPS transparent toughening modification material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 33.2-44.4 parts of GPPS, 55-65 parts of styrene-butadiene copolymer, 0.2-0.6 part of chain extender, 0.2-0.6 part of antioxidant and 0.2-0.6 part of diffusant.
Preferably, the chain extender is a Basf chain extender Joncryl ADR-4400, the antioxidant is an antioxidant 1010, and the diffusant is a Huawang diffusant EBS.
A preparation method of a GPPS transparent toughening modified material comprises the following steps:
(1) weighing GPPS, a styrene-butadiene copolymer, a chain extender, an antioxidant and a diffusant, and pouring into a mixer for fully mixing to obtain a mixture for later use;
(2) melting, blending, extruding and granulating the mixture by using a screw extruder.
Preferably, in the step (2), the screw extruder is a double-screw extruder, the rotation speed of the feeding device of the screw extruder is 8-13 r/min, the rotation speed of the host is 380-420 r/min, the temperature of the first zone of the screw extruder is 180-.
The GPPS material is compositely modified by the styrene-butadiene copolymer and the chain extender, so that the impact strength and the toughness of the GPPS material are improved, and meanwhile, the styrene-butadiene copolymer is transparent resin and cannot influence the transparency of the GPPS material.
The present invention will be described in more detail below by showing a plurality of examples. .
Example 1
Weighing 27 parts of GPPS, 70 parts of styrene-butadiene copolymer, 1 part of chain extender, 1 part of antioxidant and 1 part of diffusant, pouring the mixture into a mixer, and fully mixing to obtain a mixture, melting, blending, extruding and granulating the mixture by using a double-screw extruder, wherein the rotating speed of a feeding machine of the double-screw extruder is 11r/min, the rotating speed of a main machine is 400r/min, the temperature of a first zone of the double-screw extruder is 160 ℃, the temperature of a second zone is 180 ℃, the temperature of a third zone is 200 ℃, the temperature of a fourth zone is 200 ℃, the temperature of a fifth zone is 200 ℃, the temperature of a sixth zone is 200 ℃, the temperature of a seventh zone is 210 ℃, the temperature of an eighth zone is 210 ℃ and the temperature of a machine head is 200 ℃.
The GPPS transparent toughening modification material obtained in example 1 is extruded to prepare a sheet A1.
Example 2
33.2 parts of GPPS, 65 parts of a styrene-butadiene copolymer, 0.6 part of a chain extender, 0.6 part of an antioxidant and 0.6 part of a dispersing agent were weighed and poured into a blender to be sufficiently mixed, and the other conditions were the same as in example 1.
The GPPS transparent toughening modification material obtained in example 2 is extruded to prepare a sheet A2.
Example 3
36.5 parts of GPPS, 62 parts of a styrene-butadiene copolymer, 0.5 part of a chain extender, 0.5 part of an antioxidant and 0.5 part of a dispersing agent were weighed and poured into a blender to be sufficiently mixed, and the other conditions were the same as in example 1.
The GPPS transparent toughening modification material obtained in example 3 is extruded to prepare a sheet A3.
Example 4
39 parts of GPPS, 60 parts of a styrene-butadiene copolymer, 0.3 part of a chain extender, 0.3 part of an antioxidant and 0.4 part of a dispersing agent were weighed and poured into a blender to be sufficiently mixed, and the other conditions were the same as in example 1.
The GPPS transparent toughening modification material obtained in example 4 is extruded to prepare a sheet A4.
Example 5
44.4 parts of GPPS, 55 parts of styrene-butadiene copolymer, 0.2 part of chain extender, 0.2 part of antioxidant and 0.2 part of dispersing agent are weighed and poured into a mixer to be fully mixed, and other conditions are the same as example 1.
The GPPS transparent toughening modification material obtained in example 5 is extruded to prepare a sheet A5.
Example 6
49.7 parts of GPPS, 50 parts of styrene-butadiene copolymer, 0.1 part of chain extender, 0.1 part of antioxidant and 0.1 part of dispersing agent are weighed and poured into a mixer to be fully mixed, and other conditions are the same as in example 1.
The GPPS transparent toughening modification material obtained in example 6 is extruded to prepare a sheet A6.
Comparative example 1
The GPPS raw material is extruded to prepare a sheet D1.
The sheets A1-A6 and D1 were tested for their impact strength, elongation at break, light transmittance and haze, and the results are shown in the following tables:
the experimental results in the table show that compared with the common GPPS sheet D1, the sheet A1-A6 prepared from the GPPS transparent toughening modified material has obviously improved cantilever beam notch impact strength and elongation at break, that is, the strength and toughness of the modified GPPS transparent toughening modified material are obviously improved. Compared with the common GPPS sheet D1, the sheet A1-A6 prepared from the GPPS transparent toughening modification material has the advantages of light transmittance reduction and haze increase, but the change range is not large, namely the transparency of the modified GPPS transparent toughening modification material is not changed greatly, and the use of the modified GPPS transparent toughening modification material on an LED light bar is not influenced.
To sum up: the GPPS transparent toughening modification material adopts a GPPS material which is compositely modified by a styrene-butadiene copolymer and a chain extender, so that the impact strength and the toughness of the GPPS material are improved, and meanwhile, the styrene-butadiene copolymer is transparent resin, so that the transparency of the GPPS material cannot be influenced.

GPPS: 27-49.7 parts
Styrene-butadiene copolymer: 50-70 parts of
0.1-1 part of chain extender
Antioxidant: 0.1 to 1 portion
0.1-1 part of dispersing agent.

6. The preparation method of the GPPS transparent toughening modifying material according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized by comprising the following steps:
(1) weighing GPPS, a styrene-butadiene copolymer, a chain extender, an antioxidant and a diffusant, and pouring into a mixer for fully mixing to obtain a mixture for later use;
(2) melting, blending, extruding and granulating the mixture by using a screw extruder.
7. The preparation method of the GPPS transparent toughening and modifying material of claim 6, wherein in the step (2), the screw extruder is a twin-screw extruder.
8. The preparation method of the GPPS transparent toughening and modifying material of claim 6, wherein in the step (2), the rotating speed of a feeder of the screw extruder is 8-13 r/min.
9. The preparation method of the GPPS transparent toughening and modifying material of claim 6, wherein in the step (2), the main machine rotating speed of the screw extruder is 380 to 420 r/min.
10. The method as claimed in claim 6, wherein in the step (2), the temperature of the first zone of the screw extruder is 160-.
