Description

Network switching method and terminal
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of wireless communications technologies, and in particular, to a network switching method and a terminal.
Background
At present, many intelligent terminals support access to a mobile network and a wireless local area network, the intelligent terminals can be mobile devices such as mobile phones or tablet computers, the mobile network can be a 2G network, a 3G network or a long term evolution (Long Term Evolution, LTE) network, the wireless local area network can comprise a WiFi network, a user can select one network for use, or the intelligent terminals can automatically select one network for use according to surrounding network conditions. For example, the 3G mode and the WiFi mode of the intelligent terminal are simultaneously in an on state, and when the user carries the intelligent terminal to enter a hotspot area which has been accessed from outside the coverage area of the wireless local area network, the intelligent terminal will automatically switch to the WiFi network. However, when the WiFi network cannot or prohibits the intelligent terminal from accessing to the internet, the intelligent terminal still remains in a state of accessing to the WiFi network, and does not automatically switch to the 3G network, which makes it impossible for the intelligent terminal to update service data in real time.
In addition, in the prior art, when the intelligent terminal is switched from the 3G network to the wireless local area network, the intelligent terminal automatically disconnects the 3G network once the wireless local area network is accessed no matter whether the wireless local area network can access the internet, however, after the 3G network is disconnected, if the wireless local area network cannot access the internet, the intelligent terminal cannot automatically switch back to the 3G network from the wireless local area network, and a user is required to perform network switching operation. Therefore, the network switching efficiency of the intelligent terminal is low.
Therefore, the problem in the prior art is that when the intelligent terminal is difficult to access the internet by using the wireless local area network which is accessed at present, the intelligent terminal cannot be automatically switched back to the mobile network.

Detailed Description
The following description of the embodiments of the present invention will be made clearly and completely with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which it is apparent that the embodiments described are only some embodiments of the present invention, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be made by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of the invention without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the invention.
As shown in fig. 1, embodiment 1 of the present invention provides a method for network handover, including:
101. the terminal accesses the wireless local area network.
The terminal may be a mobile phone, tablet computer or other mobile terminal. The terminal may access the wireless local area network while using the mobile network. For example, when the terminal processes a service using a mobile network, it detects that there is a wireless local area network around, and the terminal can access the wireless local area network.
102. After the terminal accesses the wireless local area network, the terminal judges whether the wireless local area network can access the Internet.
For example, the terminal resolves the domain name through DNS, determines that the wireless local area network can access the internet if the corresponding IP address can be obtained, and determines that the wireless local area network cannot access the internet if the corresponding IP address cannot be obtained. Or connecting a website by using the ping function, if the response is received, judging that the wireless local area network can access the Internet, and if the response is not received, judging that the wireless local area network cannot access the Internet. Or the terminal judges whether the http request is redirected, if so, the terminal judges that the internet can be accessed through the wireless local area network, and if not, the terminal judges that the internet cannot be accessed through the wireless local area network. The terminal can also receive the notice sent by the network side and judge whether the wireless local area network can access the Internet according to the notice. For example, when the terminal receives a notification indicating that the wireless local area network can access the internet from the network side, it is determined that the wireless local area network can access the internet, and when the terminal receives a notification indicating that the terminal is denied access from the network side, it is determined that the wireless local area network cannot access the internet.
103. If the wireless local area network can not access the Internet, the terminal disconnects the wireless local area network and uses a mobile network.
The mobile network may comprise an LTE, 3G, or 2G network.
When the terminal can not access the Internet through the wireless local area network, the terminal can automatically switch back to the mobile network from the wireless local area network, so that the network smoothness of the terminal is kept.
The following examples are set forth to illustrate the invention more clearly.
As shown in fig. 2, embodiment 2 of the present invention provides a method for network handover, including:
201. The terminal detects whether a wireless local area network exists around.
For example, the terminal accesses the internet using a mobile network while detecting whether a wireless local area network exists in the surroundings.
202. When the terminal detects the wireless local area network, judging whether the detected wireless local area network is a limited network which is forbidden to be automatically accessed by the terminal.
Specifically, the user or the system may set a list of restricted networks in the terminal, when the terminal detects a wireless local area network, traverse the wireless local area network recorded in the list of restricted networks, if the detected wireless local area network is not in the list of restricted networks, judge that the detected wireless local area network is not a restricted network that the terminal prohibits automatic access, and if the detected wireless local area network is in the list of restricted networks, judge that the detected wireless local area network is a restricted network that the terminal prohibits automatic access.
If step 202 determines that the detected wireless lan is a restricted network for which the terminal prohibits automatic access, step 209 is performed.
If step 202 determines that the detected wireless lan is not a restricted network for which the terminal prohibits automatic access, step 203 is performed.
203. The terminal is connected with the wireless local area network and acquires the routing information of the wireless local area network.
Specifically, when it is determined that the detected wireless local area network is not a limited network in which the terminal is prohibited from automatically accessing, the terminal may prompt the user to connect to the wireless local area network, and after the user connects the terminal to the wireless local area network by manual operation, the terminal successfully connects to the wireless local area network, and adds routing information of the wireless local area network in the routing table. The terminal can also automatically connect the wireless local area network when judging that the detected wireless local area network is not the limited network which the terminal is forbidden to automatically access, and adds the routing information of the wireless local area network in the routing table. If there are multiple wireless local area networks, the terminal can provide a wireless local area network list to the user, wherein the wireless local area network list contains all detected wireless local area networks which can be used for connection, so that the user can select the required wireless local area network.
204. And setting a default route as the route of the wireless local area network according to the acquired route information of the wireless local area network, so that the terminal is accessed to the wireless local area network.
In step 204, the terminal sets a default route as the route of the wlan, and simultaneously, maintains the route of the mobile network in a routing table, and automatically accesses the wlan. The terminal keeps the route of the mobile network in the route list, so the terminal can access the mobile network by using the route of the mobile network at any time.
205. The terminal judges whether the wireless local area network can access the internet.
If the terminal determines that the wlan is capable of accessing the internet, step 206 is performed.
If the terminal determines that the wireless lan is unable to access the internet, step 207 is performed.
206. The terminal accesses the internet using a wireless local area network.
207. And setting a default route as the route of the mobile network, so that the terminal accesses the mobile network and disconnects the wireless local area network.
208. The disconnected wireless local area network is set as a limited network.
Specifically, when the terminal disconnects the wireless local area network, the wireless local area network is added into a list of the limited network, so that the terminal is prevented from automatically connecting the wireless local area network which cannot access the internet again.
209. The internet is accessed using a mobile network.
The steps of embodiment 2 are performed, so that the terminal can be switched to the mobile network in time when the wireless local area network cannot access the internet. Because the time required by the terminal to switch the route and detect the wireless local area network is extremely short, the ongoing data service of the terminal is ensured not to be interrupted, and the smoothness of the network can be kept.
As shown in fig. 3, in embodiment 2, after performing step 203, the terminal connects to the wireless local area network and obtains the routing information of the wireless local area network, step 210 may also be performed.
210. And judging whether the wireless local area network is an exceptional network or not.
The exception network is a network that allows the terminal to automatically access, and the terminal directly disconnects the mobile network after automatically accessing the network. The user or the system may set an exception network table in the terminal, where the exception network table includes information of an exception network, and when determining whether the wlan is the exception network, the user or the system may determine that the wlan is not the exception network by traversing the exception network table if the wlan is not in the exception network table, and determine that the wlan is the exception network if the wlan is in the exception network table.
When the wlan is judged to belong to the exceptional network, step 211 is executed; when it is determined that the wlan does not belong to the exceptional network, step 212 is performed.
211. The terminal disconnects the mobile network and sets the default route to be the wireless local area network.
212. The terminal judges whether the network is required to be accessed manually.
When it is determined that the network needs to be accessed manually, step 213 is performed.
When it is determined that the network is not required to be accessed manually, the above-mentioned step 204 is performed.
213. Prompting the user to perform the operation of manually accessing the wireless local area network.
As can be seen from steps 210 to 213, when the wlan is an exception network or manual access is required, the terminal can directly disconnect the mobile network, and set the default route as the wlan route without continuing the additional execution steps.
