Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present application clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some embodiments of the present application, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
The embodiment of the present application provides a network switching method, as shown in fig. 1, the method may be applied to any terminal device, and the method includes the following specific steps:
In a specific embodiment, a terminal device is powered on, the terminal device may be any networking device, such as a mobile phone, a television, a computer, a tablet, a smart band, a smart speaker, an air conditioner, and the like, the terminal device initiates a network connection to scan a network signal in an environment, where the network includes: 5G networks, 4G networks, WiFi, 2G networks, 3G networks, and the like.
And 102, connecting to the 5G network when the network signal in the environment is determined to comprise the signal of the 5G network.
In a specific embodiment, the terminal device detects a network signal in the environment, and when the signal of the 5G network is detected, the terminal device connects to the 5G network and stops the search of the WiFi network, so as to reduce the power consumption of the device.
In a specific embodiment, due to poor coverage of the previous 5G network, the 5G signal in the environment is unstable, suddenly strong and weak, and even the 5G network may not be detected, when the 5G signal in the environment disappears or the 5G signal strength is lower than a preset threshold, and a signal of the 4G network exists in the environment, the 5G network is switched to be connected to the 4G network.
In one embodiment, when the 5G network is switched to connect to the 4G network, the WiFi search is started. The terminal equipment actively scans wireless Access points (Access points) by using a Probe Request frame (Probe Request), finds each wireless Access Point which can be connected in the environment, reads the signal intensity of the searched wireless Access Point and calculates the signal-to-noise ratio of the searched wireless Access Point, and selects the wireless Access Point with the maximum signal intensity as a standby Access Point.
In one embodiment, when the 5G network is switched to connect to the 4G network, a first timer is started, and during the running of the first timer, if a signal of the 5G network is detected, the connection to the 5G network is switched. And after the 5G network is switched and connected, closing the first timer, stopping WiFi searching, and restoring the equipment parameters to the initial settings so as to reduce power consumption.
In one embodiment, after the wireless access point with the highest signal strength is selected as the standby access point, the signal-to-noise ratio of the standby access point is obtained. As shown in fig. 2, no signal of the 5G network is detected during the entire period of the first timer operation, and condition 1 is satisfied, where condition 1 is: the signal strength of the standby access point is greater than a first threshold value, that is, a WiFi signal strength switching threshold, and condition 2 is satisfied, where condition 2 is: the signal-to-noise ratio of the standby access point is greater than a second threshold value, that is, a switching threshold of the WiFi signal-to-noise ratio, and condition 3 is satisfied, where condition 3 is: if the transmission delay of the 4G network is greater than a third threshold value, namely a delay threshold, the standby access point is switched and connected. On the other hand, as shown in fig. 3, no signal of the 5G network is detected during the entire period in which the first timer is operated, and a condition 4 is satisfied, where the condition 4 is: the signal strength of the 4G network is greater than a fourth threshold, i.e., a switching threshold of the signal strength of the 4G network, and a condition 5 is satisfied, where the condition 5 is: the signal-to-noise ratio of the 4G network is greater than a fifth threshold value, that is, the signal-to-noise ratio switching threshold of the 4G network, and a condition 6 is satisfied, where the condition 6 is: and if the transmission delay of the WiFi is larger than a sixth threshold value, namely a delay threshold, switching to connect to the 4G network.
In a specific embodiment, in the process of switching connection between WiFi and 4G network, when connecting WiFi, a second timer is started, before switching connection to 4G network, it needs to be determined whether the second timer is overtime, if the second timer is overtime, the switching connection to 4G network is performed, otherwise, WiFi connection is continued. Or, when the 4G network is connected, starting a third timer, before the WiFi is switched to be connected, it needs to be determined whether the third timer is overtime, if the third timer is overtime, the WiFi is switched to be connected, otherwise, the 4G network is continuously connected. The second timer and the third timer may be the same timer or different timers. By adopting the method, mutual switching between the WiFi and the 4G network cannot be carried out during the running period of the timer, and the ping-pong effect caused by frequent switching between the WiFi and the 4G network is effectively avoided.
In one embodiment, during the process of mutually switching between WiFi and 4G network, counting is started when the first time of switching to WiFi is connected, and the number of times of switching to WiFi (TCOUNT) is countedWiFi) Performing TCOUNT once per handover connection to WiFiWiFi+1, when the number reaches the preset threshold value, the WiFi is not connected any more, and the number is reset. And, even if the third timer is timed out, the WiFi is not connected, and the 4G network is always connected. The purpose is to prevent the ping-pong effect caused by frequent switching between the 4G network and the WiFi from influencing the use of the user.
In the embodiment of the application, the terminal equipment initiates network connection, detects the network signal in the environment, and connects to the 5G network when detecting the 5G signal. The 5G network has larger capacity, lower time delay, higher speed, higher safety and lower power consumption than the 4G network and the WiFi network, so that the 5G network is preferentially connected, the internet speed is greatly improved, and the waiting time of a user is saved.
When the 5G signal is lower than the preset threshold value, the 4G network is connected, a switching strategy of the 4G network and the WiFi is established, the network with strong signal intensity and low time delay is preferentially used, the ping-pong effect caused by frequent switching of the WiFi and the 4G network is effectively avoided by adopting the strategy, and a better strategy service is provided for a user to use the network.
