In one implementation manner of this embodiment, when each application program in the selected application combination exists in the client that is not installed in the client, each application program in the selected application combination is allocated to each split screen, the installed application program is started in the split screen corresponding to the installed application program, and after the icon of the uninstalled application program and the installation progress are displayed in the split screen corresponding to the uninstalled application program, the method further includes:
