Detailed Description
The embodiment of the invention provides a BMC process monitoring method, device and system of a server and a computer readable storage medium, which can realize automatic monitoring of BMC processes of all servers in a server cluster in the use process, save manpower and improve monitoring efficiency under the condition of ensuring the performance of a BMC system.
For the purpose of making the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention more apparent, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is apparent that the described embodiments are some embodiments of the present invention, but not all embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be made by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of the invention without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the invention.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for monitoring a BMC process of a server according to an embodiment of the present invention. The method comprises the following steps:
s110: acquiring configuration information of each server and a to-be-monitored process ID of the BMC, and connecting a corresponding BMC operating system based on the BMC configuration information in the configuration information;
specifically, the method provided by the embodiment of the invention can be applied to a management platform, wherein for each server in a server cluster, the to-be-monitored process ID corresponding to the BMC of the server can be determined in advance, when the process of the BMC is monitored, the configuration information of each server can be obtained, the configuration information comprises BMC configuration information, and then a BMC operating system carried by the BMC in the server is connected according to the BMC configuration information of each server.
It should be noted that, in particular, the configuration information of each server and the ID of the process to be monitored of the BMC may be stored in the database in advance, where the configuration information includes the configuration information of the server operating system and the configuration information of the BMC; and acquiring configuration information of each server and the to-be-monitored process ID of the BMC from the database.
Further, in the embodiment of the present invention, the server operating system configuration information includes the IP, the user name and the password of the server OS, and the BMC configuration information includes the IP, the user name and the password of the BMC.
Specifically, one implementation manner of storing the configuration information of each server and the to-be-monitored process ID of the BMC in the database in advance is as follows:
the configuration information sent by each server after the operating system is installed through PXE can be received in advance; receiving a process ID to be monitored, which is input by a user and aims at a server BMC; and correspondingly storing configuration information and a to-be-monitored process ID corresponding to each server into a database.
In practical application, for a large number of servers installed for the first time, a server operating system can be installed through PXE, and a task for transmitting feedback to a management platform is set in a PXE start file, so that the newly installed server operating system actively reports own configuration information, and the management platform can add the configuration information of the server to a machine management page after receiving the configuration information of the server.
Specifically, the configuration information of each server and the to-be-monitored process ID of the BMC are stored in the database in advance in a corresponding manner:
receiving server operating system configuration information and operating system version information input by a user; connecting the corresponding target server according to the server operating system configuration information; acquiring MAC information of a target server, performing system version verification based on the MCA information and the operating system version information, and if the verification is correct, acquiring BMC configuration information of the target server to obtain configuration information of the target server; if the verification fails, a prompt message of the failure is fed back to the user; after verification is correct, receiving a process ID to be monitored, which is input by a user and aims at a target server BMC; and correspondingly storing the configuration information corresponding to the target server and the ID of the process to be monitored into a database.
It should be noted that, for the case of adding a new server to the server cluster, a manual mode may be adopted to generate a management platform for the installed server operating system configuration information and operating system version information of the server, after the management platform receives the server operating system configuration information and the operating system version information, the management platform connects to a corresponding target server according to the server operating system configuration information, specifically, a process aiming at the server BMC may be selected as a process ID to be monitored according to actual needs, after the connection is successful, system version verification is performed, and the MAC information of the target server is obtained, and since only one of the MAC information of the server and the server can be uniquely determined, in the embodiment of the present invention, the system version is verified by sampling the MAC information and the operating system version information, after the system version verification is successful, the BMC configuration information of the target server is used as the configuration information of the server, and the BMC configuration information of the server is received, and the process ID to be monitored for the target server BMC is received, where the user may select the processes aiming at the server BMC according to actual needs, and obtain the process ID to be monitored, and the corresponding process ID to be stored in the database. In addition, after the verification of the system version fails, prompt information of the verification failure can be fed back to the user, so that the user can verify the input operating system version information according to the prompt information.
S120: aiming at each BMC operating system, acquiring all processes currently executed by the BMC operating system;
in the process of monitoring the BMC processes of each server, all processes currently executed by the BMC operating system may be obtained for the BMC operating system of each server, and since the BMC operating system is a Linux kernel, a Linux system command may be specifically used to obtain each process and a corresponding ID.
S130: judging whether a target process corresponding to the process ID to be monitored exists in each process, and if not, entering S140; s140: and generating prompt information and carrying out abnormal prompt.
Specifically, after all the processes currently executed in the BMC operating system are obtained, the processes can be screened from all the processes currently executed according to the process ID to be monitored of the BMC, whether a target process corresponding to the process ID to be monitored exists or not is checked, if the target process does not exist, the process is described as abnormal, and prompt information can be generated to carry out abnormal prompt. If so, the BMC configuration information, the ID of the target process and the current time are correspondingly stored.
Before the prompt message is generated, whether the target process is executed is judged according to the execution time of the target process, if so, the prompt message is not generated, and if not, the prompt message is generated.
Further, after determining that the target process corresponding to the process ID to be monitored does not exist in each process, the method may further include:
extracting a target log related to a target process from a system log of the BMC;
the target log is sent to an administrator.
Specifically, the corresponding log information of the target process can be sent to an administrator in the form of a mailbox or a short message, and the corresponding log information can be specifically sent to an administrator of a corresponding server, so that the administrator can check and maintain the target process according to the target log. After the administrator reads the received log information, the mail or information of the target log can be deleted to clear the occupied storage space.
It can be seen that, in the embodiment of the present invention, by acquiring the configuration information of each server and the ID of the process to be monitored of the server BMC, connecting the corresponding BMC operating systems in the server according to the BMC configuration information in the configuration information, then, for each BMC operating system, acquiring all the processes currently executed by the BMC operating system, and judging whether there is a target process corresponding to the ID of the process to be monitored in each process currently executed by the BMC operating system, generating prompt information when there is no target process, and performing exception prompt; the invention can realize automatic monitoring of the BMC process of each server in the server cluster, saves labor and improves monitoring efficiency under the condition of ensuring the performance of the BMC system.
