Abstract
The invention relates to a water-based silicone emulsion and a preparation method thereof, wherein the water-based silicone emulsion comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 45-57 parts of purified water, 3-5 parts of water-based high-efficiency dispersing agent and 30-40 parts of silicone powder; according to the water-based silicone emulsion, the raw materials are cooperated and combined in a specific proportion, so that the prepared water-based silicone emulsion is low in viscosity, good in stability, not easy to delaminate and capable of showing excellent smoothness and lubricating performance; according to the preparation method, the silicone powder and the water-based efficient dispersing agent are mixed firstly, and then the silicone powder is added for high-speed shearing homogenization treatment, so that a silicone emulsion system is more stable and is not easy to delaminate, and the particle size of the prepared water-based silicone emulsion can reach the level of 0.1-1 mu m through the high-speed shearing homogenization treatment.

Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of silicone emulsion, and particularly relates to water-based silicone emulsion and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Silicone is generally called siloxane, polysiloxane, the silicone powder used in the market is generally produced by adding silicon dioxide to organic silicone with higher molecular weight, namely the siloxane is dispersed in the silicon dioxide, the silicone with low molecular weight is generally liquid, commonly called silicone oil, but if the molecular weight is large enough, the silicone powder can be made into flaky solid. The higher the siloxane content in the silicone powder, the higher the viscosity of the material, the less easy the material is to disperse when used in plastics, the higher the siloxane content and molecular weight, the better the silicone dispersion performance and the better the lubricating performance.
The silicone is a dispersed lubrication modifier compounded by taking a high molecular weight organic silicon polymer as a main component and other functional additives, and has the characteristics of no precipitation, no slippage during extrusion in a screw and the like. The content of organic silicon is about 65 percent. The plastic has the advantages of improving the processing fluidity and the demoulding performance of plastics, reducing the torque, reducing the abrasion of equipment, easily filling the mould, reducing the fraction defective of products, obviously reducing the friction coefficient, improving the smooth performance, improving the surface gloss, enhancing the silky touch feeling of the surface, and improving the wear resistance and the scratch resistance.
The prior silicone emulsion has large particle size of silicone, is difficult to disperse, delaminate and store, and influences the use effect.
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances.

The proportion of each raw material in the aqueous high-efficiency dispersing agent is obtained through a large number of tests and screens by the inventor, and the prepared aqueous silicone emulsion has good stability, low viscosity and good fluidity, and is not easy to separate.
According to the water-based silicone emulsion disclosed by the invention, the raw materials are cooperated and combined in a specific proportion, so that the prepared water-based silicone emulsion is low in viscosity, good in stability, not easy to delaminate and capable of showing excellent smoothness and lubricating performance.
The polysorbate and the egg yolk are used as an emulsifier, the stearyl alcohol is used for assisting emulsification, the polycarboxylate is used as a dispersant, the sodium hexametaphosphate is used for assisting dispersion, the polyether modified polydimethylsiloxane is used as a foam inhibitor, and all the raw materials are commercially available raw materials.
A preparation method of the water-based silicone emulsion comprises the following steps:
(1) weighing the raw materials in parts by weight respectively for later use;
(2) stirring and mixing the water-based high-efficiency dispersing agent and purified water, and then adding silicone powder to carry out high-speed shearing and homogenizing treatment to obtain the water-based silicone emulsion.
Further, the stirring time in the step (2) is 3 to 5 hours.

Further, the rotation speed of the high-speed shearing homogenization treatment in the step (2) is 2800-3200rpm, and the homogenization time is 25-35 min.

the efficient water-based dispersing agent is prepared by mixing polysorbate, yolk, stearyl alcohol, polycarboxylate, sodium hexametaphosphate and polyether modified polydimethylsiloxane according to the mass ratio of 4:5:2:6:1: 1.5.
The preparation method of the aqueous silicone emulsion of the embodiment comprises the following steps:
(1) weighing the raw materials in parts by weight respectively for later use;
(2) stirring and mixing the water-based high-efficiency dispersing agent and purified water for 3 hours, adding silicone powder, and carrying out high-speed shearing homogenization treatment at the rotation speed of 2800rpm for 35min to obtain the water-based silicone emulsion.
Example 2
The water-based silicone emulsion comprises the following raw materials: 61kg of purified water, 4kg of aqueous high-efficiency dispersing agent and 35kg of silicone powder;

Comparative example 1
The raw materials of the aqueous silicone emulsion of the comparative example are the same as those of example 2, except that in the preparation method, purified water, the aqueous high-efficiency dispersing agent and silicone powder are directly mixed and stirred uniformly without high-speed shearing homogenization treatment.
Test example 1
The aqueous silicone emulsions prepared in examples 1 to 5 and comparative example 1 were left to stand in a cool air for 1 year, and delamination was observed, and the results are shown in Table 1.

As can be seen from Table 1, the aqueous silicone emulsion prepared by the method of the present invention is not delaminated after being left for one year, while the silicone emulsion prepared by the method of comparative example 1 is delaminated, so that the silicone emulsion system is more stable and is not easily delaminated due to the preparation method of the present invention, in which the silicone powder and the aqueous high-efficiency dispersant are first mixed, and then the silicone powder is added to perform high-speed shearing homogenization treatment, and the particle size of the prepared aqueous silicone emulsion can reach the level of 0.1-1 μm through the high-speed shearing homogenization treatment.

2. The aqueous silicone emulsion according to claim 1, comprising the following raw materials in parts by weight: 61 parts of purified water, 4 parts of water-based high-efficiency dispersing agent and 35 parts of silicone powder.
3. The aqueous silicone emulsion according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the aqueous high-efficiency dispersing agent is a mixture of polysorbate, egg yolk, stearyl alcohol, polycarboxylate, sodium hexametaphosphate and polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane in a mass ratio of 5:4:3:5:2: 1.
4. A method for preparing an aqueous silicone emulsion according to any one of claims 1 to 3, comprising the steps of:
(1) weighing the raw materials in parts by weight respectively for later use;
(2) stirring and mixing the water-based high-efficiency dispersing agent and purified water, and then adding silicone powder to carry out high-speed shearing and homogenizing treatment to obtain the water-based silicone emulsion.
