Background
At present, a user can input contents such as characters, symbols, letters and the like in an electronic device through an input method in the electronic device. The input method comprises a voice input method, a pinyin input method and a handwriting input method.
For example, taking the handwriting input method as an example, in the process of inputting content based on the handwriting input method, the electronic device may display a candidate word corresponding to the handwriting shape according to the handwriting shape input by the user.
However, since the handwriting input method matches the candidate characters based on the handwriting shapes input by the user, when the user cannot accurately write the complete font of the word to be input, the electronic device may not display the candidate characters that meet the user's expectations, thereby causing the electronic device to display the candidate characters based on the handwriting input method with a low accuracy.

The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be described clearly below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present application. All other embodiments that can be derived by one of ordinary skill in the art from the embodiments given herein are intended to be within the scope of the present disclosure.

The candidate character display method provided by the embodiment of the application can be applied to a scene of inputting contents through a handwriting input method.
At present, in the process of inputting contents by a user using a handwriting input method, the user is generally required to be familiar with the font and strokes of a character to be input (i.e. a character input by the user), and the user is required to continuously write on a handwriting input interface, so that the electronic equipment can be triggered to display candidate characters which may meet the actual input requirement of the user. That is, if the user cannot write the complete glyph structure of the word to be input (e.g., a complex word or a word with complex strokes), the electronic device may not be able to display candidates including the word to be input, which results in a low accuracy rate of displaying the candidate words by the electronic device.
In the candidate word display method provided in the embodiment of the present application:
in one manner, a user may input a part of a word to be input (e.g., a first handwritten character in the embodiment of the present application) on a handwriting input interface, and then the electronic device may acquire coordinate information of the first handwritten character input by the user on the handwriting input interface and display a target candidate word based on the first handwritten character and the coordinate information. Since the coordinate information may indicate a position of the first handwritten character in the word to be input, the probability that the target candidate word is the word to be input that meets the input requirement may be increased. Therefore, the candidate character display method provided by the embodiment of the application can not only reduce the degree of dependence of the handwriting input method on the shape of the handwriting input by the user, but also improve the accuracy of candidate character display of the electronic equipment.
Alternatively, the user may input a part of a word to be input (e.g., a first handwritten character in the embodiment of the present application) on the handwriting input interface, and then the electronic device may determine and display a target candidate word according to the first handwritten character and other handwritten characters input by the user before inputting the first handwritten character; it will be appreciated that in this case, the first handwritten character and the other handwritten characters are included in the target candidate word, i.e. the first handwritten character and the other characters are different parts of the word to be input. Therefore, the target candidate character can be determined by combining the handwritten character currently input by the user and the handwritten character input by the user before the handwritten character is input, so that the dependence degree of a handwriting input method on the shape of the handwriting input by the user can be reduced, and the accuracy of displaying the candidate character by the electronic equipment can be improved.
In another mode, a user may input a part of a word to be input (e.g., a first handwritten character in the embodiment of the present application) on a handwriting input interface, and during the process of inputting the first handwritten character, a pinyin (e.g., voice information in the embodiment of the present application) of the word to be input is input through a voice input method, so that the electronic device may determine a target candidate word based on the first handwritten character and the pinyin, and thus, since the target candidate word may be displayed in combination with the part of the word to be input and the pinyin of the word to be input, not only may the degree of dependence of a handwriting input method on a shape input by the user be reduced, but also the accuracy of displaying the candidate word by the electronic device may be improved.
With reference to fig. 1, an embodiment of the present application provides a candidate word display method, which may include steps 101 and 102 described below. The following description will exemplarily be made by taking an example in which the candidate word display apparatus performs the method.
In this embodiment, the first handwritten character may be a first part of a target word, and the target word is a word that a user needs to input. For example, the target word is "cocoon", the first handwritten character may be "", or may be "worm".
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, after the user starts inputting a handwritten word in the handwriting input interface, the candidate word display device may determine whether the user completes inputting the handwritten word by detecting whether a finger of the user leaves a screen of the electronic device. Specifically, if the finger of the user leaves the screen of the electronic device for a time period greater than or equal to a time period threshold (e.g., 5 seconds), it is determined that the user has completed inputting the handwritten character.
In the embodiment of the application, the handwriting input interface may include a handwriting area and other areas, and the input of the handwritten character in the handwriting input interface by the user is substantially that the user inputs the handwritten character in the handwriting area.

In yet another possible implementation, the candidate word display device may combine the first handwritten character and the phonetic information, and preferentially display a candidate word whose pinyin is the closest match to the phonetic information, including the first handwritten character.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, the number of the target candidate words may be one, or may be multiple, and may be specifically determined according to actual use requirements, and the embodiment of the present application is not limited.
The candidate word display method provided by the embodiment of the present application is described in detail below with reference to the above three possible implementation manners.

It can be understood that in the single character writing mode, the user can input one character at a time on the handwriting input interface; in the multi-word mode, a user may enter multiple words at a time in the handwriting input interface.
In the embodiment of the application, the user can trigger the candidate character display device to divide the handwriting input interface according to the actual use requirement, so that the flexibility of inputting messages based on a handwriting input method can be improved, and the man-machine interaction performance is improved.

Optionally, in this embodiment of the present application, the target information includes a second handwritten character, and before the step 105, the candidate word display method provided in this embodiment of the present application may further include the following steps 107 to 108.
Step 107, the candidate character display device receives a second handwritten character input by the user.
Step 108, the candidate word display device displays at least one character, wherein the at least one character comprises a second handwritten character.
In the embodiment of the application, when a user remembers a plurality of parts of a target word (for example, the first handwritten character and the second handwritten character) but does not determine the relative position relationship between the parts, the user may add the at least one handwritten character to the multi-level screening boxes in sequence, so that after the user inputs the first handwritten character, the candidate character display device may determine a target candidate word including the first handwritten character and the second handwritten character by combining the first handwritten character and the second handwritten character, which not only can improve the accuracy of displaying the candidate word, but also can reduce the operation complexity of inputting content by the user using a handwriting input method.
A further possible implementation is described in detail below with reference to specific examples.
For example, assuming that the writing splitting mode in the electronic device is in the on state and the target word is "frequently", as shown in (a) in fig. 5, the handwriting input interface 50 includes a handwriting area 51 and a first control 52, and the user can input "every" (i.e., a second handwritten character) in the handwriting area 51, as shown in (b) in fig. 5, the candidate word display device can display "every", and can sequentially display "sensitive", "daily", "every", "year" (i.e., at least one third handwritten character) after "every". Then, as shown in fig. 5 (b), the user may click on the first control 52 (i.e., the first input), and as shown in fig. 5 (c), the candidate word display means may display a multi-level filter box 53 and display "per" (i.e., the second handwritten character) in the multi-level filter box 53; the user continues to input "" (i.e., the first handwritten character) in the handwriting input area 51, and the candidate character display device continues to search for the character including "every" in the character pattern while recognizing the handwriting trajectory of "" in the character library, so that the filtering range can be narrowed and the more qualified character can be weighted up, so that the candidate character display device can display "frequently" as shown in (d) of fig. 5, and of course, as shown in (b) of fig. 5, in an actual implementation, the candidate character display device can display characters similar to "frequently" such as "sensitive", "dare", "pulling", and the like after "frequently".
Yet another possible implementation: the target information includes voice information
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the voice information may include a letter string corresponding to the target word, or may include a letter string and a tone corresponding to the target word. The target candidate character can be determined according to the pinyin of a part of the target character and the target character.
For example, assuming that the target word is "frequently", the voice information may include: the term "f-n" includes the Pinyin and tone of "frequently".
It will be appreciated that the method may be applied in a scenario where a user remembers a portion of a target word and the pronunciation of the target word.
Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, in another possible implementation manner, the step 102 may be specifically implemented by the following steps E to G.
E, determining a candidate character set corresponding to the voice information by a candidate character display device according to the voice information, wherein each candidate character in the candidate character set is matched with the voice information;
and F, determining the character including the first handwritten character in the candidate character set as a target candidate character by the candidate character display device.
And G, displaying the target candidate character by the candidate character display device.
The following describes the implementation process of the above-mentioned still another possible implementation manner.
1) The candidate character display device is in a pinyin and radical word output mode, and at the moment, the voice recognition function in the candidate character display device is in an open state. 2) When a user writes on the handwriting input interface, the voice of a character to be input (namely a target character) can be read, so that the candidate character display device can record the current handwriting track of the user and acquire the voice information input by the user. 3) The candidate character display device can identify a handwriting track of a user to acquire a first handwritten character, then the candidate character display device can search a pronunciation of a character matched with the voice information in a character library by combining the voice information input by the user to serve as a candidate character set, and then a character including the first handwritten character in the candidate character set serves as a target candidate character.
For example, as shown in fig. 6, assuming that the user desires to input "many" (i.e., a target word), the user may write "per" on the handwriting input interface 60, and in the process of writing "per", input the voice information "f a n" through the voice input method, so that the candidate word display apparatus may identify and display the best candidate word "many" in combination with "per" and the voice information "f a n".
In the embodiment of the application, the candidate character display device can combine the handwriting track recognition technology and the voice recognition technology, so that the accuracy of displaying candidate characters by the candidate character display device can be improved.
In the candidate character display method provided in the embodiment of the application, when the first handwritten character input by the user on the handwriting input interface is received, the target candidate character can be determined and displayed together by combining the first handwritten character with the input area (determined by the coordinate information of the first input on the handwriting input interface), other handwritten characters (i.e. at least one handwritten character) or pinyin (i.e. voice information) input by the user when the first handwritten character is input, i.e. combining the first handwritten character with the feature information of the character to be input by the user, so that the degree of dependence of the handwriting input method on the shape of the handwriting input by the user can be reduced, and the accuracy of the electronic device in displaying the candidate characters can be improved.
It should be noted that, in the candidate word display method provided in the embodiment of the present application, the execution main body may be a candidate word display apparatus, or a control module in the candidate word display apparatus for executing the candidate word display method. In the embodiment of the present application, a candidate word display method executed by a candidate word display device is taken as an example, and the candidate word display device provided in the embodiment of the present application is described.
With reference to fig. 7, an embodiment of the present application provides a candidate word display apparatus 70, where the candidate word display apparatus 70 may include: a receiving module 71 and a display module 72. A receiving module 71, configured to receive a first handwritten character input by a user when a handwriting input interface is displayed; and a display module 72, configured to display a target candidate word according to the first handwritten character and the target information received by the receiving module 71, where the target candidate word may include the first handwritten character.
Wherein the target information may include any one of: the method comprises the steps of firstly inputting first position information of a user on a handwriting input interface, inputting a second handwritten character before the user inputs a first handwritten character, and inputting voice information during the process of inputting the first handwritten character by the user.
In a possible implementation manner, the target information may include first location information; the display module 72 may include a first determination submodule and a first display submodule. The first determining submodule is used for determining a target candidate character according to the first handwritten character and the relative position of a first position in the handwriting input interface, wherein the first position is the position indicated by the first position information; and the first display submodule is used for displaying the target candidate words determined by the first determination submodule.
In a possible implementation manner, the handwriting input interface may include M regions, where M is a positive integer; and the first determining submodule is specifically used for determining a target candidate character according to the first handwritten character and the relative position of the target area in the handwriting input interface under the condition that the first position is in the target area in the M areas.
In a possible implementation manner, the target information may include a second handwritten character; the receiving module 71 is further configured to receive a first input to the first control before receiving the first handwritten character input by the user; the apparatus may also include a determination module; the display module 72 may include a second determination submodule and a second display submodule; a determination module for determining the first handwritten character as part of the search term in response to the first input received by the receiving module 71; a second determining sub-module, configured to determine, in response to the first input received by the receiving module 71, a target candidate word according to the first handwritten character and the second handwritten character; and the second display submodule is used for displaying the target candidate words determined by the second determination submodule.
Wherein the target candidate word may include a first handwritten character and a second handwritten character.
In a possible implementation manner, the target information may include target information that may include voice information; the display module 72 may include a third determination submodule and a third display submodule. The third determining submodule is used for determining a candidate character set corresponding to the voice information according to the voice information, determining characters which can include the first handwritten character in the candidate character set as target candidate characters, and matching each candidate character in the candidate character set with the voice information; and the third display submodule is used for displaying the target candidate words determined by the third determination submodule.
In the candidate character display apparatus provided in the embodiment of the application, since the first handwritten character may be combined with the input area (determined by the coordinate information of the first input on the handwriting input interface) when the first handwritten character is input, other handwritten characters (i.e. at least one handwritten character) or pinyin (i.e. voice information) input by the user, that is, the first handwritten character may be combined with the feature information of the character to be input by the user to jointly determine and display the target candidate character, not only the degree of dependence of the handwriting input method on the shape of the handwriting input by the user may be reduced, but also the accuracy of displaying the candidate character may be improved.
The beneficial effects of the various implementation manners in this embodiment may specifically refer to the beneficial effects of the corresponding implementation manners in the above method embodiments, and are not described herein again to avoid repetition.
The candidate word display device in the embodiment of the present application may be a device, or may be a component, an integrated circuit, or a chip in a terminal. The device can be mobile electronic equipment or non-mobile electronic equipment. By way of example, the mobile electronic device may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a palm top computer, a vehicle-mounted electronic device, a wearable device, an ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC), a netbook or a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), and the like, and the non-mobile electronic device may be a server, a Network Attached Storage (NAS), a Personal Computer (PC), a Television (TV), a teller machine or a self-service machine, and the like, and the embodiments of the present application are not particularly limited.
The candidate word display device in the embodiment of the present application may be a device having an operating system. The operating system may be an Android (Android) operating system, an ios operating system, or other possible operating systems, and embodiments of the present application are not limited specifically.
The candidate word display device 70 provided in this embodiment of the application can implement each process implemented by the method embodiments of fig. 1 to fig. 6, and is not described here again to avoid repetition.
As shown in fig. 8, an electronic device 200 according to an embodiment of the present application is further provided, which includes a processor 202, a memory 201, and a program or an instruction stored in the memory 201 and executable on the processor 202, where the program or the instruction is executed by the processor 202 to implement the processes of the candidate word display method embodiment, and can achieve the same technical effects, and the descriptions are omitted here to avoid repetition.
It should be noted that the electronic devices in the embodiments of the present application include the mobile electronic devices and the non-mobile electronic devices described above.
Fig. 9 is a schematic diagram of a hardware structure of an electronic device implementing an embodiment of the present application.
The electronic device 1000 includes, but is not limited to: a radio frequency unit 1001, a network module 1002, an audio output unit 1003, an input unit 1004, a sensor 1005, a display unit 1006, a user input unit 1007, an interface unit 1008, a memory 1009, and a processor 1010.
Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the electronic device 1000 may further comprise a power source (e.g., a battery) for supplying power to various components, and the power source may be logically connected to the processor 1010 through a power management system, so as to implement functions of managing charging, discharging, and power consumption through the power management system. The electronic device structure shown in fig. 9 does not constitute a limitation of the electronic device, and the electronic device may include more or less components than those shown, or combine some components, or arrange different components, and thus, the description is not repeated here.
The user input unit 1007 is used for receiving a first handwritten character input by a user under the condition that a handwriting input interface is displayed; a display unit 1006, configured to display a target candidate word according to the first handwritten character and the target information received by the user input unit 1007, where the target candidate word may include the first handwritten character.
Wherein the target information may include any one of: the method comprises the steps of firstly inputting first position information of a user on a handwriting input interface, inputting a second handwritten character before the user inputs a first handwritten character, and inputting voice information during the process of inputting the first handwritten character by the user.
In a possible implementation manner, the target information may include first location information; the processor 1010 is used for determining a target candidate character according to the first handwritten character and the relative position of the first position in the handwriting input interface, wherein the first position is the position indicated by the first position information; and a display unit 1006, configured to display the target candidate words determined by the processor 1010.
In a possible implementation manner, the handwriting input interface may include M regions, where M is a positive integer; the processor 1010 is specifically configured to determine a target candidate word according to the first handwritten character and a relative position of the target area in the handwriting input interface when the first position is within a target area of the M areas.
In a possible implementation manner, the target information may include a second handwritten character; the user input unit 1007 is further used for receiving a first input to the first control before receiving a first handwritten character input by the user; the apparatus may also include a determination module; a determination module for determining a first handwritten character as a part of a search word in response to a first input received by the user input unit 1007; a processor 1010 for determining a target candidate word based on the first handwritten character and the second handwritten character in response to a first input received by the user input unit 1007; and a display unit 1006, configured to display the target candidate words determined by the processor 1010.
Wherein the target candidate word may include a first handwritten character and a second handwritten character.
In a possible implementation manner, the target information may include target information that may include voice information. The processor 1010 is configured to determine, according to the speech information, a candidate word set corresponding to the speech information, and determine, as a target candidate word, a word that may include the first handwritten character in the candidate word set, where each candidate word in the candidate word set is matched with the speech information; and a display unit 1006, configured to display the target candidate words determined by the processor 1010.
In the electronic device provided by the embodiment of the application, the first handwritten character can be combined with an input area (determined by coordinate information of the first input on the handwriting input interface) when the first handwritten character is input, other handwritten characters (i.e. at least one handwritten character) or pinyin (i.e. voice information) input by the user, that is, the first handwritten character is combined with feature information of a character to be input by the user to jointly determine and display a target candidate character, so that the degree of dependence of a handwriting input method on the shape of the character input by the user can be reduced, and the accuracy of displaying the candidate character can be improved.
The beneficial effects of the various implementation manners in this embodiment may specifically refer to the beneficial effects of the corresponding implementation manners in the above method embodiments, and are not described herein again to avoid repetition.
It should be understood that in the embodiment of the present application, the input Unit 1004 may include a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) 10041 and a microphone 10042, and the Graphics Processing Unit 10041 processes image data of still pictures or videos obtained by an image capturing device (such as a camera) in a video capturing mode or an image capturing mode. The display unit 1006 may include a display panel 10061, and the display panel 10061 may be configured in the form of a liquid crystal display, an organic light emitting diode, or the like. The user input unit 1007 includes a touch panel 10071 and other input devices 10072. The touch panel 10071 is also referred to as a touch screen. The touch panel 10071 may include two parts, a touch detection device and a touch controller. Other input devices 10072 may include, but are not limited to, a physical keyboard, function keys (e.g., volume control keys, switch keys, etc.), a trackball, a mouse, and a joystick, which are not described in detail herein. The memory 1009 may be used to store software programs as well as various data, including but not limited to application programs and operating systems. Processor 1010 may integrate an application processor that handles primarily operating systems, user interfaces, applications, etc. and a modem processor that handles primarily wireless communications. It will be appreciated that the modem processor described above may not be integrated into processor 1010.
The embodiment of the present application further provides a readable storage medium, where a program or an instruction is stored on the readable storage medium, and when the program or the instruction is executed by a processor, the program or the instruction implements each process of the candidate word display method embodiment, and can achieve the same technical effect, and in order to avoid repetition, details are not repeated here.
The processor is a processor in the electronic device in the above embodiment. The readable storage medium includes a computer readable storage medium, such as a Read-Only Memory (ROM), a Random Access Memory (RAM), a magnetic disk or an optical disk. The embodiment of the present application further provides a chip, where the chip includes a processor and a communication interface, the communication interface is coupled to the processor, and the processor is configured to run a program or an instruction to implement each process of the candidate word display method embodiment, and the same technical effect can be achieved.
It should be understood that the chips mentioned in the embodiments of the present application may also be referred to as system-on-chip, system-on-chip or system-on-chip, etc.
It should be noted that, in this document, the terms "comprises," "comprising," or any other variation thereof, are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion, such that a process, method, article, or apparatus that comprises a list of elements does not include only those elements but may include other elements not expressly listed or inherent to such process, method, article, or apparatus. Without further limitation, an element defined by the phrase "comprising an … …" does not exclude the presence of other like elements in a process, method, article, or apparatus that comprises the element. In addition, features described with reference to certain examples may be combined in other examples.
Through the above description of the embodiments, those skilled in the art will clearly understand that the method of the above embodiments can be implemented by software plus a necessary general hardware platform, and certainly can also be implemented by hardware, but in many cases, the former is a better implementation manner. Based on such understanding, the technical solutions of the present application may be embodied in the form of a computer software product, which is stored in a storage medium (such as ROM/RAM, magnetic disk, optical disk) and includes instructions for enabling a terminal (such as a mobile phone, a computer, a server, or a network device) to execute the method according to the embodiments of the present application.
While the present embodiments have been described with reference to the accompanying drawings, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the precise embodiments described above, which are meant to be illustrative and not restrictive, and that various changes may be made therein by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined by the appended claims.
