The modular assembly hopper for railroad hopper cars of claim 1, wherein said second rim comprises a front rim, a rear rim and two end rims of L-shaped aluminum alloy sections, said end plates having end reinforcing beams disposed thereon that are parallel to said end rims, said side plates having side reinforcing beams disposed thereon that are parallel to said front rim and said rear rim.
10. The modular assembly hopper for a railway hopper car of claim 1, wherein the inclination of said main hopper and said discharge hopper is greater than the angle of repose of the cargo carried by the railway hopper car.
