The heating element in the embodiment of the invention is an element which receives electric energy provided by an aerosol generating device or generates heat energy by being placed in an induction magnetic field. That is, the heating element generates heat in a state of being energized, or generates heat in a magnetic field range formed by the electromagnetic induction coil.
The invention provides an aerosol-generating system comprising an aerosol-generating device for providing energy, the aerosol-generating device having a receiving cavity within which an aerosol-generating article is mounted.

Example 1

3. An aerosol-generating article according to claim 1, wherein the heat generating member has a shape comprising at least one of a tube, a film, a sheet, and a powder particle; the tobacco material is solid, semi-solid or liquid.

An aerosol-generating article according to claim 4, wherein the heat-generating member is in the form of a powder particle, the smoking material is in a solid or semi-solid state, the heat-generating member comprises from 10% to 40% by volume of the smoking material, and the heat-generating member is evenly distributed within the smoking material.
6. An aerosol-generating article according to claim 3, wherein the heat-generating member is tubular and the smoking material is disposed within the tubular heat-generating member.
7. An aerosol-generating article according to claim 3 in which the heat generating component is in the form of a film or sheet, the heat generating component being disposed within the smoking material and dividing the smoking material into sections.
8. An aerosol-generating article according to claim 7, wherein the heat generating component is disposed laterally, obliquely and/or longitudinally within the smoking material, wherein the heat generating component blocking the smoking material defines at least one through hole.
9. An aerosol-generating article according to claim 7, further comprising a body in which a hollow cavity is formed, the heat generating component and the smoking material being disposed within the hollow cavity, one end of the body being provided with a mouthpiece section.
10. An aerosol-generating system comprising an aerosol-generating device for providing energy, the aerosol-generating device having a receiving chamber in which an aerosol-generating article according to any of claims 1 to 9 is disposed, the receiving chamber being provided with a magnetic induction coil for providing an induced magnetic field to cause the heat generating member to generate heat.
