Detailed Description
Exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. While exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings, it should be understood that the invention can be embodied in various forms and should not be limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art.
Referring to fig. 1, a flowchart illustrating steps of a video playing method according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown, where the method may be applied to a client, and the client may include a physical device of a smart phone, a desktop computer, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a palm top computer, a personal digital assistant, a portable media player, and the like, and may also include software running in the physical device, such as a computer program. Operating systems running on the client may include, but are not limited to, an Android system (Android system), an IOS system, a Linux system, a Windows Phone system, a Windows system, a SYmbian (SYmbian) system, a BlackBerry (BlackBerry) system, and the like. The following is an exemplary description of the application to a video playback device.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the method may specifically include the following steps:
step 101, in the process of playing a first video, in response to a specified fast forward operation for the first video, determining a current playing time point, and generating a fast forward request; the fast forward request includes account information of the user.
In the process of watching the video, if the user is not interested in the currently played video content, the playing time of the currently uninterested video content can be reduced in a fast forward mode. Taking a touch mobile phone to play videos as an example, two fast-forward modes are generally available, one mode is to continuously press the right half interface of the current video playing interface to achieve the purpose of fast-forward playing in a multi-speed playing mode; the other is to realize the purpose of fast forward playing by dragging the progress bar of the current video playing interface backwards.
The designated fast forward operation in the embodiment of the present invention needs to be distinguished from the above-described fast forward operation of the continuously-pressing and backward multi-moving progress bar. In an example, the specified fast forward operation in the embodiment of the present invention may be an operation of clicking a fast forward key; the fast forward key may be a physical key or a virtual key. When the fast forward key is a virtual key, it may be a fast forward control in the play interface, or may be a preset area in the play interface, for example, the preset area may be a right half interface of the play interface. It should be noted that, when the video playback device is a non-touch video playback device, the fast forward key may be an entity key.
In another example, when the video playback device includes a touch display screen, the specified fast forward operation in the embodiment of the present invention may be a sliding operation corresponding to a playback interface displayed on the touch display screen. For example, a sliding operation with a sliding track in a right direction is triggered on the playing interface.
The embodiment of the invention determines the currently played video as the first video. In the first video playing process, when a specified fast forward operation for the first video is received, the current playing time point of the first video can be determined, and a fast forward request is generated, wherein the fast forward request comprises account information of a user. The fast forward request is used for requesting to fast forward the playing progress of the first video according to the fast forward time interval corresponding to the account information.
102, acquiring a target fast forward time interval corresponding to the account information according to the fast forward request; the target fast forward time interval is used for representing an average fast forward time interval corresponding to fast forward operations of a plurality of played videos watched by the user.
The fast forward interval corresponding to one fast forward operation is a time difference between a video playback time point corresponding to the start of the fast forward operation and a video playback time point corresponding to the end of the fast forward operation. The fast forward operation includes a specified fast forward operation and a normal fast forward operation (normal fast forward operation such as a fast forward operation of continuously pressing and multi-moving a progressive bar backward) of the embodiment of the present invention.
Illustratively, when the video is played for 50 minutes, the user continuously presses the right half interface of the playing interface, so that the video is played at multiple speed (for example, 2 times speed), and when the video is played at multiple speed for 53 minutes, the user ends the action of continuously pressing the right half interface of the playing interface, which is referred to as a fast forward operation, and the fast forward time interval is a time difference between 53 minutes and 50 minutes, that is, 3 minutes.
Illustratively, when the video is played for 50 minutes, the user drags the progress bar of the playing interface backwards, and the action of dragging the progress bar is finished at 53 minutes, which is recorded as a fast forward operation, and the fast forward time interval is a time difference between 53 minutes and 50 minutes, i.e. 3 minutes.
The habits of different users in watching videos generally differ, and specifically include that the fast forward time interval of each fast forward operation differs. For example, some fast forward intervals of fast forward operations by users are relatively short, such as 1-3 minutes, while some fast forward intervals of fast forward operations by users are relatively long, such as 6-8 minutes.
Different users can be distinguished through the account information, and the target fast forward time interval corresponding to the account information carried by the fast forward request is obtained according to the fast forward request, so that different users can be matched with different target fast forward time intervals.
Generally, when a user plays a video through a video playing device, the user logs in personal account information first, historical playing information of the user can be determined through the account information, a corresponding target fast forward time interval can be determined by analyzing the historical playing information, and the target fast forward time interval can be used for representing an average fast forward time interval corresponding to fast forward operations of a plurality of played videos watched by the user.
In an optional embodiment of the present invention, the process of acquiring the target fast forwarding time interval corresponding to the account information according to the fast forwarding request may include:
step 1021, obtaining play behavior data of each played video in a played video set corresponding to the account information, wherein the play behavior data comprises the number of fast forwarding times of the played video in the playing process and the time interval of each fast forwarding;
step 1022, calculating the quotient of the sum of the fast forward time intervals of the played videos in the playing process and the fast forward times, and recording the quotient as a first fast forward time interval;
step 1023, calculating the quotient of the sum of the first time intervals of the played videos and the number of the played videos, and recording the quotient as a second fast forward time interval;
step 1024, determining the second fast forward time interval as the target fast forward time interval.
In this embodiment, the video playing device may store or obtain, from the server, historical playing information corresponding to account information logged in by the video playing device, where the historical playing information includes playing behavior data of each played video in a set of played videos, where the playing behavior data includes the number of times that the played video receives a fast forward operation in a playing process, and a fast forward time interval of each fast forward operation; i.e. the play behavior data comprises the number of fast-forwards of the played video during the play process and the time interval of each fast-forward. Where the fast forward operation refers to an operation of causing a video to skip frames for play and/or accelerating play, including specifying the fast forward operation and the normal fast forward operation, the normal fast forward operation is not limited to the two examples in the above examples.
Then calculating the quotient of the sum of the fast forward time intervals of the played videos in the playing process and the fast forward times to obtain a first fast forward time interval, wherein the first fast forward time interval corresponding to each played video is used for representing the fast forward time interval of the average fast forward operation of each time of the played videos; after the first fast forward time interval is obtained, calculating the quotient of the sum of the first time intervals of the plurality of played videos and the number of the played videos to obtain a second fast forward time interval, wherein the second fast forward time interval is used for representing the average value of the first fast forward time intervals of the plurality of played videos; and determining the second time interval as a target fast forwarding time interval corresponding to the account information.
Specifically, after each video is played, the video playing device determines whether the video playing process meets a predefined condition (for example, the ratio of the playing time length of the video playing process to the video time length is greater than a preset ratio, or the video time length is greater than a preset time length, and the like)Etc.), if so, playing information of the video during playing can be collected, and the playing information can specifically include the number of fast-forwarding times (fast-forwarding times are denoted by N), and the time interval of each fast-forwarding (denoted by T) N_2 The time point of the Nth fast forward end is represented by T N_1 Indicating the time point when the nth fast forward starts, the time interval of the nth fast forward may be represented as T N_2 -T N_1 ) And combining account information (using U) id Representation) and video identification (by V) id Representation) are stored together locally at the video playback device or sent to a server.
According to the specific definition of the history time period corresponding to the history playing information, the history playing information in the history time period can be acquired from the stored playing information, and the number (represented by count) of played videos in the history playing information can be calculated. Illustratively, when the history time period is defined as the last month, the history play information of the last month is acquired from the stored play information. Illustratively, when the history time period is the last month excluding the current day, the history play information excluding the current day in the last month is acquired from the stored play information.
Calculating the first fast forward time interval (M represents the number of the played videos and T represents the number of the played videos) of each fast forward according to the fast forward times of each played video in the playing process and the time interval of each fast forward vidM A first fast forward interval representing an average per fast forward of the mth played video); the corresponding calculation formula is as follows:
T vidM =[(T 1_2 -T 1_1 )+(T 2_2 -T 2_1 )+……+(T N_2 -T N_1 )]/N
calculating the average value of the first fast forward time intervals of the played videos according to the first time intervals of the played videos and the number of the played videos, and recording the average value as a second fast forward time interval (T) uid2 Represents); the corresponding calculation formula is as follows:
T uid2 =[T vid1 +T vid2 +……+T vidM ]/count,count=M
determining the second fast forward interval as the target fast forward interval (in T) final Represents); the corresponding calculation formula is as follows:
T final =T uid2
further, in order to ensure that the target fast forward time interval obtained by the embodiment of the present invention coincides with the fast forward habit of the user, the process of determining the second fast forward time interval as the target fast forward time interval further includes:
calculating a variance of a first fast forward time interval for a plurality of the played videos;
and if the variance is smaller than a preset fast forwarding variance threshold value, determining the second fast forwarding time interval as the target fast forwarding time interval.
Wherein the variance of the first fast forward interval (in D) 1 Expressed), the corresponding calculation formula is as follows:
D 1 =[(T vid1 -T uid2 ) 2 +(T vid2 -T uid2 ) 2 +……+(T vidM -T uid2 ) 2 ]/count,count=M
preset fast forward variance threshold (with D) valid1 Representing), if the variance is smaller than a preset fast forward variance threshold, determining the second fast forward time interval as the target fast forward time interval; the corresponding calculation formula is as follows:
T final =T uid2 ,D 1 ≤D valid1
the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to setting the preset fast forward variance threshold. When the variance is less than a preset fast forward variance threshold, the time interval corresponding to each fast forward by the user of the account information may be considered not to fluctuate much, and the second fast forward time interval may be determined as the target fast forward time interval.
In another optional embodiment of the present invention, the process of obtaining the target fast forwarding time interval corresponding to the account information according to the fast forwarding request may include:
and acquiring a target fast forward time interval corresponding to the account information from a server according to the fast forward request.
The server may be an independent physical server, a server cluster or a distributed system formed by a plurality of physical servers, or a cloud server providing a basic cloud computing server such as a cloud server, a cloud database, cloud computing, a cloud function, cloud storage, a network server, cloud communication, a middleware service, a domain name service, a security service, a big data and artificial intelligence platform, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to this.
In this embodiment, after the video playback device generates the fast forward request, the fast forward request may be sent to the server to obtain the corresponding target fast forward time interval from the server. It is understood that the target fast forward interval in this embodiment is analyzed by the server. Specifically, after each video is played, the video playing device determines whether the video playing process meets a predefined condition (for example, a ratio of a playing time length of the video playing process to a video time length is greater than a preset ratio, or the video time length is greater than the preset time length, and the like), and if so, collects playing information of the video in the playing process, where the playing information may specifically include the number of fast-forwarding times and a time interval of each fast-forwarding, and stores the playing information locally in the video playing device or sends the playing information to a server in combination with account information and a video identifier. Therefore, the server can store the historical playing information corresponding to the account information of different users, and can analyze the historical playing information of each account information in real time or periodically to obtain the target fast forwarding time interval corresponding to each account information. The process of analyzing the historical playing information of each account information by the server to obtain the corresponding target fast forward time interval is similar to the process of analyzing the historical playing information by the video playing device to obtain the corresponding target fast forward time interval, which can be described in steps 1021-1024 above, and is not described again here.
It should be noted that, when the server calculates the target fast forward time interval corresponding to each user account information in real time, it may be specifically shown that when a fast forward request sent by the video playback device is received, the target fast forward time interval corresponding to the account information carried in the fast forward request is calculated in real time. The historical playing information for calculating the target fast forwarding time interval basis corresponding to the account information carried by the fast forwarding request in real time can be updated in real time or periodically. When the history play feature data is updated in real time, the number of fast-forwards of the last played video and the time interval of each fast-forward should be recorded in the history play information.
And when the server determines the target fast forward time interval corresponding to the account information, returning the target fast forward time interval to the corresponding video playing equipment.
Step 103, determining a target play time point according to the current play time point and the target fast forward time interval.
After the current playing time point and the target fast forward time interval are determined, the target fast forward time interval can be accumulated on the basis of the current playing time point to obtain the target playing time point.
Considering that the ending play time point of the first video may be exceeded after accumulating the target fast forward time interval on the basis of the current play time point, in order to normally play the first video after the fast forward operation is specified, in an embodiment of the present invention, the determining the target play time point may include:
accumulating the target fast forward time interval on the basis of the current playing time point to obtain a first playing time point;
if the first playing time point is before the ending time point of the first video, determining the first playing time point as a target playing time point;
and if the first playing time point is not before the ending time point of the first video, determining the ending time point as a target playing time point.
Illustratively, the first video duration is 60 minutes, the target fast forward time interval is 5 minutes, it is understood that the ending time point of the first video is 60 minutes, a specified fast forward operation is detected when the first video is played for 50 minutes, 50 minutes is determined as the current play time point, and 55 minutes can be calculated from the current play time point (50 minutes) and the target fast forward time interval (5 minutes), at which time, since the first play time point (55 minutes) is before the ending time point (60 minutes), the first play time point (55 minutes) is taken as the target play time point.
Illustratively, the first video duration is 60 minutes, the target fast forward interval is 5 minutes, it is understood that the ending time point of the first video is 60 minutes, a specified fast forward operation is detected when the video is played for 56 minutes, 56 minutes is determined as the current playing time point, and the first playing time point is 61 minutes which can be calculated according to the current playing time point (56 minutes) and the target fast forward interval (5 minutes), and at this time, the ending time point (60 minutes) is taken as the target playing time point because the first playing time point (61 minutes) is not before the ending time point (60 minutes).
Optionally, if the first playing time point is not before the ending time point of the first video, determining a time point which is a preset time away from the ending time point of the first video as a target playing time point.
Illustratively, the first video duration is 60 minutes, the target fast forward time interval is 5 minutes, it is understood that the ending time point of the first video is 60 minutes, a specified fast forward operation is detected when the video is played for 56 minutes, 56 minutes is determined as the current play time point, and 61 minutes can be calculated from the current play time point (56 minutes) and the target fast forward time interval (5 minutes), and at this time, since the first play time point (61 minutes) is not before the ending time point (60 minutes), a time point (57 minutes) which is a preset time (e.g., 3 minutes) from the ending time point (60 minutes) is taken as the target play time point.
And 104, fast forwarding the current playing time point to the target playing time point.
After the target playing time point is determined, the current playing time point can be fast forwarded to the target playing time point, and the video is continuously played from the target playing time point, so that the video segments corresponding to the target fast forwarding time interval are automatically skipped over according to the fast forwarding habit of a user when the specified fast forwarding operation is detected, and the convenience of the video fast forwarding operation is further improved.
Further, in an optional embodiment of the present invention, the video playing method may further include:
when the first video is played, generating playing behavior data of the first video;
and adding the first video to a played video set corresponding to the account information.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when the first video is played to the end time point of the first video, or when the playing is exited after the ratio of the playing time length of the first video to the video time length of the first video is greater than the preset playing time length threshold, the video playing is considered to be ended.
When the first video is played, the number of fast forwarding times of the first video in the playing process and the time interval of each fast forwarding can be collected, and the number of fast forwarding times and the time interval of each fast forwarding time of the first video are sent to a server or stored locally in combination with account information and a video identifier of the first video, so as to update historical playing information corresponding to the account information, that is, update playing behavior data of a played video corresponding to the account information. Wherein the fast forwarding during the playing includes a designated fast forwarding operation and fast forwarding generated by a normal fast forwarding operation.
It should be noted that, before the first video is added to the played video set corresponding to the account information, if the playing behavior data corresponding to the first video already exists in the playing behavior data of the played video corresponding to the account information, the process of adding the first video to the played video set corresponding to the account information may cover the playing behavior data of the first video that originally exists, and the number of the played video is not changed; it is understood that the number of videos played is obtained by counting the number of different video identifications.
In an alternative embodiment, when a plurality of fast forward operations are detected and the time intervals of the plurality of fast forward operations are smaller than a first preset threshold, the plurality of fast forward operations may be merged to obtain a merged fast forward operation, and the fast forward time interval of the merged fast forward operation is equal to the difference between the ending time point corresponding to the last fast forward operation and the starting time point corresponding to the first fast forward operation.
Exemplarily, when the video is played for 10 minutes, the user drags the progress bar of the playing interface backwards, and the action of dragging the progress bar is ended at 15 minutes, which is recorded as a first fast forward operation, and at this time, the video playing time is skipped to 15 minutes; the user drags the progress bar of the playing interface backwards within a first preset threshold (for example, within 1 second) from the end of the action of dragging the progress bar, and the action of dragging the progress bar is ended at 17 minutes, and the process is recorded as a second fast forward operation. Since the time interval between the first fast forward operation and the second fast forward operation is smaller than the first preset threshold, the first fast forward operation and the second fast forward operation may be combined to obtain a combined fast forward operation having a start time point of 10 minutes, an end time point of 17 minutes, and a fast forward time interval of 7 minutes.
Illustratively, the user performs a first specified fast forward operation when the video is played for 10 minutes, such that the video play time jumps from 10 minutes to 15 minutes; the user performs a second designated fast forward operation within a first preset threshold (e.g., within 1 second) from the first designated fast forward operation such that the video play time jumps from 15 minutes to 20 minutes. Since the time interval between the first designated fast forward operation and the second designated fast forward operation is smaller than the first preset threshold, the first designated fast forward operation and the second designated fast forward operation may be combined to obtain a combined fast forward operation having a start time point of 10 minutes, an end time point of 20 minutes, and a fast forward time interval of 10 minutes.
Illustratively, the user performs a first (specified) fast forward operation when the video is played for 10 minutes, such that the video play time jumps from 10 minutes to 15 minutes; the user drags the progress bar of the playing interface backwards within a first preset threshold (for example, within 1 second) from the first (designated) fast forward operation, and the action of dragging the progress bar is finished at 17 minutes, and the process is recorded as a second fast forward operation. Since the time interval between the first (specified) fast forward operation and the second fast forward operation is smaller than the first preset threshold, the first (specified) fast forward operation and the second fast forward operation may be merged to obtain a merged fast forward operation having a start time point of 10 minutes, an end time point of 17 minutes, and a fast forward time interval of 7 minutes.
It should be noted that, when the video is not fast forwarded during playing, the process of generating the playing behavior data of the video, and sending the playing behavior data of the video, the account information, and the video identifier of the video to the server may not be performed.
In a video playing method provided by the embodiment of the present invention, in a first video playing process, in response to a specified fast forward operation for a first video, a current playing time point is determined, and a fast forward request is generated; the fast forward request comprises account information of a user; acquiring a target fast forward time interval corresponding to the account information according to the fast forward request; the target fast forward time interval is used for representing an average fast forward time interval corresponding to fast forward operation of a plurality of played videos watched by the user; determining a target playing time point according to the current playing time point and the target fast forward time interval; and fast forwarding the current playing time point to the target playing time point. The target fast forward time interval is related to the fast forward operation of the played video corresponding to the account information, so that the embodiment of the invention can accord with the habits of different users for watching the video, skip the video clip of the target fast forward time interval through single fast forward operation, does not need continuous pressing operation of the user, can realize more convenient and fast forward to the interested video clip, and further improves the video click playing amount and the user experience.
