An oil pump with a pressure regulating valve comprises a pump body and a regulating valve, wherein a low-pressure cavity, a high-pressure cavity and a valve hole are arranged on the pump body, a feedback oil hole is formed in the inner side section of the valve hole, an oil discharge hole is formed in the outer side section of the valve hole, and a low-pressure cavity connector and a high-pressure cavity connector are arranged on the side wall of the valve hole; the regulating valve comprises a plunger, a spring and a plug; the plunger comprises a disc part at the inner side end, a rod-shaped part in the middle and a cylindrical part at the outer side end, the outer peripheral surface of the disc part is provided with an annular groove, a radial through hole is arranged in the annular groove, and the rod-shaped part is provided with an axial through hole for communicating the radial through hole with the cavity of the cylindrical part; a transfer chamber is formed between the rod-shaped part and the side wall of the valve hole, a bulge is arranged at the end part of the disk part, so that a feedback cavity is formed between the disk part and the bottom surface of the valve hole, and the feedback cavity is close to the high-pressure cavity and is communicated with the main oil gallery through a feedback oil hole. Technical Field
The invention relates to a lubricating system of an internal combustion engine, in particular to an oil pump with a pressure regulating valve.
Background
The oil pump is an important component in a lubricating system, and has the function of providing sufficient pressure and flow for the lubricating system, the oil pressure must be ensured within a certain range to ensure that each friction piece is sufficiently lubricated and does not damage a related pressure-bearing piece, when the oil pressure of a main oil channel of the oil pump reaches the designed opening pressure, the pressure oil of a feedback oil channel enters a feedback cavity of a valve hole of a regulating valve to promote the regulating valve to move, and the oil in a high-pressure cavity is reduced to be discharged from an oil outlet, so that the oil pressure in the main oil channel is reduced, otherwise, the oil discharged from the oil outlet is increased when the regulating valve moves in the opposite direction, the oil pressure in the main oil channel is increased, and in the regulating process, the opening of the regulating valve is determined by the oil pressure of the feedback oil channel of the main oil channel.
In the conventional rotor type oil pump, since the feedback oil path of the main oil path is generally disposed at a side close to the high pressure chamber of the rotor, and the feedback oil hole for receiving the pressure oil of the feedback oil path is also disposed at a side close to the high pressure chamber, this design seems to simplify the structure, in fact, during the oil discharge process of the high pressure chamber of the rotor, a small amount of high pressure oil enters the feedback chamber through the gap between the valve hole of the pump body and the plunger of the regulating valve, and thus, the feedback chamber receives two pressure oils from the high pressure chamber and the main oil path, and in comparison, the pressure oil in the high pressure chamber fluctuates more than the pressure oil in the main oil path, and the pressure oil in the high pressure chamber reaches the feedback chamber earlier, so that when the oil pressure in the high pressure chamber is slightly higher, it is likely to interfere with the regulating oil pressure of the regulating valve, so that the regulating valve is opened in advance or improperly, thereby causing unstable oil pressure in the oil pump, Inaccurate adjustment.

In the above technical solution, since the outer peripheral surface of the disk portion 4a is provided with the annular groove 4a1, the annular groove 4a1 is provided with the radial through hole 4a2, and the rod portion 4b is provided with the axial through hole 4b1 for communicating the radial through hole 4a2 with the cavity of the cylinder portion 4c, so that the high-pressure oil permeating from the gap between the valve hole and the plunger 4 can be drained, the high-pressure oil is drained to the spring section of the valve hole and drained to the low-pressure cavity 2 of the oil pump through the oil drain hole, and thus the high-pressure oil in the high-pressure cavity 3 can be prevented from permeating into the feedback cavity 8 to interfere with the regulating valve, and the regulating valve only receives the feedback of the feedback oil from the main oil gallery, so that the oil pressure can be timely and accurately regulated, and the stability of the oil pressure of the oil pump can be ensured.
