Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present application, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
Virtual Reality technology (VR) is a computer simulation system that creates and experiences a Virtual world, using a computer to create a simulated environment into which a user is immersed. The virtual reality technology is to combine electronic signals generated by computer technology with data in real life to convert the electronic signals into phenomena which can be felt by people, wherein the phenomena can be true and true objects in reality or substances which can not be seen by the naked eyes, and the phenomena are expressed by a three-dimensional model.
Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that increases the user's perception of the real world through information provided by a computer system, which superimposes content objects such as computer-generated virtual objects, scenes, or system cues into the real scene to enhance or modify the perception of the real world environment or data representing the real world environment.
With the development of VR and AR technologies, head-mounted display devices (e.g., VR helmets, AR glasses, AR helmets, etc.) are increasing. In order to achieve the lightness of the head-mounted display device, the head-mounted display device is gradually developed into an external device from an integrated device. The integrated head-mounted display device has stronger processing capacity and can realize all processing in VR or AR display; the external head-mounted display device is connected with an external terminal, for example, a smart phone, and places main processing functions on the connected terminal, and the terminal processes data and transmits the processed data to the head-mounted display device for output.
In the research on the related head-mounted display device, the inventor finds that the image displayed by the related head-mounted display device can only be viewed by the wearer.
Therefore, after finding the above problems in research, the inventors have proposed an image content sharing method, an apparatus, and a head-mounted display device in the present application, which can improve the above problems. According to the image content sharing method, after a sharing request is sent in response to a sharing instruction, if the first head-mounted display device receives feedback information corresponding to the sharing request, a communication connection corresponding to a device (second head-mounted display device) sending the feedback information is triggered to be established, and then image content to be shared is sent to the second head-mounted display device through the communication connection.
Therefore, the first head-mounted display device can play the image content to be shared by the first head-mounted display device, and the image content to be shared can be sent to the second head-mounted display device to be played after the second head-mounted display device agrees with the sharing request triggered by the first head-mounted display device, so that users except the first head-mounted display device can also see the image content played by the first head-mounted display device. Embodiments of the present application will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The following describes a scene related to an image content sharing method according to an embodiment of the present application with reference to the content shown in fig. 1.
In the scenario shown in FIG. 1, a first user wears a head mounted display device 100 and a second user wears a head mounted display device 200. The head-mounted display device 100 and the head-mounted display device 200 may perform communication interaction, so that the head-mounted display device 100 may send information to the head-mounted display device 200, for example, may send a sharing request. The head-mounted display device 200 may also feed back information to the head-mounted display device 100, for example, send feedback information corresponding to the received sharing request. Furthermore, in one mode, the head-mounted display device 100 may establish a communication connection with the head-mounted display device 200 after receiving the feedback information sent by the head-mounted display device 200, so as to send the image content to the head-mounted display device 200 through the communication connection. For example, the image content to be shared is sent.
Furthermore, in one mode, the image content played by the head-mounted display device 100 is the image content transmitted by the external device. For example, the host device 300 may be used as an image source of the head-mounted display device 100, so that the host device 300 can transmit image content to the head-mounted display device 100 in real time, and the head-mounted display device 100 can display the image content transmitted by the host device 300 in real time. Correspondingly, the head-mounted display device 200 may also correspond to a host device (not shown) of its own.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, the head-mounted display device 100 and the head-mounted display device 200 may send a sharing request based on multiple communication manners, or send feedback information corresponding to the sharing request. For example, as one mode, the head-mounted display device 100 may transmit the sharing request by means of infrared communication. Correspondingly, the head-mounted display device 200 may also correspondingly send feedback information corresponding to the sharing request in an infrared communication manner. Further, as another way, the head-mounted display device 100 may send the sharing request by means of bluetooth broadcast. The head-mounted display device 200 may also correspondingly send feedback information corresponding to the sharing request in a bluetooth broadcast manner.
Accordingly, a communication connection for transmitting content may be established between the head mounted display device 100 and the head mounted display device 200 based on a plurality of communication methods. For example, the communication connection for transmitting the content may be established based on WiFi communication, and may also be established based on bluetooth communication.
Here, the first head-mounted display device in the subsequent embodiments may be the aforementioned head-mounted display device 100, and the second head-mounted display device may be the aforementioned head-mounted display device 200.
Referring to fig. 2, an image content sharing method provided in an embodiment of the present application is applied to a first head-mounted display device, and the method includes:
s110: and sending a sharing request in response to the sharing instruction.
In the embodiment of the application, the sharing instruction is an instruction for triggering subsequent image content sharing. In addition, in the embodiment of the present application, there may be a plurality of ways of generating the sharing instruction.
As one mode, the first head-mounted display device may generate the sharing instruction in response to a touch operation applied to a physical key. It should be noted that in this manner, optionally, a physical key dedicated to triggering generation of the sharing instruction may be provided on the first head-mounted display device. Thereby, when the first head-mounted display device detects that the touch operation is acted on the physical key specially triggering the generation of the sharing instruction, the sharing instruction is generated. Therefore, the user can operate the first head-mounted display device to realize one-key triggering image content sharing in the mode. Optionally, when the first head-mounted display device does not have a physical key specially used for triggering generation of the sharing instruction, the generation of the sharing instruction may be triggered by performing function multiplexing on other physical keys. For example, if the first head-mounted display device has a first physical key with a first function and a second physical key with a second function, it may be configured to determine to generate the sharing instruction when touch operations applied to the first physical key and the second physical key are detected simultaneously.
Alternatively, the first head-mounted display device may generate the sharing instruction in response to a touch operation applied to a virtual key. In this manner, the first head-mounted display device may be provided with a display screen in which a virtual key for generating the sharing instruction may be displayed. Therefore, when the first head-mounted display device detects that the touch operation is acted on the virtual key specially triggering the generation of the sharing instruction, the sharing instruction is generated. Therefore, the user can operate the first head-mounted display device to realize one-key triggering image content sharing in the mode. In this way, the display screen can be used to display different content in different scenes. Correspondingly, the virtual key for specifically triggering generation of the sharing instruction may start to be displayed when the first head-mounted display device starts to display the image content. For example, if the first head mounted display device is AR glasses. Then the AR glasses may start displaying the virtual key specifically triggering generation of the sharing instruction in a display screen of the AR glasses (the display screen is not used for displaying the AR virtual image) when starting displaying the AR virtual image.
The first head-mounted display device may send a sharing request after detecting that the sharing instruction is generated. Optionally, in this embodiment of the application, the first head-mounted display device may have multiple ways of sending a sharing request.
As one way, the first head-mounted display device may send the sharing request based on infrared communication. In this way, the first head-mounted display device may characterize the sharing request by using a specific infrared code, so that the device receiving the specific infrared code may determine that the device receiving the specific infrared code is the sharing request by using an infrared code recognition method.
Alternatively, the first head-mounted display apparatus may transmit the sharing request based on a bluetooth broadcast. In this manner, the first head-mounted display device may carry a specific identifier in the broadcast data to be transmitted, and the specific identifier is used for the device receiving the broadcast data to recognize that the received broadcast data represents the sharing request transmitted by the transmitting device.
It should be noted that different transmission characteristics may be used for different communication modes, and different transmission characteristics may have different adaptive scenarios. In order to enable the sharing request sent by the first head-mounted display device to be responded more quickly, or enable the sent sharing request to be successfully received by other devices with a greater probability, the first head-mounted display device may send the sharing request based on multiple communication manners at the same time. For example, in a case where the first head-mounted display device supports both the infrared communication and the bluetooth communication, the first head-mounted display device may transmit the sharing request based on both the infrared communication mode and the bluetooth broadcast mode.
S120: and if the first head-mounted display device receives feedback information corresponding to the sharing request, triggering to establish a communication connection corresponding to a second head-mounted display device, wherein the second head-mounted display device is a device for sending the feedback information, and the communication connection is used for transmitting content to the second head-mounted display device.
After the first head-mounted display device sends the sharing request, whether feedback information corresponding to the sharing request is received or not can be detected. It should be noted that, the first head-mounted display device may detect whether feedback information corresponding to the sharing request is received according to a communication manner in which the sharing request is sent. If the first head-mounted display device is a sharing request sent by means of infrared communication, the first head-mounted display device may also determine whether feedback information corresponding to the sharing request is received by detecting a received signal sent by means of infrared communication. Correspondingly, if the first head-mounted display device is a sharing request sent by means of bluetooth communication, the first head-mounted display device may also determine whether feedback information corresponding to the sharing request is received by detecting the received broadcast data sent by means of bluetooth communication.
In this embodiment, the feedback information corresponding to the sharing request may be understood as information indicating that the second head-mounted display device receiving the sharing request agrees to share the content. Then, after receiving the feedback information corresponding to the sharing request, the first head-mounted display device may trigger establishment of a communication connection corresponding to the second head-mounted display device, so that content transmission may be subsequently performed to the second head-mounted display device through the communication connection.
S130: and sending the image content to be shared to the second head-mounted display equipment through the communication connection.
In the embodiment of the present application, there may be multiple ways to determine the image content to be shared.
As one way, image content that has been historically played by the first head-mounted display apparatus may be taken as image content to be shared. It should be noted that, when the user wearing the display device wants to share the image content that he or she has seen with other users, the image content that the user has seen before may be used as the image content that has been played in history. In the embodiment of the present application, there may be various ways of determining the image content that has been played historically.
As a way of determining the image content that has been historically played, the first head-mounted display device may take, as the image content that has been historically played, the image content that has been played from the time at which the image content starts to be played to the time at which the sharing instruction is generated. For example, if the first head-mounted display device starts playing the image content at time t1 and the first head-mounted display device generates the sharing instruction at time t2, the image content played between time t1 and time t2 is regarded as the image content played in history.
As another way of determining the image content played historically, the first head-mounted display device may take the image content played between the first marked time and the second marked time as the image content played historically. The first marking time and the second marking time are both times before the current time. The time before the current time can be understood as being all earlier than the current time. As one way, in a case where the first head-mounted display apparatus is provided with a key for triggering generation of the sharing instruction. If the touch operation acting on the key is detected, whether a first mark time is generated or not is detected, and if the first mark time is not generated, the time when the touch operation acting on the key is detected is taken as the first mark time. And if the first marking time is generated, taking the time when the touch operation acting on the key is detected as the second marking time, and simultaneously generating a sharing instruction so as to take the image content played between the first marking time and the second marking time as the image content played in history.
As another way, the image content to be displayed by the first head-mounted display apparatus may be taken as the image content to be shared. It should be noted that, in the process of playing the image content, if it is detected that the sharing instruction is generated, the first head-mounted display device takes the image content to be played after the time when the sharing instruction is generated as the image content to be displayed. For example, if the first head-mounted display device detects that the sharing instruction is generated at time t3, the image content played after time t3 is used as the image content to be shared. Therefore, the image content to be played by the first head-mounted display device can be synchronously transmitted to the second head-mounted display device for playing in such a way, and the second head-mounted display device can play the same image content as the first head-mounted display device in real time.
It should be noted that, in the case that there are multiple ways to determine the image content to be shared, in order to enable the first head-mounted display device to support the multiple ways at the same time, the image content to be shared may be determined in different ways by configuring different touch operations.
As one way, the first head-mounted display device is configured with a key dedicated to triggering generation of the sharing instruction. And if the touch control operation acting on the key is detected to be the first operation, starting to detect whether the first identification time is generated currently, and if the first marking time is not generated, taking the first operation time detected to act on the key as the first marking time. And if the first marking time is generated, taking the time when the first operation acting on the key is detected as the second marking time, taking the image content played between the first marking time and the second marking time as the image content played in history, and further taking the image content played in history as the image content to be shared and transmitting the image content played in history to the second head-mounted display equipment.
If the touch operation acting on the key is detected as the second operation, the sharing instruction is directly generated, and the image content to be played by the first head-mounted display device after the moment of the second operation is detected is used as the image content to be shared.
The first operation may be a touch operation in which the pressing duration satisfies a duration threshold, or may be a touch operation in which the pressing area satisfies an area threshold. The second operation may be a click operation.
Therefore, by means of the manner of classifying the touch operation into the first operation and the second operation, the user can flexibly and conveniently select which image contents are specifically shared under the condition that the user cannot see the touch position.
In the image content sharing method provided in this embodiment, after sending a sharing request in response to a sharing instruction, if the first head-mounted display device receives feedback information corresponding to the sharing request, a communication connection corresponding to a device (a second head-mounted display device) that sends the feedback information is triggered to be established, and then, the image content to be shared is sent to the second head-mounted display device through the communication connection.
Referring to fig. 3, an image content sharing method provided in an embodiment of the present application is applied to a first head-mounted display device, and the method includes:
s210: and sending a sharing request in response to the sharing instruction.
S220: if the first head-mounted display device receives feedback information corresponding to the sharing request, triggering a first host device to establish a communication connection with a second head-mounted display device, wherein the first host device is a device for providing an image source for the first head-mounted display device, the second head-mounted display device is a device for sending the feedback information, and the communication connection is used for transmitting content to the second head-mounted display device.
In this embodiment, the image content played by the first head mounted display device is the image content transmitted by the first host device. For example, the first host device may be a smart phone, the first head-mounted display device may be AR glasses, and then after the smart phone establishes communication connection with the AR glasses, the smart phone may transmit image content suitable for the AR glasses to the AR glasses, so that the AR glasses play.
Correspondingly, in this embodiment, in order to facilitate the transmission of the image content to the second head-mounted display device, the first head-mounted display device may trigger the first host device to establish a communication connection with the second head-mounted display device.
It should be noted that a communication method based on which the first host device and the second head-mounted display device establish the communication connection may be different from the aforementioned communication method based on which the sharing request and the feedback information are sent. For example, the first head-mounted display device may send the sharing request based on an infrared communication manner, and correspondingly, the second head-mounted display device may also send the feedback information based on an infrared communication manner. After the first head-mounted display device receives the feedback information sent by the second head-mounted display device, the first head-mounted display device may trigger the first host device to establish a communication connection for transmitting image content with the second head-mounted display device based on a bluetooth communication or WiFi communication manner.
Optionally, in a case that the second head mounted display device supports establishment of a communication connection based on multiple manners, the second head mounted display device may send the feedback information and also send a currently supported communication connection establishment manner. Therefore, the first head-mounted display equipment can flexibly trigger the first host equipment to establish the communication connection with the second head-mounted display equipment according to the communication connection establishment mode supported by the second head-mounted display equipment.
The sending of the feedback information and the currently supported communication connection establishing manner at the same time may be understood as sending the feedback information and the currently supported communication connection establishing manner to the first head-mounted display device together through one-time communication, so that the first head-mounted display device may obtain the feedback information and the communication connection establishing manner supported by the second head-mounted display device from the received data (data sent by the second head-mounted display device) at the same time. For example, if the second head-mounted display device supports establishing a communication connection based on bluetooth communication, the first host device establishes a communication connection with the second head-mounted display device based on bluetooth communication. If the second head-mounted display device supports the establishment of the communication connection based on the WiFi communication mode, the first host device establishes the communication connection with the second head-mounted display device based on the WiFi communication mode.
S230: and triggering the first host device to send the image content to be shared to the second head-mounted display device through the communication connection.
As a mode, if the first head-mounted display device receives the feedback information corresponding to the sharing request, after triggering to establish a communication connection corresponding to the second head-mounted display device, the method further includes: the first head mounted display device disconnects communication with the first host device.
It should be noted that, in some cases, if the first host device is communicatively connected to both the first head-mounted display device and the second head-mounted display device, a large power consumption may be caused to the first host device, and the quality of image content transmission from the first host device to the second head-mounted display device may also be affected. After the first host device and the second head-mounted display device are in communication connection, the first head-mounted display device is disconnected from the first host device, so that the cruising ability of the first host device is maintained, and the image content can be stably transmitted from the first host device to the second head-mounted display device.
Furthermore, the first host device may also determine whether to disconnect the communication connection with the first host device according to the current actual situation.
As one approach, whether to disconnect the communication connection between the first host device and the first head mounted display device may be determined based on the current amount of power of the first host device. Optionally, the first host device may periodically transmit the electric quantity of the first host device to the first head-mounted display device in the process of transmitting the image content to the first head-mounted display device, so that after the first head-mounted display device triggers the first host device to establish a communication connection with the second head-mounted display device, the first head-mounted display device may obtain the current latest electric quantity information of the first host device, and if it is determined that the current electric quantity of the first host device is equal to the electric quantity threshold, the first head-mounted display device determines to disconnect the communication connection with the first host device.
As one way, whether to disconnect and whether to disconnect the communication connection between the first host device and the first head mounted display device may be determined based on image content currently transmitted by the first host device. It should be noted that, for some image contents, it may be that the user of the first head-mounted display device wants to perform synchronous viewing through the first head-mounted display device during the process of viewing by the user sharing the second head-mounted display device. And for other image content, it may be viewable by the user of the second head mounted display device.
The first head-mounted display device may identify the type of the image content transmitted by the first host device after triggering the first host device to establish a communication connection with the second head-mounted display device, and if the type of the image content is the first type, trigger the first head-mounted display device to disconnect the communication connection with the first host device. If the first type is the second type, the first head-mounted display device maintains the communication connection with the first host device. The first type is a type that the representation image content can be watched by the user of the second head-mounted display device, and the second type is a type that the representation image content can be watched by the user of the second head-mounted display device and the user of the first head-mounted display device together.
