Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of sterilization and disinfection, in particular to an ultraviolet sterilization and disinfection module and washing equipment with the same.
Background
Ultraviolet sterilization generally refers to the use of short wave ultraviolet (abbreviated as "UVC") to destroy the molecular structure of DNA (i.e., "deoxyribonucleic acid") or RNA (i.e., "ribonucleic acid") in microbial cells, resulting in the death of growing cells and/or regenerative cells, thereby achieving the purpose of sterilization. Such ultraviolet sterilization and disinfection techniques have been widely used in the prior art. For example, some washing apparatuses, including but not limited to drum washing machines and pulsator washing machines, have incorporated ultraviolet sterilization techniques that irradiate a washing water stream within the washing apparatus with UVC to kill bacteria and/or viruses in the water stream and on the laundry. However, such ultraviolet rays irradiated onto the washing apparatus directly cause the deterioration of various parts of the washing apparatus. Therefore, the frequent use of the ultraviolet sterilization function greatly reduces the service life of the washing apparatus.
Accordingly, there is a need in the art for a new solution to the above problems.

In order to solve the technical problem that ultraviolet sterilization causes the aging of equipment parts using the ultraviolet sterilization module, the ultraviolet sterilization module is provided. This ultraviolet sterilization disinfection module includes: a base 11, the base 11 being configured to be attachable to a predetermined target location; a lamp holder 12, the lamp holder 12 protruding outward from the base 11; a wick 13, the wick 13 being capable of being disposed in the lamp holder 12 and generating short-wave ultraviolet light 131; and a globe 14, the globe 14 covering the lamp holders 12 to enclose the mantles 13 in the closed space, and the globe 14 being movably fixed to the lamp holders 12 such that the globe 14 is movable with respect to the lamp holders 12 along a central axis C1 of the mantles 13 to approach or separate from the mantles 13, a bottom 14a of the globe 14 facing the mantles 13 being provided with a transparent cover 141 to allow the short-wavelength ultraviolet rays 131 to be externally irradiated to a target object through the transparent cover 141.
The predetermined target location referred to herein may be any location suitable for use with the uv sterilization disinfection module of the present invention, such as a suitable location on any suitable device or apparatus for sterilization using uv light. In one or more embodiments, the predetermined target location may be a suitable location on the washing appliance, for example, the ultraviolet germicidal sterilization module may be attached to a lid of the washing appliance covering the washing tub.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view and fig. 2 is a plan view of an embodiment of the uv sterilization/disinfection module of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the ultraviolet sterilization module includes a base 11, a lamp holder 12, a lamp wick 13 and a lampshade 14.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the base 11 has a base body 111. In one or more embodiments, the base body 111 is a plate-like structure. A first connection portion 112a and a second connection portion 112b are formed on opposite sides of the base body 111, respectively. The first and second connection portions 112a and 112b protrude outward from the base body 111 perpendicularly or non-perpendicularly to form bosses. Alternatively, the first connection portion 112a and the second connection portion 112b are symmetrical to each other with respect to the center of the base body 111. A first through hole 113a extending substantially vertically through the first connection portion 112a and the base body 111 is provided on the first connection portion 112a, and a second through hole extending substantially vertically through the second connection portion 112b and the base body 111 is provided on the second connection portion 112 b. The base 11 can be fixed to a predetermined target position, for example, a cover of the washing tub, through the first and second coupling portions 112a and 112b by screws or bolts passing through the first and second through holes 113a and 113 b. Alternatively, less than two or more than two connecting portions may be provided on the base body 111, and the base 11 may be fixed to a predetermined position by means other than a screw connection, such as a snap connection, a welding connection, or the like.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, in one or more embodiments, the lamp holder 12 has a cylindrical structure and extends perpendicularly outward from one side surface of the base body 111 around the center of the base body 111. Alternatively, the lamp holder 12 may take a cylindrical shape or a non-cylindrical shape, for example, a cylindrical structure having a partially hollow conical shape. Alternatively, the lamp holder 12 may protrude from the base body 111 non-perpendicularly, such as extending obliquely outward from the base body 111, depending on the requirements of the actual application. In one or more embodiments, range markings identifying different ranges of short wavelength ultraviolet radiation may be provided on the outer peripheral surface of the lamp holder 12. For example, range scales representing 5 different ultraviolet irradiation ranges may be provided on the outer circumferential surface of the lamp holder 12: 1. 2, 3, 4 and 5. For example, the range scale "1" may represent the minimum ultraviolet irradiation range, and "5" may represent the maximum ultraviolet irradiation range.
As shown in fig. 1, the mantles 13 are positioned at the center of the lamp holders 12, and thus, the lamp holders 12 surround the mantles 13. The lamp wick 13 is a lamp tube or an LED (i.e., "light emitting diode") lamp that can emit short-wave ultraviolet rays. In one or more embodiments, the power of the wick 13 is adjustable to emit short wavelength ultraviolet light of suitable intensity, as desired.
With continued reference to fig. 1 and 2, the globe 14 may cover the light holders 12 to enclose the mantles 13 in an enclosed space. In one or more embodiments, the globe 14 is removably attached to the lamp holder 12 via the threaded structure 14 b. For example, an internal thread is formed in the lamp housing 14, and an external thread engageable with the internal thread is formed on the lamp holder 12. The globe 14 is thus spirally rotatable on the lamp holders 12 around the lamp holders 12 so as to move closer to or farther from the mantles 13 along the central axis C1 of the mantles 13. Alternatively, the globe 14 may be movably coupled to the lamp holder 12 in other manners, such as by relative sliding movement. In one or more embodiments, markings, such as arrows 142 or other suitable forms, indicating various movement positions of the lamp enclosure may be provided on the outer peripheral surface of the lamp enclosure 14. By moving the globe 14 relative to the lamp holder 12, the arrow 142 may point to any of all of the range scales "1, 2, 3, 4, 5" on the lamp holder 12 and indicate that the globe 14 has moved to a position corresponding to the range scale.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the globe 14 has a bottom 14a (see fig. 2) facing the mantles 13. A transparent cover 141 is provided on the bottom 14 a. In one or more embodiments, the transparent cover 141 is substantially perpendicular to the central axis C1 of the wick 13. The short-wave ultraviolet rays 131 (see fig. 4) emitted from the wick 13 can be radiated outward through the transparent cover 141. Alternatively, the transparent cover 141 is made of a material resistant to ultraviolet rays, such as a quartz material. When the globe 14 moves closer to or farther from the mantles 13 with respect to the lamp holders 12, the transparent cover 141 is also moved closer to or farther from the mantles 13. The closer the transparent cover 141 is to the wick 13, the larger the irradiation range of the short-wave ultraviolet rays emitted from the wick 13 through the transparent cover 141. Conversely, the farther the transparent cover 141 is away from the wick 13, the smaller the irradiation range of the short-wave ultraviolet rays emitted from the wick 13 through the transparent cover 141. In one or more embodiments, the irradiation range of the short-wave ultraviolet rays transmitted through the transparent cover 141 is adjustable, and the irradiation intensity of the short-wave ultraviolet rays is also adjustable by adjusting the power of the lamp wick 13, so that the ultraviolet sterilization module can avoid or mitigate the aging phenomenon of the ultraviolet rays on the relevant equipment on the basis of achieving the sterilization and disinfection purpose, and reduce the energy consumption.
Fig. 3 is a perspective view of an embodiment of a washing apparatus of the present invention incorporating an ultraviolet germicidal sterilization module of the present invention, and fig. 4 is a plan view of an embodiment of a washing apparatus of the present invention incorporating an ultraviolet germicidal sterilization module of the present invention. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, in one or more embodiments, washing apparatus 2 is a pulsator washing machine. Alternatively, the washing apparatus may also be a drum washing machine or other suitable washing device. Referring to fig. 3, the pulsator washing machine includes a cabinet 21, a tray 22 disposed at a top end of the cabinet 21, a control panel 23 and a cover 26 fixed to the tray 22, an outer tub 24 disposed in the cabinet 21, and a washing tub 25 disposed in the outer tub 24. The washing tub 25 is rotatable about a central axis C2 within the outer tub 24. The cover 26 may cover an upper opening of the washing tub 25. On the side of the cover 26 facing the washing tub 25, the ultraviolet sterilizing module 1 of the present invention is fixed. The uv sterilisation and disinfection module 1 is fixed to the cover 26 by means of the base 11, for example by means of screw connections.
As shown in fig. 4, when the cover 26 covers the washing tub 25, the central axis C1 of the uv sterilization module 1 (i.e., the central axis of the wick 13) coincides with, i.e., is aligned with, the central axis C2 of the washing tub 25. The irradiation range of the short-wave ultraviolet rays in the washing tub 25 can be adjusted by the movement of the lamp cover 14 relative to the lamp holder 12. In one or more embodiments, a plurality of water level scales 251 indicating different water level heights are provided in the washing tub 25, including, for example, 5 water level scales: 1. 2, 3, 4 and 5. As shown in fig. 4, the water level scale "1" represents the lowest water level scale, and the water level scale "5" represents the highest water level scale. These water level scales can respectively correspond to the ultraviolet irradiation range scales on the ultraviolet sterilization module 1 one by one. For example, when the washing water level in the washing tub 25 reaches the water level scale "1", the lamp housing 14 may be moved to a position corresponding to the range scale "1" with respect to the lamp holder 12 so that the irradiation range of the short wave ultraviolet rays 131 just covers the washing water level at the water level scale "1" and does not irradiate the washing tub 25 located above the washing water level. When the washing water level in the washing tub 25 reaches the water level scale "2", the lamp housing 14 can be moved to a position corresponding to the range scale "2" with respect to the lamp holder 12. By analogy, when the washing water level in the washing tub 25 reaches the water level scale "5", the lamp housing 14 can be moved to the position corresponding to the range scale "5" with respect to the lamp holder 12. As the level of the washing water rises, i.e., becomes closer to the ultraviolet sterilization/disinfection module 1, the irradiation range of the short-wave ultraviolet rays needs to be increased accordingly. This can prevent ultraviolet rays from being directly irradiated to the washing tub 25 and other parts to cause deterioration, and thus can improve the life of the washing apparatus.
So far, the technical solutions of the present invention have been described in connection with the preferred embodiments shown in the drawings, but it is easily understood by those skilled in the art that the scope of the present invention is obviously not limited to these specific embodiments. Without departing from the principle of the invention, a person skilled in the art may combine technical features from different embodiments, and may make equivalent changes or substitutions to the related technical features, and the technical solutions after these changes or substitutions will fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
