In order to improve the adhesion of the coating to the metal substrate, the metal is typically subjected to surface pretreatment including rust removal, oil removal, and primer application. The traditional derusting method adopts sand paper for polishing, and the surface roughness is uneven due to the mode. The degreasing is to clean the surface of the base material by using an organic solvent, remove oil stains and impurities, and coat a primer after the surface is dried. The more common primer application methods include brushing and dipping. The brushing operation is manual, the production efficiency is low, the labor intensity is high, and brushing marks are easy to leave and the phenomenon of uneven film thickness is caused for the primer which has fast volatilization and poor leveling property. The dip coating causes uneven thickness of the coating film at the upper and lower parts of the bonding position on the metal surface, large volatilization amount of the solvent, easy environmental pollution and large loss rate of the coating. The action mechanism of the primer is that the active component absorbs moisture in the atmosphere, hydrolyzes to generate an active group, forms a covalent bond with a functional group on the surface of the metal and also can form a chemical bond with a polymer in the coating, thereby forming good bonding between the coating and the metal. Therefore, the environmental humidity has a significant influence on the use effect of the primer. The traditional method is to cure the primer in the atmospheric environment, and because the environmental humidity is greatly influenced by weather, the effect of the primer is uncontrollable due to humidity change, and errors are easy to occur in performance test. The whole metal surface pretreatment process is carried out separately, the efficiency is low, and time and labor are wasted.
