Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of animal tests, in particular to close-range feeding environment simulation equipment for mammals.
Background
Myopia is one of the refractive errors. When the eye is in a relaxed state of accommodation, parallel rays of light enter the eye, which focus in front of the retina, resulting in the inability to form a sharp image on the retina, known as myopic eyes (mypia). At this point, the examination prescription will indicate the amount of myopia, typically called 50 degrees myopia, recorded as "-0.50D".
In recent years, the incidence rate of myopia in China is on a remarkable rising trend, and myopia has become a great public health problem affecting the eye health of the national people, particularly teenagers. The most common ophthalmic diseases are listed as one of three diseases in the world, and the incidence rate of myopia in the population of China is about 33 percent and is 1.5 times of the average level of the world (accounting for 22 percent of the total population).
The causes of myopia development are not completely understood at present, and most scholars consider myopia to be associated with a variety of factors, including genetic factors, environmental factors, poor eye habits, and the like. The occurrence mechanism of the myopia is understood, and the myopia can be better prevented and controlled, so that people in all fields are dedicated to research by inducing various animals to generate the myopia. However, it is known that higher animals closer to humans are more difficult to keep and study at close distances, and most previous studies on the mechanism of myopia occurrence have been conducted using chickens, mice, or rabbits. These animals are far from human and the test results are far more meaningful than for smaller mammals, closer to humans.
Therefore, there is a need for a simulation device for close-range feeding environment of mammals, which is used to study the myopia occurrence mechanism of mammals.
