Abstract

The invention discloses a preparation method and application of galangal seed flower essential oil, and belongs to the field of cosmetics. Taking the galangal flower, adding a proper amount of ultrapure water, distilling and extracting for 4 hours by using steam, collecting distillate, separating liquid, and drying by using anhydrous sodium sulfate to obtain the galangal flower essential oil. The galangal seed flower essential oil is prepared into cosmetics including emulsions, creams, masks, sprays, essences, essential oils and soaps according to the addition amount of 0.01-100%. The research of the invention finds that the natural plant essential oil distilled and extracted from the red cardamom flower has the activity of obviously inhibiting staphylococcus aureus, candida albicans, trichophyton rubrum, epidermophyton floccosum and microsporum gypseum, and the activity of tyrosinase is obviously inhibited, and particularly shows the antioxidant activity superior to that of the rose essential oil in DPPH, ABTS and FRAP experiments. The galangal flower essential oil is used for preparing cosmetics such as emulsions, creams, masks, sprays, essences, essential oils and soaps, and has remarkable antibacterial, whitening and antioxidant effects.

(1) Antibacterial experiments
Taking a culture plate with 96 holes, and culturing,diluting the sample to be tested, adding bacterial liquid into each hole, and obtaining the final concentration of 5 multiplied by 105CFU/mL; culturing at 37 deg.C for 24 hr, and detecting light absorption value at 625nm with microplate reader. (1) DPPH radical scavenging test

Before use, the extract is diluted with anhydrous ethanol until the absorbance value is 0.70 +/-0.02 at 732 nm.
