An adjustable automatic chain breaking mechanism of a scraper conveyor and a using method thereof are disclosed, wherein the automatic chain breaking mechanism comprises a chain breaking triggering component and a chain breaking position positioning component; the chain breakage triggering assembly comprises a chain breakage triggering deflector rod, a C-shaped switching vertical ring, a chain breakage triggering side vertical ring, a chain breakage disconnection side transverse ring and a chain breakage disconnection side vertical ring; the broken chain position positioning assembly comprises a broken chain position positioning base, a positioning support upright rod, a positioning support cross rod and a broken chain trigger baffle.
