Detailed Description
Embodiments of a cash preparing method and a cash preparing system according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. First, an outline of a cash preparing method and a cash preparing system according to the present invention will be described. The cash preparation system includes a management device and a cash processing device. The management device acquires and manages reservation information of cash received by a customer at a store. The cash processing device withdraws cash based on the reservation information acquired by the management device. For example, the cash handling apparatus can easily prepare cash required by stores by collecting cash dispensed by customers and loading the cash into storage containers transported to the stores.
The reservation information acquired by the management apparatus includes customer information specifying a customer, cash information specifying a type and an amount of cash desired by the customer, and store information specifying a store from which the customer receives the cash. The management apparatus can acquire reservation information directly from a customer or from a store. The management device aggregates information of cash received by a plurality of customers in the branch store based on the acquired reservation information. The management device can control the cash processing device based on the type and amount of cash delivered to the store. For example, the management device can change the setting of the cash processing device. Further, for example, the management device can dispense cash delivered to a store from the cash handling device.
The cash processing device withdraws cash delivered to the store based on the information managed by the management device. The cash processing device can dispense cash distributed to a plurality of stores by branch stores. Further, the cash processing device can dispense cash dispensed from the branch store to the customer. Specifically, the cash processing device withdraws cash reserved by 1 customer in 1 withdrawal process. The cash processing device repeats the dispensing process of the branch customer, and executes the reporting process of reporting the cash dispensed to the 1 store when the dispensing process is finished. The cash processing device starts a dispensing process of dispensing cash dispensed to a customer in a next store after executing the report process.
The person in charge of preparing cash collects cash dispensed by customers of the cash processing device and loads the cash into separate storage containers. In this manner, a storage container in which cash reserved by each customer is stored is prepared. The cash processing device dispenses cash from a store. The person in charge can collect the containers filled with cash by collecting the containers in the order of dispensing.
For example, a bag or an envelope is used as the storage container. The storage container is managed by giving management information. The management information includes information on stores from which customers have received cash. This allows the person in charge to easily distinguish the storage containers from each other in the store. The management information includes customer information of a customer who receives cash from the storage container. This makes it possible for a clerk who is in contact with a customer at a store to easily deliver cash in the storage container to each customer. The management information includes cash information of cash stored in the storage container, that is, cash reserved by the customer. This makes it easy for the customer and the clerk who is in contact with the customer to confirm that the cash in the storage container matches the cash reserved by the customer.
The method of providing the management information to the storage container is not particularly limited. For example, the management device may control the printer to directly print the management information on the storage container. For example, the management device may control the printer to print management information on a sheet of paper, and the person in charge may fix or attach the sheet of paper to the storage container.
The stores that require the delivery of cash include retail stores and financial institution stores. The cash preparation system is used for preparing domestic and foreign currencies for distribution to stores. The prepared money includes at least one of banknotes and coins. Hereinafter, a cash preparing system will be specifically described with reference to an example of preparing banknotes of foreign currency to be delivered to a store of a bank. Note that the store in the present embodiment is a store located in china, and the domestic currency is chinese currency.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram for explaining a cash preparation system according to the present embodiment. The cash preparation system includes a management device 100 provided in the cash center 1 and a plurality of cash processing devices 200(200a, 200 b). The cash center 1 is a collection and distribution place where cash is prepared to be distributed to stores 2(2a, 2b) of a plurality of banks.
As shown in fig. 1, after the end of business of the stores 2, the cash escort company 40 collects cash from each store 2 and transports the cash to the cash center 1. The management apparatus 100 acquires information of cash collected from each store 2 as deposit information. For example, the management apparatus 100 acquires deposit information from an apparatus that manages cash in each store 2 via a network. In the cash center 1, cash collected from each store 2 is recognized and counted by the cash handling device 200. The management apparatus 100 confirms that the recognition count result of the cash collected from each store 2 matches the deposit information acquired from each store 2. When the amount of the collected cash does not match the amount of money included in the deposit information, the management apparatus 100 reports the amount of the collected cash to a predetermined administrator. The manager receiving the report investigates the cause of the inconsistency.
The management apparatus 100 acquires reservation information of foreign currency received by the customer at each store 2. The reservation information includes customer information, cash information, and store information. The management apparatus 100 can acquire reservation information directly from a customer or can acquire reservation information from the store 2.
The cash information includes the type (currency and denomination) of foreign currency that the customer has reserved to collect at the store 2, and the amount (number of denominations and/or amount) of the foreign currency. The cash information includes the exchange rate between the foreign currency and the domestic currency, and the amount of the domestic currency required by the customer when the customer reserves the foreign currency for the store 2.
The management apparatus 100 collects and manages the types and amounts of foreign currencies received by a plurality of customers at each store 2, based on reservation information acquired from the customers and the stores 2. The management apparatus 100 dispenses cash from a branch store of the cash processing apparatus 200. The management apparatus 100 also dispenses cash from the cash handling apparatus 200 to the customer.
The person in charge of preparing cash loads foreign currencies 32(32a, 32b) dispensed from the cash processing device 200 into the storage containers 31(31a, 31b) to which the management information 33(33a, 33b) is given, and creates cash packs 30(30a, 30 b). Cash reserved by 1 customer is loaded into 1 storage container 31.
As shown in fig. 1, the management apparatus 100 prepares foreign money to be distributed to each store 2 by using a plurality of cash handling apparatuses 200. For example, 1 foreign currency is dispensed to 1 cash handling device 200. The person in charge prepares a bundle 30a of japanese banknotes by using the cash handling apparatus 200a that handles japanese currency, and prepares a bundle 30a of american banknotes by using the cash handling apparatus 200b that handles american currency. In this manner, a plurality of cash packages 30 containing foreign currencies of each country are prepared in the cash center 1.
The cash processing device 200 dispenses cash from each store, and when the dispensing for 1 store 2 is completed, reports it to the person in charge. The person in charge who receives the report discriminates and manages the cash packages 30 containing the cash 32. As a result, the cash packages 30 of japanese currency prepared by the individual customers by the cash processing device 200a are collected by the branch stores, and the cash packages 30 prepared by the individual customers by the cash processing device 200b are collected by the branch stores.
The person in charge collects the cash packages 30 delivered to the same store 2 based on the management information 33 given to the cash packages 30. For example, the person in charge collects the cash packages 30 of japanese currency and the cash packages 30 of american currency that are distributed to the same store 2. In this manner, the cash pack 30 is prepared in which cash dispensed to the store 2 is packed by the branch customers.
The cash packages 30 prepared in the cash center 1 are delivered to the stores 2 by the cash escort company 40 before the start of business of the stores 2. At this time, together with the cash pack 30, domestic money 51 required for business of each store 2 is also distributed to each store 2.
The cash escort company 40 sets a plurality of delivery routes for efficiently delivering cash to the plurality of stores 2. The plurality of cash transport vehicles travel through the respective delivery routes, and sequentially deliver cash to the stores 2 on the routes. The management information 33 given to the cash package 30 includes information on the delivery route. The person in charge can collect the cash packages 30 by branch shop and by distribution route based on the management information 33. In this way, since the cash center 1 groups the cash packages 30 with cash loaded by the branch customers into the respective stores and the distribution route, the cash escort company 40 can easily perform the operation of loading the cash packages 30 on the cash carrier and distributing the cash packages to the respective stores 2.
Next, the configuration of the management apparatus 100 and the cash processing apparatus 200 will be described. Fig. 2 is a block diagram schematically showing the configuration of the management apparatus 100 and the cash processing apparatus 200. Fig. 2 shows 1 cash processing device 200. The management device 100 is communicably connected to a plurality of cash processing devices 200(200a, 200 b). Next, information managed by the management apparatus 100 will be described. Fig. 3 is a diagram showing an example of the deposit information 151. The management apparatus 100 manages information of cash collected from each store 2 as deposit information 151. As shown in fig. 3, the deposit information 151 includes information on stores, money, denomination, and number of sheets. In the store item, store numbers for identifying the stores 2 are registered. The money items include the types of money collected from the stores 2. In the denomination item, information of the denomination of each currency collected from each store 2 is registered. In the item of the number of sheets, the number of denominations of cash collected from each store is registered.
Fig. 4 is a diagram showing an example of the reservation information 152. The management apparatus 100 manages information of cash reserved by the customer to be taken out at the store 2 as reservation information 152. As shown in fig. 4, the reservation information 152 includes information of a reception number, a reception time, a customer, a pick-up store, a store manager, a route, money, a denomination, a number of sheets, and a total amount.
In the item of the acceptance number, a number for specifying each reservation accepted from the customer and the store 2 is registered. The time for accepting the reservation is registered as the item of the acceptance time. In the customer item, a customer number for identifying each customer is registered. The customer number is managed separately by associating the name of the customer with the contact address, and the customer can be identified and contacted by the customer number.
In the item of the check-out store, the store number of the store 2 for which the customer checks out the reserved cash is registered. In the store leader project, information for specifying a leader who is in contact with the customer at the store 2 is registered. For example, when the store 2 makes a reservation for cash, information of a person in charge of making the reservation is registered.
In the route item, information for specifying a delivery route for delivering cash to each store 2 by the cash escort company 40 is registered. The cash escort company 40 sets a plurality of delivery paths as in A, B, C …, for example, and a plurality of cash carriers reach different delivery paths and deliver cash to the stores 2. The route to which the reserved cash is to be delivered can be determined from the information registered in the route item.
The store number registered in the item of the pick-up store corresponds to the delivery route and the delivery order on the route. For example, store number "a 01" indicates store 2 that has dispensed cash first on delivery route a, and store number "a 02" indicates store 2 that has dispensed cash second on delivery route a. Similarly, store number "B01" indicates store 2 that has dispensed cash first on delivery route B, and store number "B02" indicates store 2 that has dispensed cash second on delivery route B. Therefore, the cash packages 30 are arranged in the order of the store numbers, and the cash packages 30 are distributed to the delivery route and arranged in the delivery order.
The money item includes the type of cash reserved by the customer, i.e., the type of foreign money. In the denomination item, the denomination of foreign currency reserved by the customer is registered. The customer pays the amount of the domestic money registered in the item of the converted amount to the store 2, and receives the reserved foreign money as the cash converted by the domestic money.
In the acceptance number 0001 shown in fig. 4, the customer reserves exchange of 15 ten thousand yen total of 10 ten thousand yen banknotes and 50 thousand yen banknotes in japan. The customer is shown to be able to receive japanese money of 15 ten thousand yen reserved by exchanging the customer with 9,614.64 dollar, which is domestic money, at store 2 located at store number a01 on delivery route a.
Fig. 5 is a diagram showing an example of the device setting information 153. The device setting information 153 includes information of a device number, money, a storage part number, a denomination, the number of packaged sheets, the current number of sheets, the number of deposited sheets, and the number of replenished sheets. The management device 100 creates device setting information 153 shown in fig. 5 using the deposit information 151 shown in fig. 3 and the reservation information 152 shown in fig. 4. The device setting information 153 is used when the management device 100 controls the cash processing device 200.
In the item of the device number, information for specifying each cash processing device 200 is registered. The type of foreign currency to be processed by the cash processing device 200 is registered as an item of currency. The management apparatus 100 recognizes the type of foreign currency required for preparing cash to be delivered to the store 2 (hereinafter referred to as "delivery cash") based on the reservation information 152 shown in fig. 4. The management apparatus 100 can prepare all the foreign currencies necessary by assigning 1 or more kinds of currencies to each of the plurality of cash handling apparatuses 200. The management apparatus 100 registers the type of foreign currency dispensed to the cash processing apparatus 200 in the item of currency.
In the item of the storage part number, information of the storage part of the cash processing device 200 is registered. For example, when the cash handling device 200 has a plurality of storage units, a number for identifying each storage unit is registered as a storage unit number. In the item of denomination, information of denomination stored in each storage unit is registered.
The number of banknotes required for the production of the cash bag 30 is registered as an item of the number of packaged banknotes. The management apparatus 100 recognizes several banknotes of each denomination that are required in preparation for cash dispensing based on the reservation information 152, and registers the recognized banknotes in the item of the number of packaged banknotes.
The current number of banknotes is registered in each storage unit of the cash processing device 200. The respective storage portions of the cash processing device 200 are normally emptied and preparation for dispensing cash is started. Therefore, in the example shown in fig. 5, all items of the current number of banknotes are 0 (zero), but when the preparation for cash dispensing is started from the state in which the banknotes are stored in the storage unit, the number of the banknotes is registered in the items of the current number of banknotes. The management device 100 communicates with the cash processing device 200, and can acquire information on the number of banknotes stored in each storage unit of the cash processing device 200.
The number of banknotes stored in each storage unit when cash collected from the store 2 is deposited is registered in the number of deposited banknotes item. In general, a process of depositing cash collected from the store 2 and a process of dispensing cash to prepare for delivery are performed separately. Specifically, the cash processing device 200, which is to be processed with domestic money, performs a deposit process of cash such as domestic money collected from the store 2. Thereafter, the cash processing apparatus 200, which is to be processed with foreign currency, starts preparation for cash dispensing. Therefore, in the example shown in fig. 5, all the items of the number of deposited banknotes are 0 (zero), but when the deposit process and the withdrawal process are performed in parallel by the cash processing device 200, the number of deposited banknotes is registered as the number of deposited banknotes. In this case, the management apparatus 100 recognizes the number of foreign currencies deposited by the cash handling apparatus 200 based on the deposit information 151 shown in fig. 3, and registers the recognized number of foreign currencies as the deposited number. For details, it will be described later.
The number of banknotes prepared in each storage unit of the cash processing device 200 in preparation for cash dispensing is registered in the item of the number of replenished banknotes. The management device 100 determines the number of sheets to be replenished based on the number of packaged sheets, the current number of sheets, and the number of deposited sheets.
The example shown in fig. 5 shows 560 ten-thousand yen notes among the items of the number of packed sheets required to prepare cash for delivery by the cash processing device 200 of the device number M001 for preparing japanese currency. When the current number of sheets and the deposited number of sheets are 0 (zero), the management device 100 sets the number of replenished sheets to 560. For example, in the case where the cash processing device 200 stores 100 ten thousand yen banknotes in the storage unit of the storage unit number 001, the current number of banknotes is 100, and the supplementary number is 460 obtained by subtracting the current number of banknotes from the number 560 of packaged banknotes. For example, the cash processing device 200 is also used for the deposit processing of cash collected from the store 2, and when 10 banknotes of ten-thousand yen are deposited as known from the deposit information 151, the deposited number of banknotes is 10, and the number of supplementary banknotes is 550. When the number of banknotes is registered in both the current number and the deposited number, the number obtained by subtracting the current number and the deposited number from the number of packaged banknotes is registered as the supplementary number.
The management device 100 creates device setting information 153 based on the deposit information 151 and the reservation information 152. Before the management apparatus 100 starts preparation for cash dispensing, the settings of the cash processing apparatuses 200 are changed based on the apparatus setting information 153.
The number of banknotes to be dispensed to each of the cash processing devices 200 is determined based on the number of banknotes prepared in the cash center 1, the number of denominations prepared for each of the banknotes, and the number of storage units included in each of the cash processing devices 200. For example, only 1 currency is dispensed to 1 cash handling device 200, and the entire denomination of dispensed currency is dispensed to the storage portion of the device. For example, 2 types of money may be dispensed to 1 cash handling device 200, and the entire denomination prepared for one type of money and a part of the denomination prepared for another type of money may be added to the storage portion of the device. Further, for example, there may be a case where plural kinds of money are dispensed to 1 cash processing device 200, and all denominations prepared by the dispensed money are added to the storage portion of the device. For example, when the reservation information 152 includes reservations of japanese currency and american currency, the management apparatus 100 can allocate 1 cash processing apparatus 200 to processing of japanese currency and american currency as shown in fig. 5.
The management device 100 determines the denomination and the number of sheets of banknotes to be stored in each storage unit based on the number of storage units included in the cash handling device 200, the number of banknotes that can be stored in each storage unit, and the denomination and number of banknotes required for creating the cash bag 30. For example, as shown in fig. 5, in the cash handling device 200 of device number M001, ten-thousand yen notes of japanese currency are dispensed to the storage portion of the storage part number 001. If 560 ten thousand yen notes in the number of supplementary sheets are stored in the storage unit, all ten thousand yen notes of the cash pack 30 can be prepared. Similarly, if 360 sheets of the number of additional sheets are stored in the storage unit of the storage unit number 004 to which the 100-dollar banknotes of the U.S. currency are assigned, all the 100-dollar banknotes of the cash pack 30 can be prepared. The denomination of each currency is also dispensed to the other storage unit, and a preparation for dispensing cash is started by storing a supplementary number of banknotes. The management apparatus 100 sets the cash processing apparatus 200 based on the apparatus setting information 153.
Fig. 6 is a diagram showing an example of the cash preparation information 154. The cash preparation information 154 includes information of money, a device number, a route, a pick-up store, a package number, package contents, and a receipt number. The management apparatus 100 creates cash preparation information 154 shown in fig. 6 using the reservation information 152 shown in fig. 4 and the apparatus setting information 153 shown in fig. 5. The cash preparation information 154 is used when the cash processing device 200 is to prepare to dispense cash.
The items of money, device number, route, pick-up store, and acceptance number of the cash preparation information 154 correspond to the items of the reservation information 152 and the device setting information 153. In the item of the package number, a serial number of a branch store assigned to the cash package 30 is registered. Specifically, each of the plurality of cash packages 30 distributed to store 2 having store number a01 is assigned with a serial number in order from 0001. Similarly, the cash packages 30 of the stores 2 are sequentially numbered from 0001 to the next. In the example shown in fig. 6, the cash package 30 of the package number "0001" of the store number a01 indicates cash registered with the acceptance number "0001" in the reservation information 152. Note that the cash packet 30 of the package number "0001" of the store number a04 indicates cash registered with the acceptance number "0042" in the reservation information 152.
The items of the packaged content correspond to the items of the denomination, number of sheets, and total amount of the reservation information 152 shown in fig. 4. The person in charge who is ready to dispense cash can easily grasp the contents of the created cash package 30 by each cash processing device 200 by referring to the cash preparation information 154 shown in fig. 6.
The management apparatus 100 uses the information of the cash preparation information 154 for controlling each cash processing apparatus 200. Specifically, the management device 100 transmits the cash preparation information 154 to each cash processing device 200, and executes the dispensing process. The cash processing device 200 distributes the route and dispenses cash at the branch store based on the cash preparation information 154. The cash processing device 200 dispenses cash in the order of store numbers, thereby dispensing cash in the order of delivery on the delivery route. The cash processing device 200 dispenses cash dispensed by the customer to each store. That is, the cash processing device 200 sequentially dispenses the cash contained in each cash pack 30.
Fig. 7 is a diagram showing an example of the delivery preparation information 155. The delivery preparation information 155 includes information of a route, a pick-up store, a package number, money, and a reception number. Each item of the dispensing preparation information 155 corresponds to each item of the cash preparation information 154 shown in fig. 6. The delivery preparation information 155 is used to divide the created cash package 30 into delivery routes. The management apparatus 100 extracts information necessary for sorting the distribution and transport paths of the cash packages 30 from the cash preparation information 154, and creates delivery preparation information 155. The person in charge who is ready to dispense cash can easily perform the work of assigning the cash packages 30 to the delivery route and arranging them in the delivery order by referring to the delivery preparation information 155.
The person in charge who is ready to dispense cash can confirm each of the information 151 to 155 managed by the management apparatus 100 by using the management apparatus 100 and the cash processing apparatus 200. For example, when the cash pack 30 is created by the cash handling device 200, information relating to the cash pack 30 is displayed on the display unit 220 of the cash handling device 200.
Fig. 8 is a diagram for explaining an example of information displayed when the cash pack 30 is produced. The cash processing device 200 of device number M001 dispenses 10 ten thousand yen notes and 50 thousand yen notes of the cash of acceptance number 0001 based on the cash preparation information 154 shown in fig. 6. At this time, as shown in fig. 8(a), information relating to cash being dispensed is displayed on the display unit 220 of the cash processing device 200. The person in charge can recognize, based on the display of the display unit 220, that the cash being dispensed by the cash processing device 200 is cash for the cash pack 30 of the pack number 0001 dispensed to the store 2 of the store number a01 located in the delivery route a, and can dispense 10 ten thousand yen banknotes and 50 one thousand yen banknotes.
The cash processing device 200 dispenses cash for 1 cash pack 30, and ends the 1-time dispensing process. As shown in fig. 8(b), the person in charge receives cash 32 dispensed by the cash processing device 200 into the storage container 31 to which the management information 33 is given, and creates a cash pack 30. The management information 33 includes information on the route of the delivery preparation information 155, the pick-up store, and the package number shown in fig. 7. The person in charge confirms that the route, the pick-up store, and the package number displayed on the display unit 220 of the cash handling device 200 match the management information 33 given to the storage container 31, and creates the cash package 30. When the person in charge who has finished creating the cash package 30 performs a predetermined operation indicating that the cash package has been created by the operation unit 210 of the cash processing device 200, the cash processing device 200 starts the next dispensing process. The cash processing device 200 displays information on cash being dispensed on the display unit 220. Each time the cash handling device 200 finishes the dispensing process, the person in charge can easily create a large number of cash bags 30 by loading the dispensed cash into the corresponding storage container 31.
The person in charge can distribute the route-aggregated cash packages 30 based on the route number of the management information 33. Further, the person in charge can arrange the cash packages 30 in the order of delivery based on the store number of the management information 33. Further, the person in charge can arrange the cash packages 30 based on the package numbers of the management information 33. The cash processing device 200 dispenses cash for a cash pack by branch stores (distribution and delivery order) based on the cash preparation information 154 shown in fig. 6. Further, the cash handling device 200 dispenses cash in the order of pack number for each customer. This allows the person in charge to easily sort the cash packages 30 into the distribution route, the branch store, and the branch customer.
Next, a specific example of the cash handling device 200 used in the cash center 1 will be described. Fig. 9 is a diagram showing an example of the cash processing device 200. Fig. 9(a) is an external view of the cash processing device 200, and fig. 9(b) is a block diagram schematically showing an internal configuration of the cash processing device 200.
The cash processing device 200 shown in fig. 9 includes an operation unit 210, a display unit 220, a deposit unit 261, and a discharge unit 262 on the upper surface. The cash processing device 200 includes a recognition unit 263, a plurality of storage units 265, and a detachable cassette 266 inside the device. The cash processing device 200 includes a deposit unit 261, a dispensing unit 262, a recognition unit 263, storage units 265, and a conveyance path 264 for conveying bills between cassettes 266.
The storage unit 265 stores banknotes deposited during the deposit process and delivers banknotes deposited during the withdrawal process. The storage unit 265 is, for example, a drum-type storage unit that rotates a drum, stores bills while curling the outer peripheral surface of the drum with a belt attached to the drum, and feeds the bills by rotating the drum in the direction opposite to the storage direction. The type of the banknotes stored in the storage unit 265 can be set. The management apparatus 100 sets the money and denomination of the banknotes stored in each storage unit 265 based on the apparatus setting information 153 shown in fig. 5.
The cassette 266 is detachable by opening the door 203 located at the lower portion of the front surface of the cash handling device 200. The cassette 266 is used to replenish the banknotes stored in the storage 265 of the cash processing device 200. For example, the management apparatus 100 displays the denomination and amount of banknotes replenished in the cash processing apparatus 200 on the display unit 120 based on the information on the number of replenished banknotes of the apparatus setting information 153 shown in fig. 5, and reports the same to the person in charge. The person in charge confirms the display on the display unit 120 and stores the banknotes replenished in the cash processing device 200 in the cassette 266. When the cassette 266 is mounted in the cash processing device 200 and the operation unit 110 performs a predetermined operation to start the replenishment process, the responsible person sends out the banknotes in the cassette 266 to the transport path 264 one by one. Each banknote is recognized by the recognition unit 263 and stored in the corresponding storage unit 265 based on denomination information set for each storage unit 265. In this manner, the banknotes for the cash pack 30 are prepared for each storage unit of the cash handling device 200 based on the device setting information 153 shown in fig. 5.
In the deposit process, the deposited banknotes are placed in the deposit unit 261. The banknotes in the deposit unit 261 are fed into the apparatus one by one and transported along the transport path 264. The bill conveyed in the conveyance path 264 is recognized by the recognition unit 263. The recognition unit 263 recognizes, for example, the currency, denomination, authenticity, and end loss of each banknote, and counts the number and amount of deposited banknotes. Based on the recognition result, the banknotes that can be deposited are stored in the storage unit 265 in denominations. Banknotes that cannot be deposited are returned from the dispensing unit 262.
In the dispensing process, the dispensed banknotes are fed from the storage unit 265 and discharged to the dispensing unit 262. When the cash pack 30 is created, the cash processing device 200 executes the dispensing process in the order of pack numbers based on the cash preparation information 154 shown in fig. 6, as described above. The person in charge can load cash dispensed by the cash processing device 200 into the storage container 31 to create the cash pack 30.
Fig. 10 is a diagram showing another example of the cash handling device 200. While the cash processing device 200 shown in fig. 9 prepares bills by using 1 dispensing unit 262, the cash processing device 200 shown in fig. 10 can prepare bills by using a plurality of stacking units 270 having openings. As shown in fig. 10, the cash processing device 200 is configured such that a plurality of sub units 202(202a, 202b) for additionally providing the stacking unit 270 can be connected to a main unit 201 capable of independently executing cash processing.
The cash processing device 200 includes an operation unit 210 and a display unit 220 on the front surface of a main unit 201, and a deposit unit 261 and a paper money reject unit 268 on the upper surface. The conveyance path and the recognition unit are provided inside the main unit 201, and as with the apparatus shown in fig. 9, a plurality of banknotes received in the deposit unit 261 can be fed one by one into the apparatus and can be recognized and counted.
In the lower portion of the main unit 201, 4 stacking portions 270 having openings on the front surface side are provided. Similarly, in each of the 2 sub-units 202, 4 stacked portions 270 having openings on the front surface side are provided.
When the sub unit 202 is connected to the main unit 201, the conveyance path in the main unit 201 and the conveyance path in the sub unit 202 are connected. In the example shown in fig. 10, the conveyance path of the main unit 201 and the conveyance path of the sub unit 202a are connected, and the conveyance path of the sub unit 202a and the conveyance path of the sub unit 202b are connected. Thus, the cash processing device 200 can sort and stack the banknotes by type in the stacking unit 270 of the main unit 201 and the stacking unit 270 of the sub unit 202 based on the recognition result of the banknotes obtained in the main unit 201. The stacking portions 270 are each provided with a report portion 269. The report section 269 includes an LED and can be lit or blinked in a color selected from a plurality of colors such as red or blue. For example, if it is necessary to remove banknotes from the stacking unit 270, the cash processing device 200 changes the light emission state of the notification unit 269. The person in charge can recognize the position of the stacking unit 270 necessary for extracting banknotes based on the light emission state of the notification unit 269.
Before the preparation for dispensing cash is started, the management apparatus 100 creates apparatus setting information 153 and cash preparation information 154. Fig. 11 is a diagram for explaining an example of preparation for cash dispensing by the cash processing device 200 shown in fig. 10. Fig. 11(a) shows an example of the device setting information 153, and fig. 11(b) shows an example of the cash preparation information 154. Fig. 11(c) shows an example of setting of the cash processing device 200 for preparing cash delivery based on the device setting information 153 and the cash preparation information 154.
The device setting information 153 and the cash preparation information 154 register the settings of the plurality of cash processing devices 200 used in the cash center 1. Note that the cash processing device 200 shown in fig. 10 has a device number M101, and 3 units 201, 202a, and 202b have unit numbers U1 to U3.
The management apparatus 100 creates apparatus setting information 153 as shown in fig. 11(a) based on the deposit information 151 and the reservation information 152. For example, if the reservation information 152 does not include reservations of japanese currency, american currency, and euro currency, the management apparatus 100 allocates each currency to the 3 units 201, 202a, and 202b of 1 cash processing apparatus 200. The management device 100 registers the denomination of each money in the stacking unit 270 of each unit.
In the case of preparing for cash delivery, unlike the cash deposit process collected from the store 2, the item of the number of deposited cash is 0 (zero) as shown in fig. 11 a. The number of banknotes stacked in the deposit unit 261 for preparing cash delivery is registered in the number of stacked banknotes. When preparing to deliver cash using the cash deposited while performing the deposit process, the number of sheets based on the deposit information 151 is registered in the item of the number of deposited sheets. In this case, the number of sheets to be placed is the number obtained by subtracting the number of deposited sheets from the number of banknotes required for cash dispensing. The responsible person can prepare banknotes for cash delivery based on the number of sheets placed.
The management apparatus 100 creates cash preparation information 154 as shown in fig. 11(b) based on the deposit information 151, the reservation information 152, and the apparatus setting information 153. The management apparatus 100 creates cash preparation information 154 for each of the units 201 and 202 to allocate a route and prepare a cash pack 30 for a branch store. The management apparatus 100 creates the cash preparation information 154 so that the cash packages 30 are created in the delivery order (store number order) and the customer order (package number order).
The management apparatus 100 changes the setting of the cash processing apparatus 200 based on the apparatus setting information 153. Further, the management apparatus 100 causes the cash processing apparatus 200 to execute cash processing for preparing cash for the cash pack 30 based on the cash preparation information 154. As a result, as shown in fig. 11(c), each of the 3 units 201, 202a, and 202b of the cash handling device 200 is used to produce a cash pack 30 of 1 currency.
For example, 3 banknotes of japanese currency are prepared by the 3 stacker 270 of the main unit 201, 4 banknotes of american currency are prepared by the 4 stacker 270 of the sub unit 202a, and 4 banknotes of european currency are prepared by the 4 stacker 270 of the sub unit 202 b. The management apparatus 100 lights the report section 269 of the main unit 201 in red, lights the report section 269 of the subunit 202a in blue, and lights the report section 269 of the subunit 202b in green, for example. This allows the person in charge to recognize that different money is prepared for each unit.
The responsible person mounts the banknotes prepared in advance in the deposit unit 261 based on the information of the number of stacked banknotes shown in fig. 11 (a). The cash processing device 200 feeds the banknotes in the deposit unit 261 into the device one by one, recognizes and counts the banknotes, and stacks the banknotes in the corresponding stacking units 270.
For example, as shown in fig. 11(b), 10 ten thousand yen banknotes and 50 thousand yen banknotes of japanese currency are stacked in the stacking unit 270 for the cash pack 30 of pack number 0001. When 10 sheets are stacked in the stacking unit 270 to which ten thousand yen banknotes are assigned, the cash handling device 200 causes the notification unit 269 of the stacking unit 270 to blink. The person in charge takes out the banknotes from the blinking stacking unit 270 and loads them into the storage container 31.
Similarly to the screen display shown in fig. 8, information on the banknotes prepared by the respective units 201 and 202 is displayed on the display unit 220 of the cash handling device 200. For example, the management information 33 is displayed on the display unit 220. The responsible person can load the banknotes extracted from the stacking unit 270 into the corresponding storage containers 31 based on the information on the display unit 220 and the management information 33 provided to the storage containers 31.
Each stacking unit 270 is provided with a sensor for detecting the presence or absence of bills. When ten thousand yen banknotes in the stacking unit 270 are removed, the blinking notifying unit 269 returns to the lit state. Next, when 50 sheets are stacked in the stacking unit 270 to which the denomination of one thousand yen banknotes is assigned, the notification unit 269 of the stacking unit 270 blinks. The responsible person takes out the banknotes from the stacking unit 270 and loads them into the storage container 31 previously loaded with ten thousand yen banknotes. When one thousand yen banknotes are withdrawn from the stacking unit 270, the banknote for ending the preparation of 1 cash pack 30 is reported to the responsible person. For example, when both ten thousand yen banknotes and one thousand yen banknotes are removed from the stacking unit 270, all of the 4 notifying units 269 of the main unit 201 blink a predetermined number of times and turn off, thereby notifying that the processing for the cash pack 30 is completed. Further, information indicating that the processing for 1 cash pack 30 is ended is displayed on the display unit 220. When the predetermined operation by the operation unit 210 for the responsible person who creates the cash package 30 is completed or the predetermined time elapses from the update of the display of the management information 33, the main unit 201 starts the stacking of the banknotes for the next cash package 30. The display of the display section 220 is updated, and the management information 33 of the cash pack 30 prepared next with the main unit 201 is displayed.
In the other unit 202, the cash pack 30 is prepared in the same manner as in the unit 201. The person in charge can prepare 3 cash packages 30 in parallel using the 3 units 201, 202. The responsible person can prepare the cash bag 30 by picking up the banknotes from each stacking unit 270 and loading the banknotes into the corresponding storage containers 31 while confirming the reporting unit 269 and the display unit 220.
The cash processing device 200 can also prepare for cash delivery in parallel with the cash deposit process collected from the store 2. When the cash processing device 200 shown in fig. 10 is set to perform the depositing process and the preparation for dispensing cash in parallel, for example, the management device 100 uses 2 sub units 202a and 202b for the depositing process and uses the main unit 201 for the preparation for dispensing cash.
Before the preparation for dispensing cash is started, the management apparatus 100 creates apparatus setting information 153 and cash preparation information 154. Fig. 12 is a diagram for explaining an example of preparation for cash delivery in parallel with the deposit process by the cash processing device 200 shown in fig. 10. Fig. 12(a) shows an example of the device setting information 153, and fig. 12(b) shows an example of the cash preparation information 154. Fig. 12(c) shows an example of setting of the cash processing device 200.
The management apparatus 100 creates apparatus setting information 153 as shown in fig. 12(a) based on the deposit information 151 and the reservation information 152. For example, the management apparatus 100 is set to stack different banknotes for the cash pack 30 in each of the 4 stacking units 270 of the main unit 201, and registers the type of foreign currency prepared for cash delivery in the item of currency of each stacking unit 270. Note that the management device 100 is set to stack chinese bills as domestic money in the 8 stacking units 270 of the subunits 202a and 202b by denomination, and registers the domestic money, that is, the denomination of the chinese money, in the money items of the respective stacking units 270.
In order to prepare for cash delivery in parallel with the cash deposit process collected from the store 2, as shown in fig. 12(a), the number of banknotes of foreign currency included in the cash collected from the store 2 is registered in the item of the number of deposited banknotes of the main unit 201 of the unit number U1. The number of deposited banknotes subtracted from the number of banknotes required for preparation for cash dispensing is registered in the item of the number of sheets to be placed on the main unit 201. On the other hand, the number of banknotes of domestic currency included in the cash collected from the store 2 is registered in the items of the number of deposited banknotes of the subunit 202 of the unit numbers U2 and U3. Since the sub-unit 202 is not used for preparation for cash dispensing, the item of the number of stacked sheets is 0 (zero).
The management apparatus 100 creates cash preparation information 154 as shown in fig. 12(b) based on the deposit information 151, the reservation information 152, and the apparatus setting information 153. The management apparatus 100 creates the cash preparation information 154 by using the respective stacking units 270 of the main unit 201 of the unit number U1, and prepares the cash packages 30 by assigning a delivery route and branch stores. The management apparatus 100 creates the cash preparation information 154 so that the cash packages 30 are created in the delivery order (store number order) and the customer order (package number order).
The management device 100 changes the setting of the cash processing device 200 based on the device setting information 153, and causes the cash processing device 200 to execute cash processing for preparing cash for the cash pack 30 based on the cash preparation information 154. As a result, as shown in fig. 12(c), each of the 4 stacking portions 270 of the main unit 201 of the cash handling device 200 is used for producing the cash pack 30. The 2 sub-units 202a and 202b are used for the deposit process, and banknotes of chinese currency are stacked in denominations in the 6 stacking units 270. For example, the report section 269 of the sub-units 202a and 202b is turned off, and the report section 269 of each stack 270 of the main unit 201 is turned on in a different color. Thus, the person in charge can recognize that the sub units 202a and 202b are used for the deposit process, and that the stacking units 270 of the main unit 201 are used for the production of different cash packages 30.
When the person in charge places cash collected from the store 2 in the deposit unit 261, the cash processing device 200 feeds the banknotes one by one into the device, recognizes and counts the banknotes, and deposits the banknotes in the corresponding deposit units 270. Banknotes of chinese currency are stacked in denominations in the corresponding stacking portions 270 of the subunits 202. Banknotes of foreign currency are stacked in the corresponding stacking sections 270 of the main unit 201. When the deposit process is completed, the result of the recognition and counting of cash collected from the store 2 is displayed on the display unit 220. The banknotes of chinese currency stacked in the stacking unit 270 of the subunit 202 are collected and stored in a vault or the like of the cash center 1.
When the person in charge who has finished the deposit process places the banknotes of the foreign currency prepared in advance in the deposit unit 261 based on the information on the number of placed banknotes shown in fig. 12(a), the cash processing device 200 feeds the banknotes one by one into the device, recognizes and counts the banknotes, and deposits the banknotes in the corresponding deposit unit 270 of the main unit 201.
For example, as shown in fig. 12(b), ten thousand yen banknotes and 50 thousand yen banknotes of japanese currency are prepared for the cash pack 30 of pack number 0001. In the deposit process, 10 ten thousand yen banknotes among the deposited banknotes are stacked in the corresponding stacking section 270 of the main unit 201. After ten thousand yen banknotes larger than 10 are rejected by the reject unit 268, the banknotes are used for another use of the cash pack 30.
When 10 ten thousand yen banknotes and 50 thousand yen banknotes are stacked in the stacking unit 270 to which the japanese money is dispensed, the cash handling apparatus 200 causes the notification unit 269 of the stacking unit 270 to blink. The person in charge picks up the banknotes from the blinking stacking unit 270, and loads them into the storage container 31, thereby completing 1 cash bag 30. As described with reference to fig. 11, the person in charge can specify the storage container 31 in which the banknotes extracted from the stacking unit 270 are loaded, based on the information displayed on the display unit 220.
When ten thousand yen notes and one thousand yen notes are taken out from the stacking unit 270, the cash handling device 200 that has detected this turns on the notification unit 269 of the stacking unit 270, and the stacking unit 270 starts stacking notes for the next prepared bundle 30. The display unit 220 displays the management information 33 of the cash pack 30 to be prepared next.
In this manner, the person in charge can prepare the cash bag 30 by picking up the banknotes from each stacking unit 270 of the main unit 201 and loading the banknotes into the corresponding storage containers 31 while checking the report unit 269 and the display unit 220.
Fig. 10 to 12 show an example in which 2 sub units 202 are connected to the main unit 201, but 3 or more sub units 202 may be connected to the main unit 201. When 3 or more sub units 202 are connected, the management apparatus 100 changes the setting of the cash processing apparatus 200 according to the number of the connected sub units 202 and executes cash processing.
Fig. 13 is a diagram showing a different example of use of the cash handling device 200 shown in fig. 10. For example, as shown in fig. 13(a), 4 sub-units 202a to 202d are connected to the main unit 201. Thus, as described with reference to fig. 11, banknotes of foreign currency can be deposited in the depositing units 270 of the main unit 201 and the 2 sub-units 202b in currency and denominations, and the cash pack 30 can be produced. Note that the deposit process can be executed in parallel with this, and as described with reference to fig. 12, banknotes of domestic currency are stacked in denominations in the stacking units 270 of the 2 sub-units 202c and 202 d.
For example, as shown in fig. 13(b), the main unit 201 and the sub units 202c and 202d can prepare the money for deposit and the preparation of the cash pack 30 as described in fig. 12, and the sub units 202a and 202b can prepare the domestic money to be distributed to the store 2. The management apparatus 100 also manages information on the denomination and amount of the domestic money distributed to each store 2. The management apparatus 100 can distribute the denomination of domestic money to the sub units 202a and 202b based on the management information, and can stack banknotes delivered to the stores 2. The person in charge can prepare the cash pack 30 for the foreign currency delivered to the store 2 and prepare the domestic currency delivered to the store 2 in parallel based on the report obtained by the report unit 269 and the information displayed on the display unit 220.
In conventional cash handling devices, although the cash handling device has a function of handling multinational currency, the types of currency handled during sales are limited to domestic currency, and foreign currency cannot be handled directly. A user of such an apparatus can process foreign money with the cash processing apparatus in addition to domestic money by, for example, purchasing a license for processing foreign money from a company selling the apparatus. Specifically, the user notifies the sales company of the manufacturing number of the cash processing device and the foreign currency to be added to the processing target, and the purchase permission is made. The user can process foreign money with the cash processing device in addition to domestic money by inputting the purchased authorization code into the device.
For example, when the user selects foreign money to be added to a processing target by the operation unit of the cash handling device and performs a predetermined operation for purchase approval, a graphic code such as a QR code (registered trademark) is displayed on the display unit of the cash handling device. The graphic code includes information necessary for purchase of a license such as a manufacturing number of the device and foreign currency selected by a user. When a user photographs a graphic code on a display unit with a mobile communication terminal such as a smartphone, a web browser connected to a website of a sales company is started and information necessary for purchase permission is transmitted to the sales company. When the user performs a payment process of a license fee or the like on the website, the user issues the license code. For example, a license code composed of a multi-bit character is issued and displayed on a screen of a user's mobile communication terminal. The user operates the operation unit of the cash processing device to input the permission code. Further, for example, a graphic code such as a QR code obtained by encoding a license code is issued and displayed on the screen of the user's portable communication terminal. The user inputs the permission code to the cash processing device by reading the graphic code on the screen with a reading device such as a camera provided in the cash processing device. By inputting the authorization code in this manner, the types of money that can be handled by the cash handling device that can handle foreign money as in the above-described cash handling device 200 are increased.
As described above, according to the cash preparing system, the management apparatus 100 can receive reservation information of cash from the customer and the store 2. The management apparatus 100 can change the setting of the cash processing apparatus 200 of the cash center 1 and cause the cash processing apparatus 200 to execute cash processing for preparing cash to be distributed to each store 2. The person in charge who is ready to dispense cash can easily prepare cash to be dispensed to each store 2 by loading cash prepared by the cash processing device 200 into the storage container 31 for dispensing.
Industrial applicability
As described above, the cash preparing method and the cash preparing system according to the present invention are useful for managing, in regions, information of cash located in a plurality of regions including information of cash manually managed without being stored in the cash handling device.
