The embodiment of the application can be applied to various types of display devices (including but not limited to smart televisions, liquid crystal televisions, set top boxes and the like). The following explains a display device and a display control method of a graphic style menu by taking a display scheme and a user interface of the graphic style menu realized by the smart television as an example.
FIG. 5A illustrates a user interface diagram of a chart style menu display in accordance with an embodiment of the present application.
In some embodiments, a display device provided herein includes a display operable to display a user interface operable to display menus for controlling television functions and controlling a television. The user can select and confirm the option of the television menu through a remote controller and other control equipment, and the configuration of the television function can be realized.
For example, the image menu common to the smart tv may include an image effect menu, an image scale menu, an image mode menu, and the like, and the sound setting menu common to the smart tv may include an audio menu, a surround sound effect menu, and the like, which are set through the menu.
According to the display equipment, the image-text style menu display control scheme can be realized in a specific menu setting interface, the menu display scheme of drawing, text or image-text combination is provided for a user according to the function corresponding to the menu setting option, and visual and auditory effect description about the option can be provided for the user.
In the display process of the image-text style menu, the image-text prompt instruction information can realize instant change in the focus moving process, and the menu option corresponding to the current focus is automatically adapted, so that a user can obtain the brief description and introduction of the specific image-text style of the current option in real time, the display of the intelligent image-text style of the menu is realized, and comfortable functional experience is brought to the user.
In some embodiments, the television menu comprises a plurality of options during display, when the focus is on the first option, the controller controls the first option to be highlighted to prompt the user that the current option is selected, and controls the user interface to display first prompt content corresponding to the first option, wherein the first prompt content is used for describing and introducing the function configuration effect of the first option to help the user decide whether to perform confirmation operation on the first option.
For example, the user interface in FIG. 5A shows an audio menu that includes 4 options, dynamic, standard, classical, and movie, respectively. The current focus of the television user interface is at the position of the dynamic option, the user interface displays corresponding first prompt content, the first prompt content is positioned in the menu interface below all the options, and the first prompt content is specifically displayed as a picture and a text paragraph which is displayed on the upper layer of the picture in an overlaying mode.
It can be seen that it is difficult for a general user to understand the specific meaning and set effect of the dynamic options in the audio menu.
Through the concert live picture of the first prompt content, the user can obtain a visual image introduction for the dynamic options in the menu, and the setting effect of the visual image introduction can be similar to the effect of the concert live; by setting the enjoying moments of listening to music, listening to a concert, watching TV plays and the like appropriately on the text paragraphs displayed on the pictures, the user can be clearly shown, namely, when the user listens to and watches the live broadcast and the recorded broadcast of the concert, or listens to popular music and watches TV plays and selects dynamic options, better auditory experience can be obtained.
The image-text menu display method definitely reduces the difficulty of understanding the function options by the user, so that the user does not need to set experience for different options one by one, and the difference of corresponding audio effects under different option setting scenes is repeatedly compared.
FIG. 5B is a schematic diagram of a user interface for a menu display of the text style in another embodiment of the present application.
In some embodiments, when the user interface finds that the focus of that menu is moved from the first option to the second option, the controller will control the user interface to display second prompt content corresponding to the second option.
The second prompting content can comprise a second image for visually introducing the second option function and/or second words for briefly introducing the second option function. It is understood that the second prompt content corresponding to the second option may include both images and text, or only images and text.
For example, when the user operates based on the user interface in fig. 5A, the user moves the focus from the dynamic option to the movie option, and the prompt content below the audio menu of the user interface is changed from the previous dynamic description image and text paragraph to the movie description image and text paragraph. It can be found that, in the movie option of the audio menu, the second prompt content corresponding to the movie option and the first prompt content are obviously changed, wherein the second image is specifically implemented as a picture in this embodiment, and a relatively clear functional effect can be provided for the user through the movie scene represented in the picture; the second text is displayed as "suitable setting when watching the movie", the user is explicitly indicated in a text mode, and the audio effect represented by the movie option is suitable for the movie or the video with large scenes.
Compared with the conventional menu display interface only containing option names, the user can hardly understand the actual audio setting effect in the setting process only by reading short name information such as dynamic, standard, classical and movie information.
In some embodiments, when the focus of the user interface is moved from a first option to a second option in the menu, the controller will draw a specific prompt area in the user interface, and during the switching process of the options, the controller controls the prompt area to be switched from displaying the first prompt content to displaying as the second prompt content, it should be noted that the prompt area and the menu option are generally set to keep a fixed position relative to each other.
For example, in the process of changing the user interface from fig. 5A to fig. 5B, the first prompt content and the second prompt content are displayed at the same position on the user interface, that is, the controller immediately displays the corresponding prompt content in a fixed prompt area according to different menu options.
Through the setting of the prompt area, the display of the prompt content can be kept at a fixed position, and the regularity and the tidiness of the display of the television user interface are improved.
In some embodiments, when the second prompt content displayed on the user interface includes the second image and the second text, the controller controls the second text to be displayed in an overlapping manner on a lower edge of the second image, i.e., in this embodiment, the text segment is displayed in the overlapping manner on the second image, and the text segment is displayed in a display range of the image, wherein the text segment can be configured with different transparencies to display different combination effects, as shown in fig. 5A and 5B.
In some embodiments, when the second prompt content displayed by the user interface includes a second image and a second text, the controller may further control the second text to be displayed at a peripheral position of the second image, for example, at a lower side, a right side, a left side, or an upper side of the image, so as to display different combination effects.
