In order to meet the requirements of miniaturization, light weight, low cost, low maintenance and good adaptation of a power steering system of a front wheel shimmy damper of a small and medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicle, the light weight small shimmy damper with adjustable damping, simple structure and low manufacturing cost is designed to be an urgent task in the current development of the small and medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicle.

The invention aims to solve the technical problems that an existing unmanned aerial vehicle adopts an oil type swing reducer with a man-machine to increase the load of a steering engine, can eliminate a force transmission gap and cannot be adapted to a front wheel electric steering system, and provides an adjustable damping front wheel swing reducer for a small and medium-sized unmanned aerial vehicle.

The damping element used in the invention adopts the square spring, and each spring ring can not be misplaced when the square spring is stressed and looped, so that two limit designs can be reduced, and the manufacturing and processing difficulty and cost are reduced. And the forward/backward pre-damping can be respectively adjusted by adjusting the screwing degree of the blocking cover, so that the adjustment is convenient and quick.
