Abstract

本申请实施例公开了一种图像处理的装置和方法，该图像处理的装置包括：应用处理器AP、显示驱动集成电路DDIC和传输接口，AP对原始待显示图像进行子像素渲染SPR和编码之后发送给DDIC，DDIC解码之后得到SPR图像，该SPR图像可以直接显示在SPA显示屏上，由于AP对数据进行SPR处理之后，图像数据量大大减小，将图像数据从AP传输到DDIC所需的带宽和功耗也大大降低，进一步的，DDIC处理的数据量以及DDIC侧的存储空间都极大减小，大大提高了图像处理装置的性能。
