Background
Today, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSA) has become a common sleep disorder, in which the patient's upper airway collapses repeatedly during sleep, resulting in reduced or stopped airflow and oxygen saturation, showing a series of symptoms such as loud snoring, sleep interruption, excessive daytime sleepiness, increased nocturia, fatigue, attention and memory loss. OSA is considered a progressive and disabling chronic disease that impairs the quality of life of patients and induces the development of chronic diseases such as hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and the like.
The upper airway tissue of an OSA patient is loose and easy to collapse, and the upper airway tissue is easy to collapse, so that the disease is caused by the upper airway stenosis caused by glossocoma. The muscle function therapy (MT) is a rehabilitation treatment measure for improving the symptoms of an OSA patient, mainly aims at the function training of muscle structures of the mouth, the face, the lips, the soft palate and the like, and medical researches show that the muscle strength and the tension of upper airway dilator muscles can be improved through the muscle function therapy, the upper airway collapse can be effectively improved, the upper airway stability can be maintained, the snoring can be further relieved, the occurrence of obstructive sleep respiratory events can be reduced, and the severity of the symptoms of the OSA patient can be reduced.
At present, all medical training methods guide a patient to do movements such as blow-up of a drum cheek, yawning, tongue protrusion, mandibular protrusion and the like, and in the training of the movements, some targeted auxiliary resistance training devices are not available to increase the load in the training, so that in order to further improve the training effect, the development of resistance training equipment capable of aiming at the movements is urgently needed to increase the training effect and improve the rehabilitation effect.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to overcome the defects in the prior art and provide an elastic device for training orofacial muscles, which is suitable for training the oral, facial, lingual and pharyngeal muscles of patients with chronic obstructive sleep apnea syndrome and can provide resistance in the activities of gill bulging, air blowing, mandibular protrusion and lingual protrusion.
