The method for acquiring the length range of the clothes specifically comprises the following steps: the clothes move along the clothes entering direction, when the second sensing unit 52 senses the clothes, the main control system judges whether the first sensing unit 51 senses the clothes, and when the first sensing unit 51 senses the clothes, the main control system judges that the length L of the clothes is greater than L'; when the first sensing unit 51 does not sense the laundry, it is determined that the laundry length L is less than L'.
In the clothing length detection method, the correlation type photoelectric sensor consists of two parts, namely a light emitter and a light receiver, when no obstacle exists between the two parts, the light emitter of the sensor emits light, the light receiver receives the light, and the light receiver outputs a low level signal; on the contrary, when there is an obstacle between the light emitter and the light receiver, the light receiver outputs a high level signal.
The first sensing unit 51 and the second sensing unit 52 cooperate to detect the length range of the clothes, the transmission distance L 'between the first sensing unit and the second sensing unit is fixedly set, for example, 62cm, if the second sensing unit is true (the clothes are detected), the first sensing unit is still true (the clothes are detected), and at this time, the length of the clothes is judged to be greater than or equal to the transmission distance L' between the first sensing unit and the second sensing unit; if the second sensing unit is true (laundry is detected), the first sensing unit is false (laundry is not detected), and at this time, it is determined that the laundry length is less than the transfer distance L' between the first sensing unit and the second sensing unit.
When the clothes folding machine judges that the length of the clothes is more than or equal to the preset length L', the clothes are folded twice by controlling the folding conveying device, the first folding mechanism and the second folding mechanism. Specifically, the control method includes the steps of:
1) controlling the third folding conveyor and the first folding conveyor to move leftwards to convey a part of the clothes from the fifth conveying surface to the first conveying surface, wherein the length of the clothes left on the fifth conveying surface is smaller than that of the clothes conveyed to the first conveying surface;
2) controlling the third folding conveying device to continuously convey leftwards, controlling the first folding conveying device to convey rightwards, controlling a second screw motor to drive a second screw to rotate forwards, driving a second pressing plate to press downwards and insert into the folding conveying channel, and pressing clothes into the folding conveying channel to be folded for the first time;
3) controlling the third folding conveying device and the first folding conveying device to continue conveying, simultaneously controlling a second screw motor to drive a second screw to rotate reversely, driving a second pressing plate to be drawn out of the folding conveying channel upwards, controlling the second folding conveying device to convey the clothes to the right, and conveying the folded clothes from the folding conveying channel to a third conveying surface;
4) controlling the third folding conveying device and the first folding conveying device to continue conveying, controlling the second folding conveying device to convey leftwards, controlling the first lead screw motor to drive the first lead screw to rotate forwards, driving the first pressing plate to be inserted into the folding output channel leftwards, and pressing clothes into the folding output channel for secondary folding;
5) and controlling the first folding conveying device, the second folding conveying device and the third folding conveying device to continue conveying, and simultaneously controlling the first lead screw motor to drive the first lead screw to rotate reversely to drive the first pressing plate to draw out the folding output channel rightwards, so that clothes are output through the folding output channel, and the clothes folding is completed.
In the embodiment, the clothes folding machine can adopt a corresponding control method according to the length of the clothes, so that the folding mode of the clothes is adaptive to the length of the clothes; the embodiment provides a control method for folding a long garment, which can fold the garment twice and has a smaller size after folding.

3) and controlling the third folding conveying device and the first folding conveying device to continue conveying, controlling a second screw motor to drive a second screw to rotate reversely, driving a second pressing plate to draw out a folding conveying channel upwards, controlling the second folding conveying device to convey leftwards, conveying the folded clothes from the folding conveying channel to a folding output channel, and outputting the clothes through the folding output channel to finish clothes folding.
The present embodiment provides a control method for folding a relatively short garment, folding the garment only once; for the clothes with different lengths, the folding times of the clothes are different by controlling the clothes folding machine, so that the sizes of the folded clothes are closer, and the folded clothes are convenient to store.
