Abstract
The invention discloses a method and a system for operating a cinema showing server by utilizing a light source chip, wherein the method comprises the steps of 100 obtaining output information of the light source chip by the cinema showing server and 200 starting to operate the cinema showing server if the output information is consistent with the built-in information of the cinema showing server.
