The embodiment of the application provides an application classifying device, when a user classifies and manages application icons in a desktop, the user can perform first input on the application icons in any page of the desktop, so that an electronic device can display a plurality of application icons in the electronic device on the page, the user can conveniently select the application icons needing to be classified from the application icons directly, the user does not need to drag the application icons to other pages one by one to find the application icons needing to be classified, the path for classifying the application icons is shortened, and the efficiency for classifying application programs in different pages can be improved.
In one possible implementation, the first input is a drag input of the first application icon by the user. In one possible implementation, the at least one second application icon includes at least one of: other application icons except the first application icon in the electronic equipment, and N application icons with the same attribute as the first application icon in the electronic equipment, wherein N is a positive integer; the first region includes a first sub-region and a second sub-region. The application classification device in the embodiment of the application can be a device, and also can be a component, an integrated circuit or a chip in a terminal. The device may be a mobile electronic device or a non-mobile electronic device. Those skilled in the art will appreciate that the electronic device 100 may further include a power source (e.g., a battery) for powering the various components, and that the power source may be logically coupled to the processor 110 via a power management system to perform functions such as managing charging, discharging, and power consumption via the power management system. The electronic device structure shown in fig. 7 does not constitute a limitation of the electronic device, and the electronic device may include more or less components than shown, or may combine certain components, or may be arranged in different components, which are not described in detail herein.
The user input unit 107 is configured to receive a first input of a first application icon by a user, where the first application icon is an application icon in a first page, and the first page is a page in a desktop of the electronic device. A display unit 106 for displaying an application list in a first area of the first page in response to the first input received by the user input unit 107, the application list comprising at least one second application icon in the electronic device. The display unit 106 is specifically configured to display N application icons in the first sub-area, and display a target mark in the first sub-area, and display other application icons in the second sub-area, where the target mark is used to indicate to the user that the N application icons have the same attribute as the first application icon.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present application, the display unit 106 is specifically configured to display a target window in the first area, and display at least one second application icon in the target window according to the target sequence. The user input unit 107 includes a touch panel 1071 and other input devices 1072. The touch panel 1071 is also referred to as a touch screen. The touch panel 1071 may include two parts of a touch detection device and a touch controller. Other input devices 1072 may include, but are not limited to, a physical keyboard, function keys (e.g., volume control keys, switch keys, etc.), a trackball, a mouse, a joystick, and so forth, which are not described in detail herein. Memory 109 may be used to store software programs as well as various data including, but not limited to, application programs and an operating system. The processor 110 may integrate an application processor that primarily handles operating systems, user interfaces, applications, etc., with a modem processor that primarily handles wireless communications. It will be appreciated that the modem processor described above may not be integrated into the processor 110.
The embodiment of the application also provides a readable storage medium, on which a program or an instruction is stored, which when executed by a processor, implements each process of the above application classification method embodiment, and can achieve the same technical effect, and in order to avoid repetition, the description is omitted here.
Wherein the processor is a processor in the electronic device described in the above embodiment. The readable storage medium includes a computer readable storage medium such as a Read-Only Memory (ROM), a random access Memory (Random Access Memory, RAM), a magnetic disk or an optical disk, and the like.
The embodiment of the application further provides a chip, which comprises a processor and a communication interface, wherein the communication interface is coupled with the processor, and the processor is used for running programs or instructions to realize the processes of the application classification method embodiment, and the same technical effects can be achieved, so that repetition is avoided, and the description is omitted here.

1. An application classification method, the method comprising:
receiving a first input of a user on a first application icon, wherein the first application icon is an application icon in a first page, and the first page is one page in a desktop of the electronic device;
in response to the first input, displaying an application list in a first area of the first page, the application list including at least one second application icon in the electronic device;
receiving second input of a user on a target application icon, wherein the target application icon is an application icon in the at least one second application icon;
displaying a target folder in the first page in response to the second input, wherein the target folder comprises the first application icon and the target application icon;
the displaying the target folder in the first page includes:
displaying the target folder in a third area, and synchronously displaying the target folder in the first area, wherein the third area is an area corresponding to the first application icon;
the at least one second application icon comprises at least one of: the method comprises the steps that other application icons except for the first application icon in the electronic equipment and N application icons with the same attribute as the first application icon in the electronic equipment are used, wherein N is a positive integer; the first region comprises a first sub-region and a second sub-region;
The displaying the application list in the first area of the first page includes:

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the method further comprises, prior to displaying the list of applications in the first area of the first page:
displaying prompt information, wherein the prompt information is used for prompting a user whether to classify the application icons or not;
