At present, when a base station configures measurement configuration information, the capability of a terminal cannot be distinguished, and for a terminal with strong capability and a terminal with poor capability, the content of the measurement configuration information configured by the base station is consistent, so that the power consumption of the terminal with strong capability is large. In order to solve the above problem, the present disclosure provides the following measurement configuration and measurement reporting schemes.
The following first introduces a measurement configuration scheme provided by the present disclosure.
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a measurement configuration method, which is shown in fig. 1, where fig. 1 is a flowchart of a measurement configuration method according to an embodiment, and the method may be used in a base station, and the method may include the following steps:
in step 101, at least two types of measurement configuration information corresponding to a plurality of terminal capabilities are configured, and measurement requirements indicated by any two types of measurement configuration information in the at least two types of measurement configuration information are different.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the plurality of terminal capabilities include, but are not limited to, two or more different terminal capabilities, and optionally, the plurality of terminal capabilities include at least two types of terminal capabilities, where a first terminal capability is stronger than a second terminal capability. In one possible implementation, the terminal capability includes, but is not limited to, high precision of the rf device included in the terminal and/or a large number of antennas included in the terminal.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the base station may configure at least two types of measurement configuration information for a plurality of terminal capabilities. Wherein, the measurement requirements indicated by any two types of measurement configuration information in the at least two types of measurement configuration information may be different. In one possible implementation manner, for each terminal capability, the base station configures at least one type of measurement configuration information corresponding to the terminal capability. For a stronger terminal capability, considering that the measurement accuracy of the corresponding terminal is higher, the measurement requirement for the terminal can be relaxed, and therefore, the measurement requirement indicated by the measurement configuration information configured corresponding to the base station can be lower.
In step 102, the at least two types of measurement configuration information are transmitted.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the base station may broadcast, but is not limited to, multiple types of measurement configuration information by means of broadcast signaling. In an alternative implementation, at least two types of measurement configuration information may be included in the system message, broadcast via broadcast inter-signaling.
Or the base station may send at least two types of measurement configuration information to the terminal in a unicast signaling manner. In an optional implementation manner, the base station may directly issue the at least two types of measurement configuration information to the terminal through unicast signaling. In another alternative implementation, the base station may send at least two types of measurement configuration information to the terminal through unicast signaling based on the terminal request. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
In the above embodiment, the base station may configure the corresponding measurement configuration information for different terminal capabilities, and the measurement requirements indicated by any two types of measurement configuration information are different, and further, the base station may send at least two types of measurement configuration information, so that the terminal performs measurement reporting matched with its own capability in the following, thereby saving the terminal power.
In some optional embodiments, referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a measurement configuration method according to an embodiment, which may be used for a base station, and the method may include the following steps:
in step 201, at least a first type of measurement configuration information corresponding to a first terminal capability and a second type of measurement configuration information corresponding to a second terminal capability are configured.
In this embodiment of the present disclosure, the first terminal capability is stronger than the second terminal capability, and the measurement requirement indicated by the first type of measurement configuration information is lower than the measurement requirement indicated by the second type of measurement configuration information.
In one possible implementation, the terminal capability includes, but is not limited to, a high precision of the rf device included in the terminal and/or a high number of antennas included in the terminal.
In this embodiment of the present disclosure, the base station may configure measurement configuration information with different measurement requirements according to the terminal capability, the measurement requirement of the first type of measurement configuration information configured for the first terminal capability may be lower, and the measurement requirement of the second type of measurement configuration information configured for the second terminal capability may be higher. In the embodiment of the present disclosure, for a higher first terminal capability, the measurement accuracy type of the terminal during measurement may be determined to be high accuracy, and correspondingly, for a poorer second terminal capability, the measurement accuracy type of the terminal during measurement may be determined to be low accuracy. The measurement requirement can be relaxed for a terminal with high measurement accuracy, and the measurement requirement can be increased for a terminal with low measurement accuracy, so that the measurement requirement indicated by the first type of measurement configuration information configured by the base station can be lower than the measurement requirement indicated by the second type of measurement configuration information.
The above is merely an exemplary illustration, and in practical applications, the base station may configure more types of measurement configuration information for more terminal capabilities.
In step 202, at least the first type of measurement configuration information and the second type of measurement configuration information are transmitted.
In the above embodiment, the base station may send at least the first type of measurement configuration information and the second type of measurement configuration information, so that the terminal performs measurement reporting matched with its own capability in the following, thereby saving the power of the terminal.
In some optional embodiments, each type of measurement configuration information may include, but is not limited to, at least one of: the number of samples that the terminal needs to measure, the measurement period of the terminal.
In a possible implementation manner, when the base station configures at least the first type of measurement configuration information corresponding to the first terminal capability and the second type of measurement configuration information corresponding to the second terminal capability, it is considered that the first terminal capability is stronger and the measurement accuracy corresponding to the terminal is higher, so that the measurement requirement when the terminal performs measurement can be reduced, and the number of samples that the terminal of the first terminal capability needs to measure can be reduced by the base station. That is, the first number of samples included in the first type of measurement configuration information is configured to be less than or equal to the second number of samples included in the second type of measurement configuration information.
In a possible implementation manner, under the condition that the base station configures at least first type measurement configuration information corresponding to the first terminal capability and configures second type measurement configuration information corresponding to the second terminal capability, the base station can reduce measurement requirements when the terminal performs measurement by considering that the terminal capability indicated by the first terminal capability is stronger and the measurement accuracy corresponding to the terminal is higher, increase a measurement period corresponding to the terminal with the first terminal capability, and reduce the number of times of measurement reporting of the terminal with the first terminal capability, thereby achieving the purpose of saving the terminal power. That is, the period duration of the first measurement period included in the first type of measurement configuration information is configured to be greater than or equal to the period duration of the second measurement period included in the second type of measurement configuration information.
In another possible implementation manner, in the related art, it is predefined that there is a minimum measurement requirement in the measurement configuration information that does not distinguish the terminal capabilities, and in this embodiment of the present disclosure, when the base station configures the corresponding measurement configuration information for different terminal capabilities, for a second terminal capability that is poor, the measurement requirement indicated by the second type of measurement configuration information may be configured to meet the minimum measurement requirement, and for a first terminal capability that is stronger, the measurement requirement indicated by the corresponding first type of measurement configuration information may be configured to be lower than the minimum measurement requirement.
For example, if the minimum measurement requirement requires that the number of samples measured by the terminal is greater than or equal to a preset number, and/or the period duration of the measurement period is less than or equal to a preset period duration, the base station configures the measurement requirement indicated by the second type of measurement configuration information to include that the number of measured samples is greater than or equal to the preset number, and/or the period duration of the measurement period is less than or equal to the preset period duration, and the measurement requirement indicated by the first type of measurement configuration information configured by the base station includes that the number of measured samples is less than the preset number, and/or the period duration of the measurement period is greater than the preset period duration. In the above embodiment, the base station may reduce the measurement requirement indicated by the configured measurement configuration information for the terminal with the stronger first terminal capability according to different terminal capabilities, and may configure a smaller number of samples to be measured and a longer measurement period, thereby achieving the purpose of saving the power of the terminal.
In some optional embodiments, referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a measurement configuration method according to an embodiment, which may be used for a base station, and the method may include the following steps:
in step 301, at least two types of measurement configuration information corresponding to various terminal capabilities are configured, wherein measurement requirements indicated by any two types of measurement configuration information in the at least two types of measurement configuration information are different;
in step 302, the at least two types of measurement configuration information are transmitted.
In step 303, a measurement report performed by the terminal based on target measurement configuration information is received, where the target measurement configuration information is one type of measurement configuration information corresponding to a target terminal capability of the terminal among the at least two types of measurement configuration information.
In the above embodiment, after receiving at least two types of measurement configuration information, the terminal may be based on one type of measurement configuration information corresponding to the target terminal capability of the terminal. And the measurement reporting is carried out, so that at least two types of measurement configuration information corresponding to the terminal capability configuration are realized, the terminal can conveniently execute the measurement reporting matched with the self capability, and the aim of saving the electric quantity of the terminal is fulfilled.
In some optional embodiments, each type of measurement configuration information is used to instruct the terminal to perform at least one of the following measurements: RRM (Radio Resource Management) measurement, RLM (Radio Link Monitoring) measurement.
Wherein the RRM measurements comprise at least one of: the measurement of the current cell in the RRM measurement and the measurement of the adjacent cell in the RRM measurement. Optionally, the cell measurement includes, but is not limited to, the signal quality of the cell, and the neighbor cell measurement includes, but is not limited to, the signal quality measurement of the neighbor cell.
The RLM measurements include at least one of: the measurement of the current cell in the RLM measurement and the measurement of the adjacent cell in the RLM measurement. The local cell measurement or the neighbor cell measurement of the RLM includes, but is not limited to, radio link state monitoring measurement and radio link quality monitoring measurement. Optionally, the radio link state monitoring measurement includes, but is not limited to, measuring whether the radio link is in a connected state or a disconnected state, and the radio link quality monitoring measurement includes, but is not limited to, measuring link quality of the radio link in the connected state. Accordingly, the measurement requirements indicated by the first measurement configuration information are lower than the measurement requirements indicated by the second measurement configuration information.
In a possible implementation manner, the terminal determines that its target terminal capability is the first terminal capability, for example, the terminal belongs to an Enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB) terminal, and then the terminal determines that the target measurement configuration information is the first type of measurement configuration information.
In another possible implementation manner, if the terminal determines that its target terminal capability is the first terminal capability, for example, the terminal belongs to a reccap terminal, the terminal determines that the target measurement configuration information is the second type of measurement configuration information.

In the above embodiment, the terminal may determine the target measurement configuration information matched with the target terminal capability based on the received at least two types of measurement configuration information, so as to perform measurement reporting based on the target measurement configuration information. The terminal can execute the measurement report matched with the self capacity, and meanwhile, the electric quantity of the terminal is saved.
In some optional embodiments, if the base station does not configure the corresponding measurement configuration information for different terminal capabilities, the terminal may perform measurement reporting according to an original implementation manner of the system, including but not limited to performing measurement reporting based on the measurement configuration information configured by the base station and not distinguishing the terminal capabilities.
In some optional embodiments, each type of measurement configuration information is used to instruct the terminal to perform at least one of the following measurements: RRM measurement, RLM measurement.
The RLM measurement includes, but is not limited to, a radio link status monitoring measurement and a radio link quality monitoring measurement. Optionally, the radio link state monitoring measurement includes, but is not limited to, measuring whether the radio link is in a connected state or a disconnected state, and the radio link quality monitoring measurement includes, but is not limited to, measuring link quality of the radio link in the connected state.
In some optional embodiments, referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a flowchart illustrating a method for measurement configuration and measurement reporting according to an embodiment, where the method may include the following steps:
