Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. The following description refers to the accompanying drawings, in which like numerals in different drawings represent the same or similar elements, unless otherwise specified. The implementations described in the following exemplary examples do not represent all implementations consistent with the present invention. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the invention, as detailed in the appended claims.

As used in this disclosure and the appended claims, the singular forms "a", "an", and "the" are intended to include the plural forms as well, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise. It should also be understood that the term "and/or" as used herein refers to and encompasses any and all possible combinations of one or more of the associated listed items.
It is to be understood that although the terms first, second, third, etc. may be used herein to describe various information, such information should not be limited to these terms. These terms are only used to distinguish one type of information from another. For example, first information may also be referred to as second information, and similarly, second information may also be referred to as first information, without departing from the scope of the present disclosure. The word "if," as used herein, may be interpreted as "at \8230; \8230when" or "when 8230; \823030when" or "in response to a determination," depending on the context.
In the disclosed embodiments, the multi-card terminal may, but is not limited to, have the following multi-card problem:
first, in the process of communicating with the first system through one of the SIM cards, the multi-card terminal needs to keep timing to detect the second system, including but not limited to listening for paging messages, performing system measurements, reading system messages, and the like. This may have an impact on the communication performance of the first system.
The second problem is that the paging occasions are calculated according to the terminal identification, and the multi-card terminal has a plurality of SIM cards, so the corresponding paging occasions between different SIM cards are possibly the same, thereby causing systematic paging collision.
And thirdly, when the multi-card terminal communicates with the first system through one SIM card, the other SIM card monitors the paging message from the second system, and the multi-card terminal needs to determine whether to perform paging response on the paging message, wherein whether to perform paging response is performed based on a rule configured by a user at present.
And fourthly, when the multi-card terminal determines to respond to the paging message of the second system, the service currently carried out by the first system needs to be stopped. If there is no suspension mechanism for the current service, the multi-card terminal automatically disconnects RRC (Radio Resource Control) connection with the first system and leaves the first system. After the multi-card terminal leaves the first system, the first system can still continuously page the multi-card terminal, thereby causing the waste of paging resources.
The terminal can cause a short interval of the first system when the second system reads the paging or the system measurement, the duration is generally about 20ms (millisecond), but for the first system, shadow fading is equivalently experienced (in mobile communication, shadow effect caused by obstruction, received signal strength is reduced, but the median field strength changes slowly with geographical change, which is also called slow fading). Since a short interval occurs once per paging cycle, power control and link adaptation algorithms of the network may be affected, thereby causing a waste of resources of the first system.
Problem six, when the terminal determines to switch to the cell of the second system, the terminal needs to read the system information at the second system, so that a long interval of the first system is caused, the duration is generally about 1 second, and the first system may consider the long interval as an error condition. In the related art, neither the base station nor the terminal can handle this situation.
Seventh, the terminal may cause a longer interval of the first system in the process of performing TAU (Tracking Area Update) in the second system. The duration may reach several seconds, thereby having a greater impact on the first system.
In order to alleviate the above-mentioned multi-card problem of the multi-card terminal, the present disclosure provides the following scheme of information configuration and measurement reporting.
The method for configuring information provided by the present disclosure is described below from the base station side.

In the above embodiment, the base station may configure, for the multi-card terminal, target configuration information for instructing the multi-card terminal to perform measurement reporting related to one or more multi-card problems, so that the network side may determine the multi-card problem existing in the multi-card terminal, and may better solve the existing multi-card problem for the multi-card terminal subsequently.
In some optional embodiments, referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a method for configuring information according to an embodiment, which may be used for a base station, and the method may include the following steps:
in step 201, in response to determining that the multi-card terminal in the connected state has a multi-card problem, configuring target configuration information for the multi-card terminal, where the target configuration information is used to instruct the multi-card terminal to perform measurement reporting related to one or more multi-card problems.
In the above embodiment, the base station may configure the target configuration information for the multi-card terminal in the connected state with the multi-card problem, so that the multi-card terminal performs measurement reporting on one or more multi-card problems indicated by the target configuration information, thereby achieving the purpose of configuring the multi-card terminal on the network side to perform measurement reporting related to the multi-card problems, and simultaneously saving signaling resources of the base station, and having high availability.

In some optional embodiments, the target configuration information configured by the base station for the multi-card terminal includes at least one of: target measurement information related to the one or more multi-card issues for indicating that the multi-card terminal needs to measure; a threshold value used for triggering the multi-card terminal to report the measurement result related to the one or more multi-card problems; and the target measurement event is used for indicating the multi-card terminal to measure the target measurement information.
The target measurement information is specific measurement content related to a multi-card problem, which needs to be measured by the multi-card terminal, the threshold value can trigger the multi-card terminal to report a measurement result, and the target measurement event can be a measurement event for instructing the terminal to perform measurement related to the multi-card problem, which is agreed in a protocol.

As another example, the multiple multi-card problems specified by the base station include problem one and problem seven, and the multi-card terminal measures the base station information of the neighboring base stations that can solve problem one and problem seven. The base station information may include, but is not limited to, a base station identifier, base station system information, available interface information, cell signal quality, and the like.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the first base station capability refers to whether the neighboring base station has a capability of solving the multi-card problem, and the second base station capability is the multi-card problem that the neighboring base station having the capability of solving the multi-card problem can specifically solve. For example, the second base station capability indicates that the neighboring base station 1 can solve the above-mentioned multi-card problem two and multi-card problem three.
In another possible implementation manner, the target configuration information configured by the base station for the multi-card terminal indicates that the multi-card terminal measures and reports a plurality of multi-card problems, and the threshold values corresponding to different multi-card problems configured by the base station may be the same or different, which is not limited in this disclosure. Under the condition that the threshold values corresponding to different multi-card problems configured for the multi-card terminal by the base station are different, the lower the threshold value is, the fact that the base station hopes the multi-card terminal to report the measurement result of the multi-card problem corresponding to the threshold value as soon as possible is shown.
