Description

Cigarette type electronic cigarette with heat absorption filter
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a cigarette-type electronic cigarette having a heat absorption filter, and more particularly, to a cigarette-type electronic cigarette having a heat absorption filter capable of effectively reducing the temperature of air sucked into the oral cavity.
Background
Recently, due to the harmfulness of cigarettes, more and more people want to use electronic cigarettes that are relatively less harmful. Generally, cigarettes are not recommended as a favorite product frequently used by smokers, because they contain a large amount of various harmful substances harmful to the human body, such as nicotine, and induce various diseases, such as lung cancer and cardiovascular diseases (laryngeal cancer and buerger's disease caused by vasoconstriction). In addition, while smoking abstinence areas are gradually expanding because of the harm of second-hand smoke to people who do not smoke in the vicinity, smokers are also difficult to quit smoking due to their addictive properties.
Therefore, electronic cigarettes for assisting smoking cessation capable of achieving effects similar to those of actual smoking have recently been developed and marketed. Electronic cigarettes typically vaporize a essence with a flavor added to produce a vapor (smoke) as a substitute for existing cigarette smoke and in this way provide the user with a feeling similar to actual smoking.
At this time, the generated steam may contain or hardly contain substances such as nicotine, tar. Currently, products that are not harmful to the human body by using essence added with a fragrant component are on the market in large quantities, and the essence is vaporized to generate steam by an electric heating method using an electric heating wire or an ultrasonic vibration method in most cases.
Generally, an electronic cigarette is an electronic device for sucking a nicotine solution in a replaceable cartridge in a water vapor state, as an alternative to a smoking type cigarette such as a cigarette, a cigar, a pipe tobacco, or the like. When a user inhales the electronic cigarette, the atomizer is started to spray out a liquid smoke bomb which takes essence oil extracted from tobacco leaves as a main raw material in a mist shape, so that the user inhales water vapor which is harmless to the human body, and the visual effect and the taste effect which are the same as those of actual smoking are provided, so that the smoking habit is gradually eliminated.
The electronic cigarette is roughly divided into a tobacco juice type and a cigarette type. The cigarette liquid type electronic cigarette is smoked by heating a liquid containing nicotine, and the cigarette type electronic cigarette employs a principle of smoking by heating a plant stalk forcibly coated with nicotine or the like. As described above, unlike the conventional cigarette that is smoked by burning tobacco leaves, the smoking of harmful substances can be relatively reduced, and thus smokers who purchase electronic cigarettes are increasing. However, when smoking, the temperature of the electronic cigarette is too high, causing burning in the oral cavity, and cases of causing side effects such as inflammation, vomiting, and chest pain in the oral cavity are increasing.
A conventional filter of a cigarette-type electronic cigarette uses a film-shaped cooling filter. However, the film-like cooling filter has a problem that the moving distance of the high-temperature gas is short and the temperature cannot be reduced effectively. Therefore, there is a need for a filter that increases the moving distance of the high-temperature gas, increases the area in contact with the air as compared to a film-shaped cooling filter of the same length, and improves the cooling efficiency. This can have the effect of improving the cooling efficiency against the filter length to optimize the overall length of the electronic cigarette. In addition, the existing electronic cigarette has the problem of emitting peculiar fishy smell. There is no prior art concerning an electronic cigarette that removes such a smell, and therefore, there is currently a demand for an electronic cigarette that does not emit a smell peculiar to an electronic cigarette.

The location or arrangement of individual components of each disclosed embodiment can be modified without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. The following detailed description is, therefore, not to be taken in a limiting sense, and the scope of the present invention and all ranges equivalent to the appended claims are defined only by the appended claims, as interpreted properly. In the drawings, like numerals refer to the same or similar functionality throughout the several views.
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings so that those skilled in the art can easily practice the invention.
The cigarette type electronic cigarette adopts a mode of heating tobacco solid at high temperature by using electronic equipment to inhale nicotine vapor. The present invention is different from the conventional electronic cigarette using a liquid in that a cigarette (a cigarette made by wrapping tobacco with paper) is used as a general cigarette. Sold in korea are "IQOS" by philips and muris, and "Glo" by the british tobacco group (BAT). The cigarette type electronic cigarette has the characteristic of mixing the electronic cigarette and a common cigarette into a half.
The conventional electronic cigarette has a problem that the components of tobacco shreds heated to about 300 degrees, namely, vaporized nicotine and glycerin, are inhaled through the oral cavity, thereby causing damages such as inflammation and burn in the oral cavity.
The cigarette-type electronic cigarette having a heat absorption filter according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
First, fig. 1 shows a structure of a cigarette-type electronic cigarette having a heat absorption filter according to an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 2 shows the structure of polymer particles of a cigarette-type electronic cigarette having a heat absorbing filter according to an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 1 and 2, a cigarette-type electronic cigarette with an endothermic filter according to an embodiment of the present invention may include: tobacco shreds; a first filter part having a hollow tubular shape and allowing air containing the vaporized tobacco shred components to pass therethrough; a second filter part for guiding air to be inhaled into the oral cavity; and a heat absorption filter unit disposed between the first filter unit and the second filter unit, for cooling air from the first filter unit.
The cigarette portion of a cigarette-type electronic cigarette is called a cartridge (Stick). The structure of the cartridge is made up of a tobacco thread and a filter, whereas according to the invention the cartridge is made up of a tobacco thread and a plurality of filters.
The tobacco shred is prepared by air drying tobacco stem, and is coated with nicotine, glycerol and perfume. When the cut tobacco part is heated by a heating sheet or the like, glycerin, nicotine, and the like in the cut tobacco are vaporized and inhaled by a smoker.
According to the invention, a first filter part may be included, said first filter part being connected to the tobacco thread. The first filter part can function to guide the gas containing the vaporized tobacco shred components. In addition, the first filter part may have a hollow tubular shape.
In addition, according to the present invention, since the temperature of the components of the cut tobacco is excessively high when the components are vaporized, a heat absorption filter part capable of effectively reducing the temperature may be included. That is, an endothermic filter part for passing the gas and effectively reducing the temperature thereof may be connected to the first filter part.
In addition, according to the present invention, a second filter part may be included, which is connected to the heat absorbing filter part, for guiding the gas to be inhaled into the oral cavity. The temperature of the gas passing through the second filter portion may be lower than that at the first filter portion. That is, the temperature of the gas after passing through the second filtering part may be 30 to 65 ℃, preferably 40 to 63 ℃, and more preferably 60 ℃.
Further, according to the present invention, the endothermic filter unit may include a filter having at least one shape of a sphere, a tube, a film fragment, and a polyhedron having a uniform size, and preferably includes a filter having a shape of a sphere, a tube, a film, or a film fragment having a uniform size. In addition, a plurality of the film fragments may be included to closely fill the endothermic filter.
In addition, referring to fig. 5, 6a, 6b, 7a, and 7b, the filter may include at least one hole (hole) to increase porosity. When the filter material comprises at least one hole, the suction resistance can be greatly reduced, and the efficient cooling function of the porous polymer can be kept. In addition, referring to fig. 8a and 8b, the endothermic filter unit may include tubular or polygonal polymer particles having an endothermic pipe shape, which are obtained by cutting a polymer rod having an endothermic pipe shape by the same length.
Further, the more uniform the size of the constituent particles of the porous polymer made of cereal starch, the higher the porosity, and the lower the resistance to air intake. The ratio of the volume occupied by the pores to the total volume of the medium is called porosity. Among the media, a medium having pores is called a porous medium. The porosity (Φ) is expressed mathematically as shown in the following mathematical formula 1.
Mathematical formula 1
Figure BDA0002581546240000071
Wherein, VTDenotes the total volume of the medium, VVDenotes the volume of the pores, VSIndicating the volume of the solid outside the pores. Porosity represents a ratio and has a value between 0 and 1.
The filling ratio represents the volume occupied by atoms in the volume of the unit cell. The atoms are spherical, and thus, when a predetermined space is filled with atoms, the space cannot be completely filled with atoms alone. Therefore, there are voids between atoms in the space, and the atom filling ratio represents the portion of the space occupied by the atoms. In other words, the volume occupied by the atoms is divided by the total volume. The relationship between porosity and filling rate is shown in the following mathematical formula.
Mathematical formula 2
Porosity 1-filling factor
For example, in the body-centered cubic structure, the length of a diagonal line of a unit cell (one side is a) is 4 times the atomic radius (r), and the relationship between r and a is as follows.
Mathematical formula 3
Figure BDA0002581546240000072
Therefore, the filling ratio of the body-centered cubic structure was determined as follows.
Mathematical formula 4
Figure BDA0002581546240000073
That is, since the filling ratio of the body-centered cubic structure was 0.68, the porosity was 0.32. Among them, in order to increase the porosity, it is possible to make the constituent particles include at least one hole (hole), thereby remarkably increasing the porosity.
In addition, according to the present invention, the filter material is composed of a natural polymer material.
The natural polymer material of the present invention may include at least one of cereal starch, potato starch, and sweet potato starch, preferably cereal starch, and more preferably corn starch. The cereal may include at least one of rice, wheat, barley, oats, and corn.
The phenomenon that cereal starch is converted to dextrin (dextrin) when heated to 160 ℃ or higher without adding water is called dextrinization of starch. At this time, the amylose structure of starch is slightly broken to be shortened, and unlike the gelatinization reaction in which only a physical change occurs, it causes a chemical change and an endothermic reaction proceeds.
The gelatinization reaction is a reaction in which moisture is added to starch and heated to swell it and increase the viscosity to become a uniform colloidal form translucent as a whole, as one of endothermic reactions. In raw starch, starch molecules associate with each other to form tight bundles, called micelles (micelle), into which no water molecules can enter. When water is added and heat is applied, the micelle structure is dissolved, and therefore, the gap is expanded to generate a void, which is called swelling, and the phenomenon of sequential collapse from the outside of the micelle like this is called gelatinization.
Dextrinized cereals processed in such a way that starch undergoes partial hydrolysis as part of thermal decomposition by heating and swelling and is thus dextrinized (dextrinization) into a soluble dextrin state, i.e., dextrin has a smaller molecular weight than native starch and is less prone to an aging reaction. In addition to puffing, dextrinization of starch also occurs during frying of starch, but a porous structure such as charcoal is well formed by the puffing process. The puffed dextrinized cereal has plasticity as a porous structure, and can be made into a sheet by being crushed when pressed with a force of a predetermined magnitude or more or passed through a press roll. In addition, similarly to activated carbon, the porous structure of the puffed dextrinized cereal has excellent moisture absorption and adsorption functions, and can effectively remove the peculiar smell components of food and the like.
According to the present invention, the temperature that is first cooled by the dextrinization reaction may be second cooled by the gelatinization reaction. That is, the endothermic filter may include starch of cereal, and the temperature of the sublimated gas of about 300 ℃ initially is lowered to about 160 ℃ through the dextrinization endothermic process by the endothermic filter composed of the starch, and then lowered to about 60 ℃ through the gelatinization endothermic process. According to the invention, the dextrinization process and the gelatinization process may take place in one endothermic filter.
In addition, according to the present invention, since the temperature of the air containing the vaporized tobacco shred component is very high, the endothermic reaction including the dextrinization reaction of grains can be naturally caused without puffing the grain component to dextrinize or change to a porous structure, and the temperature of the air inhaled into the oral cavity can be effectively lowered by the endothermic reaction. In addition, the structure of the porous cereal can reduce the weight of the filter. Further, most of the offensive odors which are problems of the electronic cigarette are volatile components, and such a porous dextrinized cereal component can function as an effective odor adsorption material like charcoal.
According to the present invention, the filter material is capable of undergoing at least one endothermic reaction of a dextrinization reaction and a gelatinization reaction. According to the present invention, an endothermic reaction of corn starch, preferably at least one of a dextrinization reaction and a gelatinization reaction, can be used. When water is added to corn and heated, the starch is gelatinized, thereby generating viscosity, and the corn has good stability and strong adhesion. The gelatinization temperature of corn is 87 ℃, which is higher than the temperature of rice and potato starch, and the transparency of corn is lower than that of kudzu and potato starch in a gelatinization state.
In addition, according to the present invention, at least one pattern of an intaglio and an embossment may be formed on the surface of the filter medium.
The pattern may have a shape including at least one of a circle, a polygon, a water wave, a square grid, and a stripe.
In addition, according to the present invention, the endothermic filter unit containing the natural polymer material may have at least one of granular, powdery and film-like shapes according to the purpose of the filter. In addition, the film may comprise a segmented shape, i.e. a film fragment. Including the film fragments, the surface area contacting the air can be enlarged, and thus has the effect of reducing the temperature. In addition, the filter made of a porous polymer of corn polymer in grains can be solidified by a gelatinization process to be made into granules. Further, the heat absorbing filter may be a coarse powder cooling filter that is not solidified according to the purpose, and in this case, the heat absorbing filter can be solidified by the heat of the heater at the time of smoking.
According to the present invention, the moving distance of the air passing through the heat absorption filter unit can be increased by 1 to 3 times as compared with the moving distance of the air of the conventional cigarette filter. That is, a cigarette-type electronic cigarette having a length optimization effect can be manufactured by using the heat absorption filter.
Referring to fig. 4, the conventional film-like filter can be seen in the form of a cartridge, which is not a single cartridge but a single membraneThe sheet is formed by a plurality of dense folds. The length of contact between air and the polymer when the air moves in the longitudinal direction in the film-like filter is denoted by L, and the length of contact between air and the polymer in the porous filter is longer than L depending on the form of pores. The characteristics of the porous material are also affected by the porosity, and thus, when the porosity is sufficiently large, as shown in fig. 4, there are various air moving paths through the space of the porous polymer. That is, when the polymer moves linearly in the space so as to minimize the moving distance between pores in the polymer, the length of the polymer is increased
Figure BDA0002581546240000091
And (4) doubling. When air moves along the surface of the polymer particles existing in the pores, it moves the longest distance, which can be regarded as moving along the surface of the sphere, and its length is pi/2 times. Therefore, the arithmetic mean obtained is a value between 1.414 and 1.57, and therefore, the moving path of air in the porous polymer is about 1.5 times as long as that in the thin film, which is inventive.
In addition, the cigarette-type electronic cigarette with an endothermic filter according to the present invention may further include a heater main body.
Referring to fig. 3, the heater body may include a vaporization portion that can be combined with and separated from tobacco shreds of a cigarette part (cartridge) of a cigarette-type electronic cigarette. The vaporizing portion may include at least one of a heating sheet and a heating needle, and preferably a heating sheet.

Therefore, the embodiments disclosed in the present invention are not intended to limit but to explain the technical idea of the present invention, and the scope of the technical idea of the present invention is not limited to the embodiments.

As shown in table 1 above, the cigarette-type electronic cigarettes having the heat-absorbing filter according to examples 1 to 4 of the present invention satisfy flavor, ease of smoking, feeling of touch, and comprehensive taste. In particular, example 1 showed the highest score in terms of flavor, ease of smoking, feeling of touch, and overall preference, wherein the endothermic filter of example 1 comprised a spherical porous polymer of a predetermined size obtained by cutting a tubular polymer from corn as a raw material.
In addition, in example 1 including a porous polymer prepared from corn as a raw material and example 2 including a porous polymer prepared from rice as a raw material, although example 1 showed slightly higher results in terms of flavor, light smoking quality, feeling of touch, and overall preference, the results were entirely similar. However, the results of example 2 were higher in terms of aroma due to the rice-specific aroma of rice, but slightly lower results were exhibited in terms of light smoking volume and heat sensation.
In addition, example 3 in which the porous polymer was polyhedral in shape showed slightly lower results in terms of flavor, ease of suction, feeling of heat, and overall preference than examples 1 and 2, but showed significantly higher results than comparative example 1 in which the film-shaped filter was composed of a corn material.
In addition, example 4, in which the porous polymer was shaped into film pieces, showed similar results to example 1 in terms of flavor, light suction bulk, heat sensation, and overall taste, but showed significantly higher results than comparative example 1, which included a film-shaped filter of corn material.
Further, comparative example 1, which includes a film-shaped filter of corn material, showed significantly lower results in terms of flavor, ease of smoking, feeling of heat, and overall preference, and thus it was found that an electronic cigarette including a heat absorbing filter of sphere of a predetermined size and a porous polymer of polyhedron can satisfy all of flavor, ease of smoking, feeling of heat, and overall preference, as compared to the film-shaped polymer filter.
