Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of cultural relic artworks and artistic archaeological museums, in particular to a method for high-precision image acquisition, light output, color management, cultural relic image data processing, wall painting ground layer manufacturing and wall painting printing and copying of ancient wall paintings.
Background
The protection problem of ancient mural is always a major research topic which is puzzled to be solved urgently by the cultural relics department. The existing rich frescoes are more urgent and difficult to protect. The copying method and the new technical means are used for protecting the wall painting, and can be used as an application technology for truly recording the wall painting files, and also can be used as an auxiliary means for protecting and repairing the wall painting.
The establishment of a comprehensive and real mural image file is the basis of all researches and interpretations. Wall paintings are visual artistic images and are also image storage carriers of ancient documents. The past fresco files often use image log to illustrate the method of adding photos and copying. These methods certainly have some reference value, but have drawbacks in at least two ways: firstly, character recording and copying can cause 'recreating' deviation due to different knowledge and knowledge levels and high skill level of participants, and the true state of an object can not be reflected; secondly, the photo is used for reflecting the wall painting, and the dimension and the material of the wall painting are obviously different from those of the original wall painting, so that the psychological distance is easy to generate. The defects can be made up to the maximum extent by introducing the copy of the original, original color, original appearance and raw material into the work of wall painting data collection and wall painting archives, and a solid foundation is laid for future research and utilization of solid materials.
The design of new technical solutions for the copying of wall paintings that are simple and convenient to use and that are cost-effective to implement remains a endeavor of the person skilled in the art.

Detailed Description
The invention will be further described with reference to the drawings and detailed description.
The invention creates the design concept
Fig. 1 shows a schematic block diagram of the steps of a simplified flow of the method for copying a wall painting created by the present invention.
The fresco is attached to the building, and its fate is related to the security risk of ancient building. Once the ancient mural is disappeared, all the historical cultural information which it contains also disappears. The copying technology of the ancient torn wall painting, which is created by the invention, is applied to the field of wall painting protection and restoration, can truly record wall painting information, provides basis for wall painting protection and restoration, and becomes a new means and method. The method records the current situation of the mural and the pathological changes by means of high-precision acquisition, data processing, base layer manufacturing, UV printing technology and the like; and recording the damage distribution of the wall painting, and establishing complete files of ancient wall painting and endangered wall painting diseases according to specific conditions by matching with other means, and analyzing wall painting materials and structures through the images and information records, so that accurate basis and first hand materials are provided for wall painting restoration specialists and artistic and archaeological workers. Provides a feasible scheme for the exhibition of ancient frescoes. Ancient wall paintings are precious and fragile, are scattered in various places of the country, are inconvenient to traffic, and are very difficult to watch in the field. The wall painting is painted on a grotto or ancient architecture wall or applied to an ancient tomb, is generally huge, is attached to a wall body and is not movable, and the environment is influenced by on-site light and the like, so that the wall painting is almost impossible to watch comprehensively and carefully in a short period, and the spreading of the ancient wall painting is greatly limited and has heavy difficulty in propaganda, display and communication. The prior wall painting spreading and displaying means are mostly album prints and copy copies, and the limitation is obvious. The picture album print has great distance from the original wall painting in the aspects of picture size, material texture, tone atmosphere, definition and the like due to the characteristics and the limitations of the picture album print. Most of printed matters are local, cannot reflect the whole appearance of the wall painting, and have no site feel and visual impact of the wall painting; copy copies also have differences in copy quality due to cultural and artistic fostering and skill level of the copy.
The ancient wall painting copying technology of the invention adopts the ancient wall painting high-precision acquisition, data processing, wall painting ground layer manufacturing and UV printing copying technology, thereby not only having the precious property of the traditional technology, but also having scientific authenticity. Not only ensures the restoration of the height of the fresco replica, but also can objectively reflect the real appearance of the fresco. The copying technology of the ancient torn wall painting can centralize the wall paintings in different places to be displayed in a full-breadth and original large size, so that a viewer has the opportunity to carefully watch the wall painting in a short time. Such a way of presentation allows the viewer to gain valuable insight and harvest, whether from an artistic history perspective, aesthetic appreciation, and academic research. The ancient wall painting is copied and then used for exhibition, and a viewer does not need to visit an ancient building, a grotto temple or a tomb room, thereby playing an important role in protecting cultural relics, so that the digital protection of the ancient wall painting has milestone significance for the safety of the cultural relics, and plays a decisive role in protecting the cultural relics of the ancient wall painting.
Base layer for restoring ancient mural
Ancient mural ground layers mainly appear in ancient cultural relics, ancient tombs, ancient buildings, grottoes temple and the like in China.
The materials of construction of the wall base layer, or wall base layer plate, are shown in fig. 2, which are glue, sand, gypsum, respectively.
FIG. 3 shows a schematic diagram of the material of the mural base layer of the mural replication method of the present invention, which is clay, aluminum space honeycomb panel, respectively.
Manufacture of wall painting ground layer
FIG. 4 shows a schematic view of the clay layers of the wall painting reproduction method of the present invention, which are respectively first coarse clay layers, made of sand, clay, and glue; the second clay layer is prepared by mixing lime paste, mud and glue; the third lime layer is prepared by mixing lime paste and glue.
Advantages of the exhibits
a. Accuracy of restoring the color of wall painting
The accurate reproduction color is not only of great significance for truly reflecting the wall painting itself, but also is helpful for later splicing, and the splicing work is greatly facilitated. In the past, the accurate gray balance of the full picture is not possible by adopting the traditional silver salt film, so the inventor often finds that more or less chromatic aberration exists between two images at the later stage, which causes great difficulty to splicing work, but after the images are acquired through the digital back, the inventor can conveniently reach the preset color reduction index by introducing a special color control technology into the processing of the digital image file at the later stage. Each digital image and the special color description file generated for the image are stored together, so that the color of the wall painting can be accurately restored wherever possible.
b. Wall painting ground layer light weight
The aluminum honeycomb panel has the advantages of light weight, high strength, high rigidity and the like. The center is an aluminum hexagonal honeycomb, the density is small (about 3-7 kg per square meter), the weight of the aluminum hexagonal honeycomb is 1/5 of that of the building block plate with the same thickness and the same plane, 1/6 of glass and 1/7 of aluminum material are waterproof, dampproof and free from harmful gas release, the specific strength per unit mass is high, the specific rigidity is high (the structural rigidity is 1.7 times of that of a rib), the aluminum hexagonal honeycomb is not easy to deform, the defects of deformation, middle collapse and the like of other decorative plates when the single block area is large are completely overcome, the processing and application are convenient, the edge folding can be cut at will, the fluorocarbon coating on the surface can ensure that the service life of the product is more than 30 years, the surface of the aluminum honeycomb plate has extremely high flatness and good shock resistance
c. Firm and not easy to damage and fall off
The mural ground layer is made of natural materials, the lining board is made of aviation aluminum materials, and the aviation aluminum materials have a history of more than one hundred years and complete process flow, so that the mural ground layer and the aviation aluminum materials are organically combined together to form the mud board, and the mud board is firm and not easy to damage and fall off.
The wall painting of the tomb room adopts soil nearby the tomb room to manufacture a base layer.
The ancient building mural adopts the soil nearby the ancient building to make a base layer.
The wall painting of the stone cave temple is to use the soil near the stone cave temple to make the ground layer.
The inventors found that the soil in the areas of Gansu, tibet, shaanxi, shanxi, hebei, etc. is different in viscosity, texture and density. Therefore, it is very important to take the soil on site to make a base layer.
Data acquisition and processing
Fig. 5 shows a track splicing method acquisition schematic of the mural replication method created by the present invention.
a. Measures taken to obtain the dpi of the original mural
Digital back of Leaf Aptus 8000 ten thousand pixels using Cambo WDS back-shifting tablet professional camera
The acquisition file format uses RAW, the color gamut is Adobe RGB, the Schneider high definition large image field digital lens, and the German Kangsu spotlight is used for illumination; shooting sequentially from left to right in the shooting direction of the same row, determining sampling resolution, and calculating an actual shooting range according to the actual resolution; the overlapping of two adjacent images is 40% -50%, the number of shooting lines is calculated according to the length of the shot images, the actual shooting range and the overlapping rate, and shooting data are recorded in detail.
Distance of shooting
Under the condition of determining the specified sampling resolution, the inventor calculates the distance between the camera and the shot plane cultural relics according to the factors such as the effective pixels of the digital back, the effective area of the CCD, the lens and the like, when the 8000 ten thousand-pixel CCD is used, the shooting distance is about 2 meters away, and the acquired data has the accuracy of 400dpi.
Track splicing method shooting
Under the specified sampling resolution, the shooting object cannot be shot by one image due to the overlarge area, the shooting object is acquired by adopting a multi-image-field mode, the camera is parallel to the shot cultural relics, a plurality of images are shot, and the combined area is the whole picture of the wall painting in the tomb or the ancient building.
Degree of overlap
The overlapping ratio of two adjacent images reaches more than 40%, so that the situation of dislocation and insufficient drawing can not occur during splicing.
Image cropping
According to the characteristics of the lens and the digital back CCD, the shot single image only uses the image with higher middle quality to cut the part around the image so as to acquire the high level of the whole picture.
Large foot rest
The inventors used a large professional tripod approximately 3 meters high to mount a Cambo WDS back-shifting technology camera for capturing separate images.
b. Principle of protection
The non-contact type collection equipment is used, the collection process is not in physical contact with the cultural relics, the damage to the cultural relics is avoided, a continuous light source is not used, and the used German flash lamp has accurate color temperature and does not contain ultraviolet rays; the light is loaded with the UV-proof filter before, so that ultraviolet rays are effectively filtered, and the light source cannot damage cultural relics.
c. Color reproduction (color management)
The real painting art and the real color of the restored wall painting are the purposes of work. If color restoration is controlled, labor is saved in post-splicing work, so that a photographed image needs to be manufactured into a proprietary color Profile (ICC Profile). Before formal shooting, a color card is shot, and when the light source is changed, a color card needs to be shot again, and the color card file and the shot image file are stored together. After the color chart is shot, formal shooting work can be performed.
The SG color card must be collected before the mural is picked up. Fig. 6 shows a schematic diagram of SG color card used in the method of copying wall painting of the present invention.
A color management Profile (ICC Profile) of the camera is formulated using an X-rite professional color management device and software.
After the original mural painting is scanned in high definition and the high definition image data is processed, the inventor obtains a high-precision mural painting Tiff image file, and then the work of ink quantity test and ICC color control of a mural painting ground layer is carried out by using software, and the main steps are as follows:
1. and generating an ICC curve file from the color card file acquired by the inventor on site so as to control the real color range of the output.
And (3) shooting 140 colors of the standard color card by using the same digital camera, and comparing the difference between the true color value and the standard color value of the color card photo to generate a color ICC curve.
2. Color values RGB of pixel points corresponding to the blocks in the small red frames in the mural pictures are shown in the following table.
Fig. 7 is a schematic diagram showing the picture content of an original mural image file of the mural copying method of the present invention, wherein color values RGB of pixels corresponding to a block in a small red frame in the picture are listed below, and the RGB values are:
R | G | B |
95 | 46 | 44 |
fig. 8 shows a schematic diagram of ICC profile data of a digital camera color card file of the mural replication method created by the present invention.
As shown in fig. 9a, the data after compensation is performed on the color value rgb+icc characteristic curve data of the pixel point corresponding to the block in the small red frame in the mural picture, where the RGB values are as follows:
R | G | B |
114 | 56 | 54 |
UV printing
UV printing is performed on the mural base layer.
Fig. 10 shows a schematic diagram of the UV printing step of the mural replication method of the present invention, which finds UV printing on the mural ground layer.
After the high-definition acquisition of the original mural work and the processing of high-definition image data are completed, the inventor obtains a high-precision mural Tiff image file, and then the work of ink quantity test and ICC color control of a mural ground layer is carried out by using software, wherein the main steps are as follows:
a. ink quantity control
And debugging the UV printer, and controlling the ink quantity of the printer by using EFI software.
(1) The ink quantity control test card is printed, and the ink quantity range is preliminarily tested (200-400).
(2) According to the printed ink quantity control bar, ink quantity reading is performed (by a spectrophotometer), and then the ink quantity range is narrowed to perform the ink quantity control of the second step.

The ink quantity linearization file of the mural base layer and the color ICC characteristic file of the mural base layer are imported into EFI software to generate a combined data file image, which corresponds to a personalized printer driver and controls the printer.
And controlling the printer by using the ancient high-definition mural file pictures compensated by the ICC curve and by means of the personalized printer driver, and printing a copy close to a real mural on the manufactured mud board.
c. Precision of printing
1. And importing the data file into EFI software for UV printing and outputting with the accuracy of 180dpi.
2. Finally, the ink quantity control and the color management are carried out through EFI, and the obtained mural ICC color characteristic file and the mural base layer ink quantity value can be reproduced into ancient torn-off mural which is basically consistent with the original mural color and medium.
3. From the printing perspective, any material with a flat surface can be printed.
Because the UV ink is cured instantly in millisecond level, the UV ink can be cured and dried without special coating to form a picture. If the ink adhesion is not very strong, the adhesion to the ink is different because of the different surface energies of the different materials. The current solution in the industry is to apply a special coating treatment liquid on the surface of the material before printing so as to increase the surface energy of the material and improve the adhesive force (firmness) of the ink.
