Detailed Description
The package 1 is configured to allow a user to use the package 1 to apply the product initially contained in the package to an application surface on which the user wishes to apply the product. The package 1 is specifically designed to allow and/or facilitate such application: the application requires pressure or friction between the element for applying the product and the application surface. The element of the package 1 for applying the product is an absorbent element 52, the product being absorbed in the absorbent element 52. The absorption element 52 is very schematically represented in figures 1, 2, 3, 6, 8 and 9.
The package 1 comprises a semi-rigid structural sheet 2.
The package includes an opening system. The opening system comprises a weakening 3. The opening system is configured such that the weakening 3 allows a user to move the package 1 from a closed state to an open state. The weakening 3 is also configured to guide the movement of the package 1 from the closed state to the open state.
The weakening 3 comprises a line of weakness. The line of weakness is configured such that movement of the package 1 occurs about the line of weakness. The line of weakness is located on the structural sheet 2. The lines of weakness are made by micro-cutting and/or flattening of the material of the structural sheet 2.
The lines of weakness define tabs 6 on the structural sheet 2.
The package comprises a flexible cover sheet 4. The flexible cover sheet 4 is secured to the structural sheet 2 to form a space V. The space V is interposed between the structural layer 2 and the cover sheet 4. The space V is closed in the closed state of the package. The space V is visible in the cross-section in fig. 3.
The line of weakness divides the structural sheet 2 into a first region 21 and a second region 22. The first region 21 and the second region 22 are shown in fig. 4 and 5. The second region 22 is also shown in fig. 6. Fig. 4 shows the package 1 from below and thus from the side of the structural sheet 2 facing the opposite side with respect to the space or covering sheet. In fig. 4, the package 1 is in a closed state as in fig. 1 to 3. Fig. 5 shows the package 1 in an intermediate state between the closed state and the open state, for example during movement from the closed state to the open state. Fig. 6 shows the package 1 in an open state.
The first region 21 comprises a main portion 211 and a tab 6. The webs 6 thus belong to the first region 21 of the construction sheet 2 or lie on the first region 21 of the construction sheet 2.
The tab 6 protrudes from the first region 21 towards the second region 22 in the closed state of the package 1.
The package includes a system for applying the product. The application system is configured to allow the user to perform the above-mentioned application when the package 1 adopts the open state and by means of the package 1 itself. The application system is located in the space V in the closed state of the package 1.
The application system comprises an applicator 5. The applicator is indicated in fig. 1 and 2 by a dashed line, since it is covered by a covering sheet 4. Fig. 9 shows the applicator 5 alone. Fig. 3 and 8 show the applicator 5 according to the cross section III-III of fig. 2. In fig. 6 the applicator 5 is shown. The applicator 5 holds the product in place in the space V, at least in the closed state. The applicator 5 also holds the product in place in the open state of the package 1 and during the movement of the package 1 from the closed state to the open state.
The application system and the opening system are configured such that in the open state at least a portion of the applicator 5 protrudes outside said space V. In the open condition of the package 1, the applicator 5 protrudes from the space V to allow the user to apply the product by moving said at least one portion of the applicator 5 into contact with the above-mentioned application surface.
The user can easily handle the package 1 to apply the product.
For example, the product may be a solid lipstick.
At least a portion of the applicator 5 comprises at least an application element or an absorbing element 52.
In the closed state of the package 1, at least a part of the applicator 5 is located on the tab 6. In this way, when the package 1 is in the open condition, at least a portion of the applicator 5 is positioned to facilitate the above-mentioned application of the product by the user, who can easily apply the product by generating a suitable movement of at least a portion of the applicator 5 to come into contact with the application surface and/or simultaneously pressing at least a portion of the applicator 5 suitably against the application surface, by manipulating at least a portion of the applicator 5 directly or via the tab 6.
The applicator 5 comprises a support 51 and an absorbing element 52. The support 51 supports the absorbing element 52. The absorbing element 52 is fixed to the support 51. The application system and the opening system are configured such that the closed state of the package 1 corresponds to a first position of said absorbent element 52 with respect to said space V. In a first position of the absorbing element 52 relative to the space V, as shown for example in fig. 1 to 3 and 8, the absorbing element 52 is located inside the space V. In this first position, the absorbing element is inside the space V together with the entire applicator 5.
The application system and the opening system are configured such that said open state of the package 1 corresponds to a second position of said absorbent element 52 with respect to said space V. In a second position of said absorbing element 52 with respect to the space V (shown in fig. 6), the absorbing element 52 is outside said space V. Thus, in the open state of the package 1, at least the absorption element 52 is located outside the space V.
The application system and the opening system are configured such that in the open state of the package 1 the absorbent element 52 directly faces the outside of the package 1.
This facilitates the operation for applying the product by the user, who can easily manipulate the absorbent element 52. With the interposition of the support 51 and, if necessary, of the tab 6, the user can manipulate the absorbent element 52 to apply the product precisely in the desired manner on the application surface.
The absorbing element 52 is fixed and/or positioned on the support 51 so that, in the open condition of the package 1, the user can rub the absorbing element 52 on the surface by manipulating the support 51 in order to spread the product on the application surface.
The application system is configured such that the support 51 extends across said tab 6 and said main portion 211 of the first region 21 in the closed state of the package 1 so as to define a first portion 511 and a second portion 512 of the support 51. The first and second portions 511, 512 of the support 51 are shown in fig. 4 and 7 to 9.
In this closed state, the first portion 511 of the support 51 is located on the tab 6. The absorbing element 52 is fixed and/or positioned on the first portion 511 of the support 51. The second portion 512 of the support 51 is located on the main portion 211 of the first region 21 of the structural sheet 2.
The opening system and the application system are configured such that said movement of the package 1 ensures that the tab 6 is completely separated from the second region 22 of the structural sheet 2. Thus, in the open condition of the package 1, the application or absorption element 52 remains in a good uncovered condition, to facilitate the application of the product by the user. In particular, the use of the package 1 for the purpose of applying the product is facilitated if the product to be applied is a lipstick or a similar product which the user wishes to apply to their lips and which requires, for its correct application, the application element to be pressed against the application surface and at the same time to be moved relative to the application surface.
The line of weakness comprises a first lateral segment 31. The line of weakness includes a second lateral segment 32.
The line of weakness comprises a central section 33. The positioning of the central section 33 is particularly visible in fig. 4. The central section 33 is interposed between the lateral sections 31 and 32.
The lateral sections 31 and 32 delimit the main portion 211 of the first region 21 of the structural sheet 2. The central section 33 depicts a groove relative to the lateral sections 31 and 32, so that the central section 33 delimits and defines the tab 6.
In particular, the opening system is configured such that, after said movement of the pack 1, the central section 33 breaks, so as to completely separate the tab 6 with respect to said second region 22 of said structural sheet 2.
It is contemplated that the movement of the package 1 from the closed state to the open state is obtained by the user by applying a rotational moment to the structural sheet 2 and the cover sheet 4 about a line of weakness defining the tab 6, the support member 51 being positioned on the tab 6, the support member 51 in turn comprising, as described above, a first portion 511 positioned on the tab 6, and a second portion 512 positioned on the main portion 211 of the first region 21 of the structural sheet 2. The positioning of the first portion 511 and the second portion 512 of the support 51 is such that, during movement of the structural sheet 2 and the covering sheet 4, with this rotational moment, the support 51 facilitates the breaking of the central section 33 of the line of weakness, so that the tab 6 is at least partially, preferably completely, detached from the second region 22 of the structural sheet 2. In this way, in addition to supporting the application element 52 (which in turn keeps the product in position and allows application), the support 51 also performs the function of promoting the separation of the tabs 6, in order to optimize the positioning of the application element 52 in the open condition of the package 1 for the purpose of this application.
The application system comprises a restraint 53. The support 51 is connected or fixed to said structural sheet 2, in particular to the first region 21 of the structural sheet 2, by means of a constraint 53. The constraint 53 preferably extends only over the transition area between said first portion 511 and second portion 512 of the support 51. Thus, the end portions of the first and second portions 511 and 512 are not covered. In this way, the operations for obtaining the constraint 53 are saved and the function of breaking of the auxiliary central section 33, which is at least partially performed by the support 51, is improved. In particular, if it extends only in the transition region between the first portion 511 and the second portion 512, the constraint 53 practically defines a hinge line between the structural sheet 2 and the support 51, and preferably between the first region 21 of the structural sheet 2 and the support 51. The hinge line is located along the transition between the tab 6 of the first region and the main portion 211.
The restraining member may be a weld line interposed between the first portion 511 and the second portion 512 and/or between the tab 6 of the first region 21 of the structural sheet 2 and the main portion 211.
The support 51 and the structural sheet 2 are fixed to each other on respective faces both made of polypropylene or polyethylene or polylactic acid. In this way, the operation for obtaining the weld is facilitated.
The package 1 can be used to contain a single dose of product for single use of the product, which is held in place by the absorbent or spreading element 52 and is absorbed in the absorbent or spreading element 52. The package 1 is also configured to allow such use to be carried out by means of the package 1 itself, in particular and advantageously if the correct use of the product requires its application on the application surface by moving the application element and pressing it on the application surface. For example, the product may be a solid or liquid lipstick.
The single-dose package may be opened with one hand and is configured to allow a user to perform application of the product on an application surface by using the package. The packaging is designed to permit and/or facilitate such application: the application requires pressure or friction between the element for applying the product and the application surface. The element for applying the product is an absorbent element in which the product is absorbed.
