Background
A vacuum cleaner is an apparatus for removing garbage and cleaning a room, and is generally used at home. The vacuum cleaner sucks air by using a suction force of the fan motor unit and separates garbage from the sucked air by using a device such as a filter, thereby cleaning a room. Vacuum cleaners are classified into cylinder type and upright type. In recent years, a robot cleaner has been popular, which can walk over an area to be cleaned and suck garbage such as dust from the area, thereby performing a cleaning operation by itself without a user operation.
In order to filter out the dust contained in the suction air, the vacuum cleaner includes therein a dust collecting device to filter out the dust by a predetermined filtering apparatus. The filter device for filtering out the garbage in the dust collecting device comprises: a porous filtering unit in which air passes through the porous filter and garbage is forcibly filtered; and a cyclone dust collecting apparatus for filtering the garbage in the cyclone air flow.
For the vacuum cleaner, dust such as human hair or animal hair is entangled on the dust collecting device during filtering the dust, and thus the user should manually separate the dust from the dust collecting device, which causes insanitation and difficulty in using the vacuum cleaner.
The above information is presented as background information only to aid in the understanding of the present disclosure. It is not determined nor asserted whether any of the above is useful as prior art with respect to the present disclosure.

Other aspects, advantages, and salient features of the disclosure will become apparent to those skilled in the art from the following detailed description, which, taken in conjunction with the annexed drawings, discloses various embodiments of the disclosure.
Advantageous effects
As apparent from the above description, since the dust collector slides the handle with respect to the dust collecting device, the dust removing member connected to the handle can separate the dust attached to one side of the filtering apparatus, and thus the dust collector can easily discharge the dust collected in the dust collecting device.
Further, when the dust removing member protrudes out of the dust collecting device by sliding the handle after separating the dust collecting device from the conveying apparatus, the dust chamber is opened. Therefore, the dust can be prevented from scattering when the dust chamber is emptied.
Since only the handle for sliding the debris removal member is exposed to the outside of the dust collection device, the dust collector can prevent the remaining debris from being exposed to the user, which may occur due to the sliding movement of the debris removal member.
Since the cleaner has a relatively simple configuration and a portion of the link is positioned inside the housing, the size of the cleaner can be reduced.
The cleaner may have a relatively low center of gravity, and thus may improve convenience of use.
Since the opening and closing member for opening and closing the dust chamber operates together with the garbage removing member, the dust collector can prevent the dust chamber from being unintentionally opened.

The second garbage removing member 134 may include a second contact portion 134a protruding toward the inner wall of the chamber housing 111 b. The second contact portion 134a may be formed to include a material having elasticity. The second contact portion 134a may include a flexible material. The second contact portion 134a may be in close contact with the inner wall of the chamber housing 111 b.
The second debris removal member 134 may include a chamber opening 134b, the chamber opening 134b being formed to allow the second dust chamber 122 to communicate with the dust guide 118. The garbage separated from the garbage separator 123 may move to the dust guide 118, and the dust guide 118 may guide the garbage to the second dust chamber 122 through the chamber opening 134 b.
According to the above-described configuration, when the cleaner 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure performs a cleaning operation, the air containing the garbage introduced from the suction head 10 may be first filtered by the filtering device 113 of the first dust chamber 121. Thereafter, the air moved to the dust separator 123 through the transfer passage 117 may be filtered by the dust separator 123 for a second time and then collected in the second dust chamber 122. The air passing through the trash separator 123 may pass through the air passing opening 123c and be filtered by the filtering member 124 for the third time, and then the filtered air may be discharged to the outside through the discharge port 102.
Fig. 7 is a view illustrating a state in which dust is collected by the dust collecting device of the dust collector of fig. 4 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
Fig. 8 is a cross-sectional view of the dust collection device of fig. 6, according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
The driving of the cleaner 1 will be described in detail with reference to fig. 7 to 8.
Referring to fig. 7, when the cleaner 1 performs a cleaning operation, the fan motor unit 104 may generate suction inside the cleaner 1. As the suction force is generated, air containing the garbage on the surface to be cleaned is moved to the dust collecting device 100 by the transfer apparatuses 10 and 20.
The first cover 116 may open the chamber inlet 114a when suction is generated inside the cleaner 1. Air containing garbage is introduced into the first dust chamber 121 through the chamber inlet 114a. The air containing the garbage in the first dust chamber 121 may be first filtered by the filtering apparatus 113. The trash filtered by the filtering device 113 is collected in the first dust chamber 121. The air containing the waste and passing through the filtering device 113 moves to the transfer passage 117.
The air passing through the transfer passage 117 flows into the garbage separator 123 through the cyclone opening 123 a. The air containing the garbage may be secondarily filtered by cyclone in the garbage separator 123. The garbage separated by the garbage separator 123 is collected in the second dust chamber 122 through the dust guide 118. The air passing through the dust separator 123 may move toward the filter member 124 through the air passing opening 123 c.
The air containing the trash and passing through the trash separator 123 passes through the filtering member 124. The air subjected to the third filtering by the filtering member 124 passes through the communication port 119a of the second cover 119 and is then discharged to the outside of the dust collecting device 100 through the discharge port 102.
Since the cleaner 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure filters the air containing the garbage three times using the above-described configuration, the cleaning efficiency can be improved.
Referring to fig. 8, when the cleaner 1 completes a cleaning operation and it is required to discharge the garbage collected in the dust chamber 120, the dust collecting device 100 can be separated from the transfer apparatuses 10 and 20. Further, the connection port 106 may be separated from the housing 111 of the dust container 110. The user can move the handle 131 forward. As the handle 131 slides forward along the housing 111, the link 132 moves forward.
As the link 132 is guided by the guide 112 and moves forward, the first and second trash removing members 133 and 134 disposed at the end of the link 132 may slide forward in a state of being in close contact with the inner surfaces of the chamber housing 111b and/or the filtering apparatus 113.
The first dust removing member 133 slides in the inner surface of the filtering apparatus 113 and separates the dust placed in the filtering apparatus 113 from the filtering apparatus 113, thereby discharging the dust to the outside of the first dust chamber 121. For this reason, the first trash removing member 133 may be moved to a position protruding to the outside of the housing 111.
In this case, the opening and closing member 114 may open the first dust chamber 121 by being pressed by the first dust removing member 133. The opening and closing member 114 may be elastically biased in a direction of closing the first dust chamber 121 by an elastic member (not shown).
The second garbage removing member 134 may push garbage collected in the second dust chamber 122 to the outside of the housing 111 while sliding in close contact with the chamber housing 111b and the filtering apparatus 113. Since the second trash removing member 134 slides in close contact with the inner surface of the filtering apparatus 113, the second trash removing member 134 can perform the second treatment of the trash entangled on the inner surface of the filtering apparatus 113.
According to this configuration, the dust collector 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure can easily discharge the dust in the dust collecting device 100 by a simple operation. In addition, by using the opening and closing member 114, even when the dust collecting device 100 is separated from the conveying apparatuses 10 and 20, the dust can be prevented from scattering.
Further, since the cleaner 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure can minimize the exposure of the remaining dust to the user when the dust chamber 120 is emptied, the cleanliness in use can be improved. That is, with the dust collector 1 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the handle 131 is a component exposed to the user among components of the debris remover 130, and the handle 131 is connected to the first debris removal member 133 and the second debris removal member 134 by the link 132 inserted into the guide 112 so as not to be exposed to the user. Accordingly, although the link 132 and the first and second trash removing members 133 and 134 are contaminated when trash is discharged, they are not exposed to the user, and thus cleanliness in use can be improved.
In addition, when the filter member 124 needs to be replaced, the user separates the driver 140 of the dust collecting device 100 from the dust container 110 and opens the second cover 119 to open the inside of the housing 111. Accordingly, the user can easily replace the filter member 124 disposed inside the housing 111.

The fan motor unit 240 may be disposed inside the housing 211 while being mounted to the extension member 230.
Fig. 12 is an enlarged view of portion B of fig. 11, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
Fig. 13 is an enlarged view of portion C of fig. 11 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
Referring to fig. 12 and 13, the dust collecting device 210 and the extension member 230 will be described in detail.
The dust collection device 210 may include a first dust chamber 210a and a second dust chamber 219, the second dust chamber 219 being positioned downstream of the first dust chamber 210a in a direction in which air introduced from the suction head 30 is discharged through the discharge port 216.
The housing 211 of the dust collecting device 210 may form part of the external appearance of the cleaner 2. The outer shell 211 together with the inner shell 212 may form a shell drainage path 210b. The housing flow path 210b may direct air passing through the first dust chamber 210a to the second dust chamber 219.
The inner housing 212 may be disposed inside the outer housing 211. The first dust chamber 210a may be formed inside the inner case 212. The filtering apparatus 213 may be disposed inside the inner housing 212. The first dust chamber 210a may collect the dust filtered when the air introduced through the suction head 30 passes through the filtering apparatus 213.
The filtering apparatus 213 may first filter out the trash contained in the air introduced through the suction head 30. The filtering apparatus 213 may extend along a portion of the inner surface of the inner housing 212. The trash filtered by the filtering apparatus 213 may be collected in the first dust chamber 210 a. The filtering apparatus 213 may be formed of a mesh member.
The inner housing 212 may include a first housing opening 212a through which air passing through the filtering apparatus 213 moves to the housing drainage path 210b. The filtering apparatus 213 may be disposed to cover a portion of the inner case 212 where the first case opening 212a is formed.
The inner housing 212 may include a second housing opening 212b through which air guided by the housing drainage path 210b flows into the garbage separator 251.
The air introduced into the garbage separator 251 through the second case opening 212b may be filtered by the garbage separator 251 for the second time. The garbage filtered by the garbage separator 251 may be collected in the second dust chamber 219. The air filtered by the trash separator 251 may move toward the fan motor unit 240.
The extension member 230 may include an opening and closing device 260 configured to open and close the first dust chamber 210a. The opening and closing device 260 may be disposed at an end of the extension member 230 facing the suction head 30. The opening and closing apparatus 260 may interlock with the first waste removal member 270 and/or the second waste removal member 275. Since the opening and closing apparatus 260 is interlocked with the first dust removing member 270 and/or the second dust removing member 275, the first dust chamber 210a can be prevented from being unintentionally opened, so that the dust chambers 210a and 219 can be opened only when the dust needs to be discharged. The opening and closing apparatus 260 may include an opening and closing member 261, an opening and closing cover 262, and an opening and closing sealing member 263.
When the first dust removing member 270 is slidably moved out of the first dust chamber 210a, the opening and closing apparatus 260 is moved in a direction away from the dust collecting device 210 to open the first dust chamber 210a. When the first dust removing member 270 is slidably moved into the first dust chamber 210a, the opening and closing apparatus 260 is moved in a direction approaching the dust collecting device 210 to close the first dust chamber 210a.
The opening and closing member 261 can open and close the first dust chamber 210a based on the sliding movement of the extension member 230 with respect to the dust collection device 210. The opening and closing member 261 may include a chamber inlet 261a, the chamber inlet 261a being formed to allow air introduced from the suction head 10 to flow into the first dust chamber 210a. The chamber inlet 261a may be opened and closed by an opening and closing cover 262.
The opening and closing cover 262 may be formed to include a material having elasticity. Opening and closing the cover 262 may open the chamber inlet 261a in a direction in which air flows into the first dust chamber 210a. Further, opening and closing the cover 262 may prevent the chamber inlet 261a from opening in a direction opposite to a direction in which air is introduced from the first dust chamber 210a. That is, when the cleaner 2 sucks the dust on the surface to be cleaned, the opening and closing cover 262 may open the chamber inlet 261a, but at the same time, the opening and closing cover 262 may prevent the chamber inlet 261a from opening in a direction in which the dust is discharged from the first dust chamber 210a. Therefore, the cleaner 2 can prevent dust from scattering when the dust collecting device 210 is separated from the suction head 30.
The opening and closing cover 262 may include a cover fixing portion 262a. When the fan motor unit 240 generates suction, the opening and closing cover 262 may be elastically deformed while the cover fixing portion 262a is fixed, and then the opening and closing cover 262 may open the chamber inlet 261a. When the fan motor unit 240 generates no suction force, the opening and closing cover 262 may be returned to a position closing the chamber inlet 261a by elastic force.
The opening and closing sealing member 263 may be provided to seal between the dust collecting device 210 and the opening and closing member 261. The opening and closing sealing member 263 may be disposed along an edge of the opening and closing member 261. The opening and closing sealing member 263 may be formed to include a material having elasticity. The opening and closing sealing member 263 may be formed to include a material more flexible than the opening and closing member 261. The opening and closing sealing member 263 may be in close contact with the inner surface of the inner case 212 and may seal the first dust chamber 210a. Therefore, the cleaner 2 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure may prevent the leakage of the dust from the first dust chamber 210a.
The extension member 230 may include a first dust removing member 270 configured to discharge dust in the first dust chamber 210a. The first dust removing member 270 may slide in the first dust chamber 210a. The first garbage removing member 270 may include a first mounting portion 271 and a first garbage removing portion 272 mounted on the first mounting portion 271.
The first garbage removing part 272 may be formed to include a material having elasticity. The first garbage removing part 272 may be formed to be in close contact with the inner wall of the filtering apparatus 213. The first trash removing part 272 may be disposed to be in close contact with one surface of the filtering device 213 where the filtered trash is located. When the extension member 230 slides with respect to the dust collection device 210, the first dust removing part 272 may slide in a state of being in close contact with the inner surface of the filtering apparatus 213. Based on the sliding movement of the extension member 230 toward the inside of the dust collecting device 210, the first dust removing part 272 may remove dust such as hair entangled on the inner surface of the filtering apparatus 213 by scraping the inner surface of the filtering apparatus 213.
The first dust removing member 270 may be moved from a first position between the filtering apparatus 213 and the dust separator 251 to a second position protruding outside the dust collecting device 210. Accordingly, the first dust removing member 270 may discharge the dust placed in the first dust chamber 210a to the outside. Further, as the first dust removing member 270 protrudes to the outside of the dust collecting device 210, dust collected in the second dust chamber 219 may be discharged to the outside.
The extension member 230 may include a first connection 269 connecting the first debris removal member 270 to the opening and closing apparatus 260. The first connection portion 269 may be disposed in the first dust chamber 210 a. The first waste removing member 270 and the opening and closing apparatus 260 may be interlocked with each other by the first connection portion 269.
The discharge opening 268 may be formed between the plurality of first connection portions 269. A discharge opening 268 may be formed between the first debris removal member 270 and the opening and closing apparatus 260. When the opening and closing apparatus 260 opens the first dust chamber 210a and the first dust removing member 270 discharges the dust in the first dust chamber 210a, the dust may be discharged to the outside through the discharge opening 268.
The extension member 230 may include a trash separator 251. The garbage separator 251 may include a cyclone. The garbage separator 251 may centrifugally separate garbage, which is not filtered out in the first dust chamber 210a, from air. Since the dust separator 251 separates dust from air passing through the filtering apparatus 213 in a different manner from the filtering apparatus 213, the cleaner 2 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure may improve cleaning efficiency.
The extension member 230 may include a second dust removing member 275 configured to discharge dust in the second dust chamber 219. The second dust removing member 275 may be configured to slide in the second dust chamber 219 and the first dust chamber 210 a. The second dust chamber 219 may be formed between the first dust removing member 270 and the second dust removing member 275. The second garbage removal member 275 may include a second installation portion 276 and a second garbage removal portion 277 installed on the second installation portion 276.
The second garbage removing part 277 may be formed to include a material having elasticity. When the extension member 230 slides with respect to the dust collecting device 210, the second dust removing part 277 may slide in close contact with the inner surface of the inner housing 212 to discharge the dust in the second dust chamber 219. Based on the sliding movement of the extension member 230 with respect to the dust collection device 210, the second dust removing part 277 may discharge all the dust in the second dust chamber 219 by sliding in close contact with the inner surface of the inner housing 212.
The extension member 230 may include a second connection 279 that connects the first debris removal member 270 to the second debris removal member 275. The second connection portion 279 may be disposed in the second dust chamber 219. The second debris removal member 275 and the first debris removal member 270 may be interlocked with each other by a second connection portion 279.
The extension member 230 may include a dust guide 252, the dust guide 252 being configured to guide the dust separated in the dust separator 251 to the second dust chamber 219. The dust guide 252 may be provided in a tapered shape in which its radius decreases toward the second dust chamber 219.
Extension member 230 may include a fan motor housing 241 slidably inserted into inner housing 212. The fan motor unit 240 and the motor filter 246 may be disposed in the fan motor case 241.
The motor filter 246 may be provided to filter out the trash contained in the air again before the air is introduced into the fan-motor unit 240. The motor filter 246 may be disposed in front of the fan motor unit 240 in a direction in which the air passing through the garbage separator 251 is discharged through the discharge port 216. A motor filter 246 may be disposed between the fan motor unit 240 and the garbage separator 251. The motor filter 246 may filter out the garbage contained in the air passing through the garbage separator 251. Motor filter 246 may be formed from a mesh member. Motor filter 246 may be disposed inside housing 211 while being mounted on extension member 230. By using the motor filter 246, the cleaner 2 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure can prevent the fan-motor unit 240 from being damaged by dust, and thus, the cleaner 2 can discharge relatively clean air through the discharge port 216.
The fan motor unit 240 may be configured to provide suction to the first dust chamber 210a and the second dust chamber 219. The air passing through the motor filter 246 may be moved to the discharge member 242 after passing through the fan motor unit 240. The fan motor unit 240 may be disposed closer to the opening and closing device 260 than the handle 233. The fan motor unit 240 may be disposed at opposite lower sides of the extension member 230. For the cleaner 2 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure, the fan motor unit 240, which is relatively heavier than the battery 203a, may be located below the battery 203a, and thus the center of gravity may be located relatively downward. Therefore, the cleaner 2 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure may have a relatively low center of gravity, so that convenience of use may be increased.
A drain member 242 may be provided to communicate with the drain port 216. Air introduced into the discharge member 242 through the fan motor unit 240 may be guided to the discharge port 216 by the discharge member 242.
The cleaner 2 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure may be provided such that the inside of the fan motor case 241 of the extension member 230, in which the fan motor unit 240 is disposed, is separated from the battery mounting portion 236. That is, the air guided by the fan motor unit 240 is directly discharged through the discharge port 216 without moving to the battery mounting part 236 and the handle 233. Accordingly, the cleaner 2 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure can minimize the amount of air discharged toward the user.
According to the above-described configuration, when the cleaner 2 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure performs a cleaning operation, the air containing the garbage introduced from the suction head 30 may be first filtered by the filtering apparatus 213 of the first dust chamber 210 a. Thereafter, the air moved to the dust/garbage separator 251 through the case drain path 210b may be filtered a second time. The air filtered by the dust/garbage separator 251 may be collected in the second dust chamber 219. The air passing through the dust/garbage separator 251 may be filtered a third time by passing through the motor filter 246, and then the filtered air may pass through the fan motor unit 240. The air passing through the fan motor unit 240 may be discharged to the discharge port 216 through the discharge member 242.
Fig. 14 is a view illustrating a state in which dust is discharged in a dust collecting device of the dust collector of fig. 1 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
Fig. 15 is a cross-sectional view of a portion of the cleaner of fig. 14, in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure.
Fig. 16 is a cross-sectional view of a button apparatus of the cleaner of fig. 14 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
Referring to fig. 14 and 15, when the user intends to discharge dust collected in the dust collecting device 210 after the cleaning operation is completed, the user can slide the extension member 230 with respect to the dust collecting device 210 by applying a force to the extension member 230. In this case, the user may move the button 218 to move the extension member 230.
Referring to fig. 13 to 16, the button device 217 may include a button 218, a fixing member 221, and an elastic member 220.
The button 218 may be disposed on an outer wall of the dust collecting device 210. The button 218 may be located at the rear surface of the dust collecting device 210. The button 218 may be configured to be movable relative to the dust collection device 210. When the user intends to remove dust inside the dust collection device 210 by sliding the extension member 230 with respect to the dust collection device 210, the user can press and move the button 218. The button 218 may include a pressing portion 218a, the pressing portion 218a being configured to press the fixing member 221 to allow the fixing member 221 to be inserted into the insertion groove 231b of the extension case 231 of the extension member 230.
The button 218 may be elastically biased by an elastic member 220 to a position for pressing the fixing member 221. Accordingly, after the dust inside the dust collecting device 210 is discharged, the extension member 230 may slide in a direction to be removed with respect to the dust collecting device 210, so that the fixing member 221 is again inserted into the insertion groove 231 b. In this case, the button 218 may be returned to its original position by the elastic member 220.
The fixing member 221 may fix the extension member 230 to the dust collection device 210 or release the fixation between the extension member 230 and the dust collection device 210 according to the movement of the button 218. The fixing member 221 may be inserted into the insertion groove 231b of the extension case 231.
The elastic member 220 may elastically bias the button 218 to a fixed position to fix the extension member 230 to the dust collection device 210. One end of the elastic member 220 may be fixed to the button fixing portion 211a of the housing 211, and the other end thereof may be fixed to the button 218.
In accordance with the movement of the button 218, a space in which the fixing member 221 moves is formed in the button 218. In this state, when a user applies a force to the extension member 230, the fixing member 221 is separated from the insertion groove 231b and moves toward the button 218. As a result, the extension member 230 may slide into the dust collection device 210.
When the extension member 230 slides inside the dust collection device 210, the opening and closing device 260 disposed at one end of the extension member 230 opens the first dust chamber 210a, the first dust removing member 270 slides in one surface where the dust of the filtering device 213 is located, and the second dust removing member 275 slides in one surface where the dust of the filtering device 213 is located and the inner surface of the second dust chamber 219. The first dust removing member 270 may separate the dust placed in the filtering apparatus 213 and discharge the dust to the outside of the first dust chamber 210 a. The second dust removing member 275 discharges the dust in the second dust chamber 219 to the outside, and at the same time, the second dust removing member 275 may perform a second separation of the dust placed in the filtering apparatus 213 and discharge the separated dust to the outside of the first dust chamber 210 a.
For this, the first and second dust removing members 270 and 275 may be moved to a position protruding outside the dust collecting device 210. Further, the extension member 230 may move to expose only the opening and closing apparatus 260 to the outside of the dust collection device 210, and not expose the first and second dust removing members 270 and 275 to the outside of the dust collection device 210. Alternatively, the extension member 230 may move to expose only the opening and closing apparatus 260 and the first dust removing member 270 to the outside of the dust collecting device 210, and not expose the second dust removing member 275 to the outside of the dust collecting device 210.
When the dust discharge in the dust chambers 210a and 219 is completed, the user can move the extension member 230 in a direction to be removed from the dust collection device 210. Accordingly, the opening and closing apparatus 260 moves to a position for closing the first dust chamber 210 a. Further, the button 218 moves and presses the fixing member 221 by the elastic member 220 so as to be inserted into the insertion groove 231 b. Accordingly, the position of the extension member 230 with respect to the dust collection device 210 is fixed.
According to this configuration, the dust collector 2 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure can easily discharge the dust in the dust collecting device 210 through a relatively simple operation. In addition, since the opening and closing apparatus 260 is configured to open and close the dust chambers 210a and 219 only when dust in the dust collection device 210 is discharged, it is possible to prevent dust from scattering even when the dust collection device 210 is separated from the suction head 30.
While the present disclosure has been shown and described with reference to various embodiments thereof, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes in form and details may be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure as defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
