Detailed Description
The following describes in detail embodiments of the present invention with reference to the drawings. It should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating the preferred embodiment of the invention, are given by way of illustration and explanation only, not limitation.
In a Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) system, a terminal is required to have extremely Low Power consumption due to Low rate and Low frequency of a service, and energy saving becomes an important requirement of the terminal. An Extended discontinuous reception (eDRX) mode is one of the methods for reducing energy consumption of a terminal, and the basic principle of the method is to require a terminal device to periodically enter a sleep mode, during the sleep mode, the terminal does not monitor a physical downlink control channel, and a transceiver unit is turned off to reduce energy consumption of the terminal device. Generally, an energy-saving method in the LPWAN affects the performance of a service in the aspect of time delay, and eDRX gives consideration to requirements in the aspects of power consumption and time delay compared with other energy-saving methods, and is suitable for services which have certain requirements on time delay while having low power consumption in services of the internet of things, such as a general remote operation scene.
The user terminal comprises the mobile equipment and a Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM) card. The USIM card is a continuation and progress of the SIM card used in a Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) network, and is used to store user identity information and personal data and guarantee security of access to Mobile network services. The USIM card can utilize necessary functions and data to perform user identification and user authorization when the user accesses the mobile network service, and the requirement that the mobile network can express and identify the user application is realized. In contrast to the SIM Card, the USIM Card is no longer built on a single telecommunications application platform, but will become one of a variety of applications residing on a Universal Integrated Circuit Card (UICC). The UICC is a universal intelligent card platform, provides uniform bottom layer support for upper layer application, and can reside other intelligent card applications such as bank, ticket and the like besides the USIM, thereby really realizing the separation of the bearing platform and the application.
In eDRX, when a mobile device in a user terminal is about to enter an extended discontinuous reception mode, a corresponding process is performed on a USIM card, and the USIM card is required to be switched from an active and normal operation state to a suspended state. The USIM card may also provide a corresponding suspend function to support implementation of eDRX, for example, after the USIM may receive a suspend command sent by the mobile device, suspend the original active state and the existing session, and store the existing state. After the USIM card is recovered from the suspend to suspend state, the stored state may be restored to a new session.
However, the current actual service process often faces a relatively complex situation, and the command of suspending the USIM from the suspension may cause normal service interruption, which affects the operation state of the USIM and causes poor user experience.
In order to solve the foregoing problems, an embodiment of the present invention provides a USIM card management method, which is applied to a Mobile Equipment (ME) of a User Equipment (UE), where the User Equipment includes a Mobile Equipment and a USIM card.
Fig. 1 is a USIM card management method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the method comprises the steps of:
step S101, under the condition that the USIM card supports the extended discontinuous reception mode, generating a status inquiry command and sending the status inquiry command to the USIM card.
The extended discontinuous reception mode is a mode of saving energy consumption of the ue.
In one embodiment, in case that the mobile device generates a requirement for entering the extended discontinuous reception mode, the mobile device performs the above-mentioned step S101, generates a status inquiry command in case that the USIM card supports the extended discontinuous reception mode, and transmits the status inquiry command to the USIM card.
The status inquiry command is a command sent by the mobile device to the USIM card to request the USIM card to determine whether it is currently able to immediately execute the suspend pending command based on the current status of the application it hosts, and includes: command Class (CLA), command description (INS), command parameters (P1, P2) and maximum allowed response message length (Le).
In one implementation scenario, the Status query command may be named "Get sustension Status". The command structure may be set as follows:
name(s) Length of Description of the invention Value of
CLA 1 Command class 00
INS 1 Instruction description 79
P1 1 Command parameter 1 00
P1 1 Command parameter 2 00
Le 1 Maximum allowable response message length 02
In one embodiment, after receiving the status inquiry command sent by the mobile equipment, the USIM card generates a status response message in response to the status inquiry command based on the current status of the application carried by the USIM card.
The current state of the application borne by the USIM card includes an idle state, a running state, and the like. The status response message includes status indication information indicating a status indication that the USIM card is currently performing the suspend command. The status indication information includes information that the suspend to suspend command can be immediately executed or information that the suspend to suspend command cannot be immediately executed to indicate whether entry into the extended discontinuous reception mode can be immediately triggered.
In an embodiment, when the current states of the applications borne by the USIM card are all idle states, in the state response message generated by the USIM card, the state indication information is information that can immediately execute a suspend command, that is, indicates that the extended discontinuous reception mode can be immediately triggered to enter. The structure of the status response message is as follows:
name (R) Length of Description of the preferred embodiment Value of
Status 1 Status indication information 01
The value of the status indication information is 01, which means that the status indication information is information that can immediately execute the suspend to pause command.
In another embodiment, in the case that the current state of the application hosted by the USIM card includes a running state, in the state response message generated by the USIM card, the state indication information is information that the suspend command cannot be immediately executed, that is, indicates that entry into the extended discontinuous reception mode cannot be immediately triggered. The structure of the status response message is as follows:
name(s) Length of Description of the invention Value of
Status 1 Status indication information 00
The value of the status indication information is 00, which means that the status indication information is information that the suspend to suspend command cannot be immediately executed.
In some implementation scenarios, the application hosted by the USIM card is currently in a service processing procedure, for example, in a case that the application of the internet of things hosted by the USIM card is in an interaction procedure with the service platform, the status indication information is information that the suspend command cannot be immediately executed in the status response message generated by the USIM card.
In other implementation scenarios, the application hosted by the USIM card is currently in an automatic configuration process, for example, in a case that the application hosted by the USIM card is about to be or has been subjected to remote downloading, updating, and the like, the status indication information in the status response message generated by the USIM card is information that the suspend command cannot be immediately executed.
In one embodiment, the current state of the application borne by the USIM card is a running state, but after the duration is estimated, the current state of the application borne by the USIM card may be restored to an idle state, and then the state response message generated by the USIM card may include state indication information and delayed execution time information, so as to improve flexibility and extensibility of the USIM card for eDRX support. The state indication information is information that a suspend command cannot be executed immediately, and the delayed execution time information is used for enabling the mobile device to know that the current state of the application carried by the USIM card is recovered to an idle state after the duration is estimated, that is, indicating that the extended discontinuous reception mode can be triggered to enter after the duration is estimated. The structure of the status response message is as follows:
name(s) Length of Description of the preferred embodiment Value of
Status 1 Status indication information 00
Duration 1 Delaying execution time information 01-FF
Wherein the value of the delay execution time information may represent the estimated duration.
After generating the status response message, the USIM card transmits the status response message to the mobile device for the mobile device to perform step S102 described below.
And step S102, receiving a status response message returned by the USIM card.
And step S103, extracting the state indication information from the state response message, and sending a suspend command to the USIM card to enable the USIM card to execute the suspend command under the condition that the state indication information indicates that the USIM card can be immediately triggered to enter the extended discontinuous reception mode.
Wherein the suspend pending command is a command for the mobile device to instruct the USIM card to enter the extended discontinuous reception mode.
In one embodiment, the USIM card receives the suspend to suspend command and executes the suspend to suspend command, enters an extended discontinuous reception mode, i.e., the USIM card suspends the original active state and the existing session, and stores the state of the existing session, so that after the USIM card recovers from the suspend to suspend state to the original active state, the stored state of the existing session can be restored to a new session.
The USIM card management method provided by the embodiment of the invention comprises the steps of firstly, generating a state inquiry command under the condition that the USIM card supports the extended discontinuous receiving mode, and sending the state inquiry command to the USIM card instead of directly sending a suspension suspending command to the USIM card, so that the USIM card operation blocking and normal service interruption caused by directly executing the suspension suspending command by the USIM card are avoided. And then, receiving a status response message returned by the USIM card, extracting status indication information from the status response message, and sending a suspend command to the USIM card under the condition that the status indication information indicates that the USIM card can be immediately triggered to enter an extended discontinuous reception mode, so that the USIM card executes the suspend command, the problem that the service is easy to interrupt because the USIM card supports eDRX in the current service scene is solved, the rationality and feasibility of the eDRX service can be improved, the initiative and flexibility of the USIM in the eDRX service aspect are enhanced, the support of the USIM to the eDRX is realized with high quality, and the requirements of a user terminal on service realization and energy saving and consumption reduction are simultaneously taken into account.
Fig. 2 is another USIM card management method according to an embodiment of the present invention. Currently, some USIM cards can support extended discontinuous reception mode, while some USIM cards do not support extended discontinuous reception mode. As shown in fig. 2, before the mobile device executes the above step S101, and generates a status inquiry command and sends the status inquiry command to the USIM card in a case that the USIM card supports the extended discontinuous reception mode, the mobile device further includes:
step S201, obtaining EF UMPC A file.
Wherein, EF UMPC The File is the maximum power consumption Elementary File (EF) of the USIM card. The mobile device can pass through the USIM card obtains EF corresponding to the USIM card UMPC A file.
Step S202, according to EF UMPC And the file identifies whether the USIM card supports an extended discontinuous reception mode, if so, the step S101 is executed, and if not, the process is ended.
In one embodiment, EF UMPC The file includes a predetermined field. Mobile device according to EF UMPC The file, the step of identifying whether USIM card supports extended discontinuous reception mode, includes: identifying a first preset character bit in a preset field as a first preset value or a second preset value, if the first preset character bit is identified as the first preset value, identifying that the USIM card supports an extended discontinuous reception mode, and executing a step S101; if the USIM card is identified as the second preset value, identifying that the USIM card does not support the extended discontinuous reception mode, and ending the process.
In one embodiment, after recognizing that the USIM card supports the extended discontinuous reception mode, the mobile device further needs to determine whether the state of the USIM card needs to be acquired before executing step S101 described above, that is, in the case that the USIM card supports the extended discontinuous reception mode, and before transmitting the state inquiry command to the USIM card, specifically: and identifying that a second preset character bit in the preset field is a first preset value or a second preset value, and if the second preset character bit is the first preset value, indicating that the state of the USIM card needs to be acquired, so as to execute the steps of generating a state inquiry command and sending the state inquiry command to the USIM card. If the second preset character bit is the second preset value, it indicates that the state of the USIM card does not need to be acquired, so that the mobile device executes the existing process, that is, directly sends a suspend command to the USIM card, so that the USIM card executes the suspend command.
In one embodiment, the first preset value is 1, and the second preset value is 0.
In one implementation scenario, EF UMPC The structure of the file is as follows:
Figure BDA0003065986760000091
Figure BDA0003065986760000101
wherein the extra information comprises 8 character bits, b1, b2, b3, b4, b5, b6, b7, b8, for example, in an EF format UMPC In the document, b1b2b3b4b5b6b7b8= X1100000. The preset field is a field corresponding to the extra information. The first preset character bit is adjacent to the second preset character bit, the first preset character bit is a character bit corresponding to b2, the value of b2 indicates whether the USIM card supports an extended discontinuous reception mode (eDRX), the second preset character bit is a character bit corresponding to b3, and the value of b3 indicates whether the USIM card needs to acquire the state of the USIM card first and then triggers the eDRX under the condition that the USIM card supports the extended discontinuous reception mode (eDRX). This embodiment enables EF UMPC The extra information of the file is originally reserved in the bit b3, which is used to indicate whether the suspend command needs to be sent after the state of the USIM card is obtained first, i.e., eDRX is triggered, in the case that the USIM card supports eDRX.
Fig. 3 is a diagram of another USIM card management method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 3, after the mobile device extracts the status indication information from the status response message, the method further includes the following steps:
step S301, under the condition that the status indication information indicates that the extended discontinuous reception mode cannot be triggered immediately, determining whether the status response message further includes delayed execution time information.
In the case where the status response message does not include the delayed execution time information, it indicates that the USIM card has no evaluation capability, or that it is difficult to estimate how long to execute the suspend command without causing service interruption based on the evaluation capability even if there is evaluation capability. Therefore, in the case where the status response message does not contain the delayed execution time information, the mobile apparatus does not transmit the suspend command to the USIM card, and the flow ends. In the subsequent process, the mobile device may perform step S101 again as needed, and repeat the process.
Step S302, in a case where the status response message contains the delayed execution time information, transmits a suspend command to the USIM card based on the delayed execution time information, so that the USIM card executes the suspend command.
Wherein the latency execution time information comprises an estimated duration.
In one embodiment, the step of the mobile device sending a suspend command to the USIM card based on the delayed execution time information includes: after the estimated duration, a suspend command is sent to the USIM card.
It should be noted that after the duration is estimated, the current state of the application borne by the USIM card may be restored to the idle state, and at this time, a suspend command is sent to the USIM card, so that the blocking of the USIM card in operation and the interruption of normal service can be avoided, the problem that the service is easily interrupted due to the support of eDRX by the USIM card in the current service scene is solved, the rationality and feasibility of the eDRX service can be improved, the initiative and flexibility of the USIM in the eDRX service are enhanced, the support of the eDRX by the USIM is realized with high quality, and the requirements of the user terminal on both the service realization and the energy saving and consumption reduction can be considered at the same time.
An embodiment of the present invention provides a mobile device, as shown in fig. 4, where the mobile device includes: a generating module 41, a sending module 42, a receiving module 43 and a processing module 44.

In one embodiment, the mobile device further comprises: the device comprises an acquisition module and an identification module. Wherein, the obtaining module is used for generating the USIM card sending and generating module 41 by the sending module 42 under the condition that the USIM card supports the extended discontinuous reception modeBefore the status query command, the EF is acquired UMPC A file; the identification module is used for identifying the EF UMPC And the file identifies whether the USIM card supports the extended discontinuous reception mode.
In one embodiment, EF UMPC The file contains a preset field. The identification module is based on EF UMPC And the file identifies whether the USIM card supports the extended discontinuous reception mode, specifically identifies that a first preset character bit in a preset field is a first preset value or a second preset value, and identifies that the USIM card supports eDRX if the first preset character bit is the first preset value.
The identifying module is further configured to identify that a second preset character bit in the preset field is a first preset value or a second preset value before the sending module 42 sends the status query command generated by the generating module 41 to the USIM card under the condition that the USIM card supports the extended discontinuous reception mode, and if the second preset character bit is the first preset value, the generating module 41 is triggered to execute the step of generating the status query command, and the sending module 42 executes the step of sending the status query command to the USIM card. If the second predetermined character bit is the second predetermined value, the sending module 42 is triggered to send a suspend command to the USIM card, so that the USIM card executes the suspend command.
In an embodiment, after the processing module 44 extracts the status indication information from the status response message, in case that the status indication information indicates that the entering of the extended discontinuous reception mode cannot be triggered immediately, the processing module 44 further determines whether the status response message includes delayed execution time information, and in case that the status response message includes the delayed execution time information, triggers the sending module 42 to send a suspend command to the USIM card based on the delayed execution time information, so that the USIM card executes the suspend command.
The operation manner of the mobile device provided in this embodiment corresponds to each step in the USIM card management method applied to the mobile device, and therefore, for a detailed operation manner of each module in the mobile device provided in this embodiment of the present invention, reference may be made to the USIM card management method applied to the mobile device provided in this embodiment.
