Description

High-sustained-viscosity SIS hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to a pressure-sensitive adhesive, in particular to a high-sustained-viscosity SIS hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive has wide application fields, including the fields of packaging products, sanitary products, adhesive labels, medical products, textile products, daily necessities, special materials and the like. The main raw materials of the hot melt adhesive are basic resin, tackifying resin and other additives, such as plasticizer, anti-aging agent, antioxidant and the like. In the base resin, a thermoplastic elastomer, particularly an SIS thermoplastic elastomer, is often used as a base material. SIS, namely styrene-isoprene-styrene segmented copolymer, is used for enhancing cohesive strength, film forming property and the like in a glue matrix. One important feature of hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives is the ability to be thermally processed to facilitate coating in the molten state, yet to rapidly solidify upon cooling to accomplish rapid bonding. The SIS midblock polyisoprene has a side chain methyl group in the structure, so that the SIS midblock polyisoprene has good cohesive force and excellent adhesive property and good compatibility with other additives, and therefore, the SIS hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive has better initial adhesive property than SBS (styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer) hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive.
The tackifying resin is another most important component of the pressure-sensitive adhesive besides the main elastomer, and its main function is to impart the necessary tackiness to the pressure-sensitive adhesive. Just because of the tackifying resin mixed in the rubber elastomer, the mixed system generates necessary initial adhesion and adhesive force on the surface of the bonded material, so that the bonded material becomes a real pressure-sensitive adhesive. Common tackifying resins are rosin resins, terpene resins or petroleum resins.
The finished hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive does not contain organic solvents generally, and is green and environment-friendly. At present, a hot melting method is generally adopted for preparing the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive, and the method is solvent-free, environment-friendly and energy-saving, but has poor temperature resistance and can not meet the market demand of high permanent adhesion. Therefore, there is a need to develop a new SIS hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive with higher tack retaining performance.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at the technical problems, the invention provides an improved high-sustained-adhesion SIS hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive which has good physical property, higher sustained-adhesion property and high peel strength.
The specific technical scheme is as follows: a high-sustained-viscosity SIS hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive comprises the following components in parts by weight:
15-40 parts of SIS thermoplastic elastomer
10-30 parts of special tackifying resin
2-8 parts of epoxy resin
20-80 parts of toluene
The special tackifying resin is a condensation product of butyl phenol and acetylene.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the butyl phenol and acetylene condensate is commercially available from KORESIN tackifying resins of BASF. The softening point of the special tackifying resin is 135-150 ℃. The condensation compound of butyl phenol and acetylene can be effectively dissolved in toluene solvent, and the tackifying resin can withstand the test of high-temperature and high-humidity environment, has short-term or long-term adhesiveness, strong adhesive capacity and small influence on the performance of rubber elastomer.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the high sustained adhesion SIS hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive comprises, by weight:
20-35 parts of SIS thermoplastic elastomer
15-25 parts of special tackifying resin
3-7 parts of epoxy resin
30-65 parts of toluene.
In a more preferred embodiment of the present invention, the high sustained adhesion SIS hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive comprises, by weight:
SIS thermoplastic elastomer 25 parts
20 parts of special tackifying resin
5 parts of epoxy resin
And 50 parts of toluene.
Without being limited by theory, the hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive prepared from the star-shaped structure SIS has the characteristics of low melt viscosity, high permanent viscosity, high peel strength and high softening point. And the block ratio of the SIS is increased, the initial viscosity of the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive is reduced, the permanent viscosity is increased, the melt viscosity is reduced, and the softening point is increased. As the molecular weight of the SIS increases, the initial viscosity of the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive is reduced, the permanent viscosity is increased, the melt viscosity is increased, and the softening point is increased. With the decrease of the content of the diblock, the initial tack, the permanent tack and the 180 DEG peel strength of the hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive decrease.
Therefore, in a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the SIS thermoplastic elastomer is dominated by star-shaped structures and the content of linear structures is 20% or less. The block ratio S/I of the SIS thermoplastic elastomer is not less than 30/70, and the content of the diblock is not more than 5%. The SIS thermoplastic elastomer has a relative molecular mass of 10 to 20 ten thousand.
The invention also aims to provide a preparation method of the high sustained viscosity SIS hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive, which comprises the following steps:
(1) preparing materials, namely weighing the SIS thermoplastic elastomer, the special tackifying resin, the epoxy resin and the toluene in specified parts by weight;
(2) adding toluene into a reaction kettle, sequentially adding the special tackifying resin and the SIS thermoplastic elastomer under a stirring state, and uniformly stirring to obtain a material A;
(3) and pumping the material A into a preparation kettle, adding epoxy resin and other auxiliaries, uniformly stirring, and coating to obtain the high-sustained-viscosity SIS hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive finished product adhesive tape.
Specifically, the other auxiliary agents include, but are not limited to: plasticizers, colorants, fillers, carbon black, silica, initiators, and the like.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the high sustained-viscosity SIS hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive is coated by a coating machine, and the coating machine is also provided with an activated carbon adsorption recovery processing device which can recover solvent toluene.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive tape comprising a substrate selected from tissue paper, cloth or plastic film. More specifically, the substrate is coated with the high-tack SIS hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive.
The beneficial technical effects of the invention are as follows:
1. the invention adopts a solvent method to prepare the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive, the viscosity of the adhesive is moderate, and the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive is beneficial to coating.
2. According to the invention, the performance parameters of the SIS thermoplastic elastomer are optimized and selected, the SIS thermoplastic elastomer with a large block ratio and the tackifying resin with a high softening point are arranged in a certain parameter range, the hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive prepared by the hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive has better temperature resistance, and other physical properties are stably improved.
3. According to the invention, a small amount of epoxy resin is added into the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive, so that the high-temperature adhesion maintaining performance of the hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive is further improved.
4. The coating machine provided by the invention is provided with the activated carbon adsorption recovery processing device, so that the solvent can be recovered and reused, the cost is reduced, and a sustainable development path is taken.
