Abstract
The invention provides an industrial personal computer which comprises a case, a main board, a patch panel, a plurality of expansion supports and a plurality of expansion IO modules, wherein the expansion IO modules are respectively installed on the expansion supports, the patch panel is electrically connected with the main board and the expansion IO modules, and the expansion IO modules are provided with a plurality of expansion IO interfaces. The invention adopts a modular design, separates the main board from the expanded IO module and realizes electrical connection through the adapter board, thereby realizing expansion of IO interfaces with different quantities and meeting the requirement of customizing the expanded IO interfaces by users. And because the extension IO interface of user's customization is realized through extension IO module, the structural arrangement of mainboard is relatively more fixed so, need not to change the structural layout of mainboard according to user's different IO interface demands to reduce the kind and the customization configuration of mainboard development, and then shorten development cycle and reduce development cost.

In order to achieve the purpose, the invention provides an industrial personal computer which comprises a case, a main board, a patch panel, a plurality of expansion supports and a plurality of expansion IO modules, wherein the expansion IO modules are respectively arranged on the expansion supports; the main board, the adapter board and the plurality of expansion supports are all positioned in the case, and the adapter board is electrically connected with the main board and the plurality of expansion IO modules;
the integrated IO module is characterized in that an integrated IO interface is arranged on the mainboard and only comprises a basic IO interface, and a plurality of expansion IO interfaces are arranged on the expansion IO module.
The mainboard is provided with a slot, one end of the adapter plate is provided with a plug, and the electrical connection between the mainboard and the adapter plate is realized by inserting the plug into the slot;
the adapter plate and the plurality of expansion IO modules are electrically connected through a plurality of cables respectively.

the expansion IO module is provided with an input port; one end of each cable is electrically connected with the switching port, and the other end of each cable is electrically connected with the input ports of the expansion IO modules respectively, so that the electrical connection between the switching board and the expansion IO modules is realized.
The switching port and the input port both comprise a plurality of pins, and the number of the pins of the switching port is more than that of the input port, so that one ends of a plurality of cables can be simultaneously electrically connected with the switching port, and the other ends of the cables are respectively electrically connected with the input ports.
The basic IO interfaces comprise an AUDIO interface, an RJ45 interface, a USB3.0 interface, a USB2.0 interface, a COM interface, a VGA interface and a DC JACK.
The expansion IO module is a USB expansion module, a COM port expansion module or a combination thereof; the expansion IO interface is a USB interface arranged on the USB expansion module and a COM interface arranged on the COM interface expansion module.
The plurality of expansion IO modules comprise two USB expansion modules and two COM port expansion modules; the USB expansion module is provided with four USB interfaces, and the COM interface expansion module is provided with four COM interfaces.
The USB interface is a USB3.0 interface.
The chassis comprises a side wall, wherein the side wall comprises a basic area and an expansion area positioned above the basic area; the plurality of expansion brackets are fixedly arranged in the expansion area; the basic IO interface is located in the basic area, and the extended IO interface is located in the extended area.
The expansion support is provided with a connecting hole, the expansion area is correspondingly provided with a through hole, and the expansion support and the side wall are fixedly installed by penetrating a locking screw through the connecting hole and the through hole.

Referring to fig. 1 to 11, the present invention provides an industrial personal computer, which includes a case 5, a main board 1, a patch panel 2, a plurality of expansion brackets 30, and a plurality of expansion IO modules 3 respectively mounted on the plurality of expansion brackets 30. The main board 1, the adapter board 2 and the plurality of expansion brackets 30 are all located in the case 5. The adapter board 2 is electrically connected with the main board 1 and the plurality of expansion IO modules 3.
Specifically, a slot 11 is formed in the motherboard 1, a plug 21 is arranged at one end of the adapter board 2, and the electrical connection between the motherboard 1 and the adapter board 2 is realized by inserting the plug 21 into the slot 11.
The adapter plate 2 and the plurality of expansion IO modules 3 are electrically connected through a plurality of CABLE lines (CABLE lines) 4 respectively.
Specifically, an integrated IO interface is further arranged on the motherboard 1, the integrated IO interface only includes a standard basic IO interface 12, and the basic IO interface 12 includes an AUDIO interface (AUDIO interface), two RJ45 (network cable interfaces), two USB3.0 interfaces, four USB2.0 interfaces, a COM interface, a vga (video Graphics array) interface, a DC JACK (direct current socket), and the like. Of course, the number and type of the basic IO interfaces 12 may be changed according to the requirement, and the present invention is not limited thereto.
The expansion IO module 3 is provided with a plurality of expansion IO interfaces 31.
Specifically, the adapter plate 2 is provided with a control chip 23 and an adapter port 22 far from one end of the plug 21, and the control chip 23 is used for controlling the output of the adapter port 22. The switching port 22 can be electrically connected to several cables 4 at the same time.
The expansion IO module 3 is provided with an input port 32; one end of each of the cables 4 is electrically connected to the corresponding switching port 22, and the other end of each of the cables is electrically connected to the corresponding input port 32 of the corresponding expansion IO module 3, so that the corresponding switching board 2 and the corresponding expansion IO modules 3 are electrically connected.
Specifically, each control chip 23 controls the output of at most four expansion IO interfaces 31, and the number of the required expansion IO interfaces 31 is different due to different requirements of users, so that a proper number of control chips 23 need to be configured according to different numbers of expansion IO interfaces 31, thereby implementing output control of all expansion IO interfaces 31. I.e. the number of said control chips 23 may be one or several. When the number of the control chips 23 is several, each control chip 23 correspondingly controls one transfer port 22, so that the output of the plurality of expansion IO interfaces 31 of the plurality of expansion IO modules 3 is controlled through each transfer port 22 via the plurality of cables 4.
Specifically, the extended IO module 3 is a USB extended module 33, a COM port extended module 34, or a combination thereof. Accordingly, the expansion IO interface 31 is a USB interface 331 provided in the USB expansion module 33, and a COM interface 341 provided in the COM interface expansion module 34.

Each COM port expansion module 34 is provided with four COM ports 341, and each COM port 341 corresponds to one input port 32. The number of the control chips 23 is four, and the four control chips correspondingly and respectively control the outputs of the four transfer ports 22, and the four transfer ports 22 are respectively electrically connected to the two USB expansion modules 33 and the two COM port expansion modules 34. Each USB expansion module 33 is electrically connected to the adapter board 2 through two cables 4, that is, one end of each cable 4 is electrically connected to the adapter port 22, and the other end is electrically connected to two input ports 32 on the USB expansion module 33. Each COM port expansion module 34 is electrically connected to the patch panel 2 through four cables 4, that is, one end of each cable 4 is electrically connected to the patch port 22 at the same time, and the other end is electrically connected to four input ports 32 on the COM port expansion module 34.
It is understood that, in this alternative embodiment, the transit port 22 and the input port 32 each include a plurality of pins (pin pins), and the transit port 22 includes a larger number of pins than the input port 32, so that one end of the plurality of cables 4 can be electrically connected to the transit port 22 at the same time, and the other end is electrically connected to the plurality of input ports 32 on the extended IO module 3 respectively.
Specifically, the chassis 5 includes a sidewall 51, and the sidewall 51 includes a base region 511 and an extension region 512 located above the base region 511. The plurality of expansion brackets 30 are fixedly mounted to the expansion region 512.
