The top image 402-1 is an example of a top image in a case where the viewpoint is "recommended program in summer".
The size of the top image 402 is arbitrary, and for example, the size of an icon image of highly topical and specific recommendation information may be increased. Or the size of the icon image of the recommendation information having high seasonality or short-term stability may be increased.
The keyword 401 is a keyword for searching for a program or moving image content recommended to the user in accordance with the viewpoint of the recommendation information. The keyword 401 is a word indicating the characteristics of a program or moving image content, such as a title, genre, a person who appears, a name of a specific scene, and the like, which is suggested to the user to view. The keyword 401 may be set to 1 or more. The keyword 401-1 is an example of a keyword in a case where the viewpoint is "recommended program in summer".
The processing information 403 is information describing processing for searching for and extracting a program or moving image content corresponding to the keyword 401 included in the recommendation information as a program or moving image content recommended to be viewed by the user in the display control means 324 of the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140. The program and moving image content of the retrieved and extracted object may be a part of the program and moving image content received by the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140. For example, among the programs and moving picture contents received by the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140, only the recorded programs may be searched for and the program corresponding to the keyword 401 included in the recommendation information may be extracted. Alternatively, among the programs and moving image contents received by the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140, only the program of the specific channel included in the recorded program may be searched for and the program corresponding to the keyword 401 included in the recommendation information may be extracted. Process 1(403-1) is an example of processing information in the case where the viewpoint is "recommended program in summer".
Similarly, the example of fig. 4 shows the top image 402-2, the keyword 401-2, the processing information 403-2 in the case where the viewpoint is "special program of the present week", the top image 402-3, the keyword 401-3, and the processing information 403-3 in the case where the viewpoint is "recommendation of tomorrow".
Fig. 5 is a display example of a case where the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 according to the embodiment of the present invention analyzes the content of the selection screen delivered from the cloud service server 120 by the display control means 324 and displays the selection screen 500 on the display device 340.
The broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 can configure the selection screen 500 on which the user can intuitively select a program to be viewed, using the recommendation information included in the display information of the selection screen content.
The top image 510 of the "recommended program in summer" in the selection screen 500 in the example in fig. 5 is an example in which the display control means 324 uses the keyword 401-1, the top image 402-1, and the processing information 403-1 included in the recommendation information of No1 in the recommendation information shown in fig. 4 to display, in the image area of the top image 402-1, information on the program of each program name including the "good terminal" 511, "good road performance" 512, and "News good method" 513, which is a result of retrieving and extracting the program corresponding to the keyword 401-1 and the moving image content based on the content of the processing 1 described in the processing information 403-1.
The information of each program name including the "good component terminal" 511, the "good component road performance" 512, and the "News component" 513 may be constituted by an icon image. When the user selects each icon image, the display control means 324 switches to the playback start screen of the program or the moving image content corresponding to the selected icon image, for example, and displays the program on the display device 340, or switches to the detailed explanation screen (program table) of the scheduled broadcast content of the program and displays the program on the display device 340, or switches to the connection screen of the moving image distribution service 170 and displays the program on the display device 340.
Further, by selecting "see more" in the image area of the top image 510 of the "recommended program in summer", the display control means 324 can shift to the display screen of the list of other program names of the programs corresponding to the keywords as shown in fig. 7 or 8.
Similarly, the top image 520 of the "special program of the present week" in the selection screen 500 is an example in which the display control means 324 uses the keyword 401-2, the top image 402-2, and the processing information 403-2 included in the recommendation information of No2 in the recommendation information shown in fig. 4 to retrieve and extract the program corresponding to the keyword 401-2 and the moving image content based on the content of the processing 2 described in the processing information 403-2, and displays information on the program of each program name including "good family medical" 521 "," good girl good "522, and" good football "523 in the image area of the top image 402-2.
The information of each program name including "medical good for home" 521, "good for good" 522, "soccer good for good" 523 may be configured by an icon image. When the user selects each icon image, the display control means 324 switches to the playback start screen of the program or the moving image content corresponding to the selected icon image, for example, and displays the program on the display device 340, or switches to the detailed explanation screen (program table) of the scheduled broadcast content of the program and displays the program on the display device 340, or switches to the connection screen of the moving image distribution service 170 and displays the program on the display device 340.

Similarly, the top image 530 of "recommendation for tomorrow" in the selection screen 500 is an example in which the display control means 324 searches for and extracts a program corresponding to the keyword 401-3 and a moving image content, that is, information on programs including program names of "good-presenting music drama" 531, displayed in the image area of the top image 402-3, based on the content of the process 3 described in the process information 403-3, using the keyword 401-3, the top image 402-3, and the process information 403-3 included in the recommendation information of No3 in the recommendation information shown in fig. 4.
The information including the program name of the "music drama good in good" 531 may be constituted by an icon image. When the user selects each icon image, the display control means 324 switches to the playback start screen of the program or the moving image content corresponding to the selected icon image, for example, and displays the program on the display device 340, or switches to the detailed explanation screen (program table) of the scheduled broadcast content of the program and displays the program on the display device 340, or switches to the connection screen of the moving image distribution service 170 and displays the program on the display device 340.
Further, by selecting "see more" in the image area of the top image 530 of "recommendation of next day", the display control means 324 can shift to the display screen of the list of other program names of the programs corresponding to the keywords as shown in fig. 7 or 8.
The example of fig. 5 is an example in which information on a program or content including a program name is displayed at a position within the image area of the top image 402, but the present invention is not limited to this. The information including the program name may be arranged and displayed at a position where a part thereof is included in the image area of the top image 402. Alternatively, the information including the program name may be displayed in a position in contact with the image area of the top image 402. Alternatively, the information including the program name may be arranged and displayed at a position outside the image area of the top image 402. When there are a plurality of top images, information including the program name corresponding to each top image may be arranged and displayed at a position including any of these positions. When the information including the program name is arranged outside the image area of the top image 402, the information including the program name is preferably arranged in the vicinity of the top image 402.
When a plurality of top images are displayed on the selection screen, it is preferable that information including a program name be arranged in the vicinity of the top image 402, and the shortest distance between the information a including a program name and the image area of the top image a in the viewpoint (subject) a is shorter than the shortest distance between the top image B and the information a including a program name in the viewpoint (subject) B. The display information included in the selection screen content sets the positions at which the information a including the program name, the top image a, and the top image B are displayed so that the shortest distance between the information a including the program name and the image area of the top image a in the viewpoint (theme) a is shorter than the shortest distance between the top image B and the information a including the program name in the viewpoint (theme) B.
The selection screen 500 may also be configured with an icon image for connection with the moving image distribution service 170. The icon images 540 to 548 are examples of icon images for connection with the moving image distribution service 170. Further, on the selection screen 500, an icon image 550 for displaying a recording list of a program recorded by the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140, an icon image 551 for displaying a recording list of an automatic recording (may also be referred to as a "requested recording"), an icon image 552 for displaying a received message, an icon image 553 for setting the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 necessary for receiving a service from the cloud service server 120, and an icon image 554 for searching for a content displayed on the selection screen 500 may be arranged.
The display control means 324 may display the size of each top image to be displayed in an enlarged or reduced size to an arbitrary size based on the display information with respect to the size transmitted in the form of the image included in the recommendation information.
The information including the program name displayed in the image area of the top image by the display control means 324 may be displayed in the order of the program name closer to the current time identified by the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140, for example. When the program name of a program to be recorded is displayed, the program name closer to the current time is a program whose recording date and time are closer to the current time, and when the program name of a program to be played back in the future is displayed, the program name closer to the current time is a program whose playback date and time are closer to the current time.
In this way, when the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 receives the selection screen content, the display control means 324 can display the selection screen on the display device 340 in which any number of top images having any size representing the viewpoint (theme) of the program or the moving image content recommended to be viewed are arranged. Thus, the user can intuitively select a program to be viewed by observing the top image of the selection screen displayed on the display device 340.
In addition, since the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 can display the size of the top image in a large size when the top image is a high-topical viewpoint (theme) such as seasonal, short-term, or topical, the user can intuitively select a program to be viewed more easily by observing the size of the top image.
In addition, since the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 can display information on programs and moving image contents corresponding to keywords of a point of view (subject) in the top image, a user can obtain information on programs and moving image contents corresponding to the point of view (subject) only by viewing the selection screen, and thus can intuitively select a program to be viewed more easily.
The information of the program and the moving image content corresponding to the keyword of the viewpoint (subject) displayed in the top image is generally different for each user of the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140.
For example, the recorded programs recorded by broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 and stored in HDD160 and storage area 355 differ for each user. Further, for example, the programs that can be received by the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 differ depending on the place where the user sets the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 and which charged broadcast program the user has signed a contract with. As described above, the recorded program stored in the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140, the program to be broadcast in the future by the broadcast signal transmitting apparatus 100, the moving picture content distributed by the moving picture distribution service 170, and the like differ depending on the user of the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140.
In contrast, the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 according to the embodiment of the present invention can select and display information of a program or moving image content corresponding to a keyword of a viewpoint (subject) in a program recorded in the broadcast signal transmitting apparatus 100, a program to be broadcast by the broadcast signal transmitting apparatus 100 in the future, moving image content distributed by the moving image distribution service 170 via the network 180, and the like, among programs broadcasted by the broadcast signal transmitting apparatus 100 corresponding to each user, and therefore can display a selection screen suitable for the user. This makes it possible for the user to more easily and intuitively select a program to be viewed from among programs and moving picture contents that are suitable for the user.
Although the examples shown in fig. 4 and 5 are examples in which the top image 402 is created in the image data creating unit 122 of the cloud service server 120, for example, the cloud service server 120 may be configured such that the recommendation information included as the display information does not include a top image, only area information related to the position of the area where the top image is arranged is described, and the processing information describes the processing content of generating the top image in the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140. In this case, broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 may select arbitrary image data corresponding to a viewpoint (subject) from among 1 or more programs corresponding to a keyword, for example, to generate a top image.
Fig. 6 is another display example of a case where the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 according to the embodiment of the present invention analyzes the content of the selection screen transmitted from the cloud service server 120 by the display control means 324 and displays the selection screen on the display device 340.
The selection screen 600 includes "weather information! Top image 610 of package, "top image 620 of" sports news package, "top image 630 of" oscar prize association package. The example of fig. 6 is an example of information of a display scene or information of moving image content of VoD (Video On Demand) as information of a program or moving image content displayed in the top image, respectively.
In this way, the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 can display, in the top image, not only information on a program broadcasted by a broadcast wave but also various types of information such as information on scenes and information on VoD moving image contents, which are information on a program and moving image contents corresponding to keywords from a viewpoint (theme).
Fig. 7 is a display example of a selection screen displayed in a case where "see more" displayed in the image area of the top image by the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 of the embodiment of the present invention is selected by the user.
The program name list 700 includes: an area 730 displaying information associated with the top image shown in fig. 5 or 6; a region 731 in which a viewpoint (subject) of the top image is displayed; and an area 732 for displaying a list of program names or moving picture content names of programs corresponding to the keywords. The area 732 for displaying the list of program names of programs corresponding to the keywords includes: a region for displaying a list of programs currently being played/recorded; an area for displaying a list of programs to be played in the future; an area displaying moving picture content distributed by the moving picture distribution service.
The area for displaying the list of currently playing programs/recorded programs includes: an area 701 in which "program under play/record" is displayed as a title; a program name area 711 is displayed. In the example of fig. 7, since there is no program corresponding to "program being played back/recorded" among the programs corresponding to the keywords, the program name is not displayed in the program name display area 711, and "not found" is displayed.
Similarly, the area for displaying a list of programs to be played back in the future includes: an area 702 displaying "future program" as a title; an area 712 for the program name is displayed. The example of fig. 7 is an example in which 4 programs corresponding to "future programs" are displayed among the programs corresponding to the keywords.
Similarly, the area for displaying the list of the moving picture contents distributed by the moving picture distribution service includes: a field 703 in which a title "four-star" of the moving image delivery service name is displayed; a moving image content name area 713 is displayed. The example of fig. 7 is an example in which 4 pieces of moving image content corresponding to "mitab" are displayed among the moving image content corresponding to the keyword.
Fig. 8 is another display example of the selection screen displayed in the case where "see more" displayed within the image area of the top image by the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 of the embodiment of the present invention is selected by the user.
The area 832 for displaying a list of program names or video content names of programs corresponding to keywords may be displayed separately for each video distribution service. The example of fig. 8 is an example showing a moving image distribution of the moving image distribution service "good quality TV" and "good quality TV" in addition to the moving image distribution service "fourtab" shown in the example of fig. 7. Similarly to fig. 7, the area 832 for displaying a list of video content names distributed by the video distribution service includes: a region 801 displaying "good TV" of the moving image distribution service name as a title; a region 802 displaying "moving image distribution of good-quality TV"; areas 811 and 812 for displaying the name of the moving picture content.
In addition to programs and moving image contents, CM (commercial advertisement) may correspond to keywords or be an object to be retrieved and extracted. The area for displaying the list of CMs includes: an area 803 in which "CM" is displayed as a title; an area 813 displaying the corresponding CM name. The example of fig. 8 is an example in which there is no program corresponding to "CM" among programs corresponding to keywords, and therefore the CM name is not displayed in the CM name display area 813, and "not found" is displayed.
In the examples of fig. 7 and 8, the areas 732 and 832 for displaying the list of program names or moving picture content names of programs corresponding to keywords are displayed as an area of a currently playing program or a recorded program, an area of a program to be played later, an area of moving picture content distributed by a moving picture distribution service, and an area of a CM, but the manner of dividing the areas may be changed according to the viewpoint (theme) of the top image.
In this way, the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 can display a list of corresponding programs and moving image contents from the viewpoint (theme) of the top image displayed on the selection screen.
As described above, the broadcast signal receiving apparatus 140 can display a selection screen on which the user can intuitively select a program or moving image content desired to be viewed by using the recommendation information.
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described, these embodiments are presented as examples and do not limit the scope of the invention. These new embodiments can be implemented in other various ways, and various omissions, substitutions, and changes can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. These embodiments and modifications thereof are included in the scope and gist of the invention, and are included in the invention described in the claims and the equivalent scope thereof. In addition, in the respective components of the claims, the case where the components are expressed in a divided manner, the case where a plurality of components are expressed together, or the case where the components are expressed in a combined manner is also a scope of the present invention. The apparatus of the present invention can be applied to a case where the claims are expressed as a control logic, a case where the claims are expressed as a program including instructions for causing a computer to execute, and a case where the claims are expressed as a computer-readable recording medium on which the instructions are recorded. The terms and expressions used are not limited, and other expressions are included in the present invention as long as they are substantially the same contents and the same meanings.

Claims (7)

  1. A broadcast signal receiving apparatus which receives a program transmitted from a broadcast signal transmitting apparatus by a broadcast signal and receives a selection screen content composed of display information transmitted from a server connected via a network, the display information containing one or more pieces of recommendation information including a keyword, area information, and processing information, wherein,
    the broadcast signal receiving apparatus includes:
    a display control unit that displays a selection screen on a display device based on display information of the selection screen content;
    a processing unit that performs processing of the processing information using the keyword; and
    a storage unit for recording and storing the program,
    the processing unit is configured to retrieve and extract from at least one of: a first program corresponding to the keyword included in the recommendation information from among the recorded programs stored in the storage unit, or a second program corresponding to the keyword from among the programs to be delivered from the broadcast signal transmitting apparatus in the future;
    the display control unit is configured to, when the selection screen is displayed on the display device based on the display information, arrange and display program information of an arbitrary program from at least one of the first program and the second program at least one of the following positions: a position including at least a part of a region specified based on the region information included in the recommendation information, a position in contact with a region specified based on the region information included in the recommendation information, and a position in the vicinity of a region specified based on the region information included in the recommendation information.
  2. The broadcast signal receiving apparatus according to claim 1,
    the display information of the selected screen content includes first recommendation information and second recommendation information, the first recommendation information includes a first keyword, first region information and first processing information, the second recommendation information includes a second keyword, second region information and second processing information,
    in a case where first program information created based on the first recommendation information is set to be displayed in the vicinity of a first area arranged based on first area information and second program information created based on the second recommendation information is set to be displayed in the vicinity of a second area arranged based on the second area information, the display information is set to display the first program information such that the shortest distance between the position where the first program information is displayed and the first area is shorter than the shortest distance between the position where the first program information is displayed and the second area,
    the display control unit is configured to display the first program information so that a shortest distance between a position where the first program information is displayed and the first area is shorter than a shortest distance between a position where the first program information is displayed and the second area, based on the display information.
  3. The broadcast signal receiving apparatus according to claim 1,
    the processing section further configured to retrieve and extract a third program corresponding to the keyword from among the moving image contents transmitted through the network,
    the display control unit is configured to, when the selection screen is displayed on the display device based on the display information, arrange and display program information of any one program from among at least one of the first program, the second program, and the third program in at least one of the following positions: a position including at least a part of a region specified based on the region information included in the recommendation information, a position in contact with a region specified based on the region information included in the recommendation information, and a position in the vicinity of a region specified based on the region information included in the recommendation information.
  4. The broadcast signal receiving apparatus according to claim 1,
    the recommendation information included in the display information of the selection screen content includes image data arranged in the area information,
    the display control section is configured to arrange and display the image data in an area determined based on the area information.
  5. The broadcast signal receiving apparatus according to claim 4,
    the display control section is configured to display the image data on the display device in an arbitrary size.
  6. A broadcast signal transmission/reception system including the broadcast signal receiving apparatus according to any one of claims 1 to 5, a broadcast signal transmitting apparatus, and a server.
  7. A selection screen display method in a broadcast signal receiving apparatus that receives a program transmitted from a broadcast signal transmitting apparatus by a broadcast signal and receives selection screen content composed of display information transmitted from a server connected via a network, the display information including one or more pieces of recommendation information including keywords, area information, and processing information, wherein,
    the selection screen display method includes:
    displaying the selection screen on a display device based on display information of the selection screen content;
    processing the processing information by using the keyword; and
    recording and storing the program transmitted from the broadcast signal transmitting apparatus,
    retrieving and extracting from at least one of: a first program corresponding to the keyword included in the recommendation information from among the stored recorded programs, or a second program corresponding to the keyword from among the programs to be transmitted from the broadcast signal transmitting apparatus in the future; when the selection screen is displayed on the display device based on the display information, program information of any one of the first program and the second program is arranged and displayed at least one of the following positions: a position including a region specified based on the region information included in the recommendation information, a position in contact with a region specified based on the region information included in the recommendation information, and a position in the vicinity of the region specified based on the region information included in the recommendation information.
