Background
For example, U.S. Pat. No. 8,911,037b2 discloses a bracket. The bracket is used for mounting a drawer slide rail to a main board of a cabinet wall. The main plate has an upper flange, a lower flange, a recess disposed between the upper flange and the lower flange, and a ramp extending between an edge of the recess and the recess. Wherein, the main board can be used for being installed on the cabinet wall, and the bracket is attached to the drawer slide rail. The upper flange and the lower flange of the main plate can be used for buckling an upper edge and a lower edge of the bracket. The concave part of the main board can be used for accommodating a convex block of the bracket, so that the bracket can be horizontally adjusted relative to the main board in the concave part through the convex block.
However, since the bump of the patent is continuously connected to a plate portion of the bracket, the bump is immovable relative to the plate portion of the bracket (in other words, the bump is fixed relative to the plate portion of the bracket) and it is not easy to mount the bracket to the main board. Preferably, the middle portion 40 of the bracket 24 is further provided with a second elastic portion 44, and the second elastic portion 44 and the first elastic portion 42 have substantially the same structure but are disposed in opposite directions, for example, the first elastic portion 42 has a connecting section 42a and an end portion 42b far away from the connecting section 42a (as shown in fig. 3), the connecting section 42a is connected to the middle portion 40 of the bracket 24, and the end portion 42b is tilted by a height relative to the connecting section 42 a; similarly, the second elastic portion 44 has another connecting segment 44a and another end 44b far away from the other connecting segment 44a (as shown in fig. 3), the other connecting segment 44a is connected to the middle portion 40 of the bracket 24, and the other end 44b tilts up to the height relative to the other connecting segment 44 a.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 3, the middle portion 40 of the bracket 24 has a first accommodating space K1 and a second accommodating space K2 for providing the first elastic portion 42 and the second elastic portion 44 to move relative to the first accommodating space K1 and the second accommodating space K2, respectively.
Preferably, the end 42b of the first elastic portion 42 and the end 44b of the second elastic portion 44 face opposite directions, such as the end 42b of the first elastic portion 42 faces a first direction and the end 44b of the second elastic portion 44 faces a second direction. The first direction and the second direction are two opposite directions (for example, right direction and left direction), but the implementation is not limited.
Preferably, the bracket 24 includes an extension 46 extending from the intermediate portion 40, and the extension 46 has a longitudinal length.
Preferably, the second resilient portion 44 and the first resilient portion 42 are located adjacent the upper portion 36 and the lower portion 38 of the bracket 24, respectively.
Preferably, the base 22 includes an upper wall 48 and a lower wall 50. The upper wall 48 has a first wall section 48a and a second wall section 48b, the second wall section 48b is bent downward relative to the first wall section 48a, and the first wall section 48a and the second wall section 48b together define a groove as the upper feature 28; the lower wall 50 has a third wall section 50a and a fourth wall section 50b, the fourth wall section 50b is bent upward relative to the third wall section 50a, and the third wall section 50a and the fourth wall section 50b together define another groove as the lower feature 30.
Preferably, the second wall segment 48b of the base 22 is substantially vertically connected to the first wall segment 48a, and the fourth wall segment 50b of the base 22 is substantially vertically connected to the third wall segment 50a.
Preferably, the base 22 includes at least one connection hole 52 connecting the first portion 26a and the second portion 26b. Here, two connection holes 52 are taken as an example, but the embodiment is not limited thereto.
Preferably, the base 22 includes at least one mounting feature 54 disposed on the second portion 26b. Here, two mounting features 54 are taken as an example, and the two mounting features 54 are protrusions, but the implementation is not limited thereto.
Preferably, one of the base 22 and the bracket 24 comprises a plastic material. In this embodiment, the base 22 and the bracket 24 are made of plastic materials, but the embodiment is not limited thereto.
As shown in fig. 3 to 5, the bracket 24 has a first side E1 and a second side E2 opposite to each other. During assembly, the bracket 24 can be mounted to the base 22 from the first side 34a of the base 22 toward the first direction D1 toward the second side 34 b; alternatively, the bracket 24 can also be mounted to the base 22 from the second side 34b of the base 22 toward the first side 34a in the second direction D2. Here, the bracket 24 is mounted to the base 22 from the first side 34a of the base 22 to the second side 34b in the first direction D1 through the first edge E1 (as shown in fig. 4 and 5), but the embodiment is not limited thereto. The first elastic portion 42 and the second elastic portion 44 of the bracket 24 are both in an initial state. Further, when the bracket 24 is mounted to the base 22 from the first side 34a of the base 22 to the second side 34B in the first direction D1, the first elastic portion 42 of the bracket 24 can contact the first guiding structure G1 of the base 22 through the end portion 42B (as shown in fig. 5), and the second elastic portion 44 of the bracket 24 can contact the second limiting structure B2 of the base 22 through the connecting section 44a (as shown in fig. 5).
As shown in fig. 5 and 6, when the bracket 24 is further mounted to the base 22 from the first side 34a of the base 22 to the first direction D1 toward the second side 34B, the first elastic portion 42 of the bracket 24 can be guided by the first guiding structure G1 of the base 22 to be no longer in the initial state and in a state of accumulating a first elastic force (as shown in fig. 6), so that the first elastic portion 42 can be accommodated in the first accommodating space K1, and the second elastic portion 44 of the bracket 24 can be pressed by the second limiting structure B2 of the base 22 to be no longer in the initial state and in a state of accumulating a second elastic force (as shown in fig. 6), so that the second elastic portion 44 can be accommodated in the second accommodating space K2.
As shown in fig. 6 and 7, the bracket 24 and the base 22 are mountable to each other. For example, when the bracket 24 is mounted to the base 22 from the first side 34a of the base 22 to the second side 34b in the first direction D1, the first elastic portion 42 of the bracket 24 can be mounted to the first movable space S1 of the base 22, for example, the first elastic portion 42 of the bracket 24 is guided by the first guiding structure G1 of the base 22 to enter the first movable space S1, and the first elastic portion 42 is pressed by the first portion 26a of the base 22 to be kept in a state of accumulating the first elastic force (as shown in fig. 7), wherein the size of the first elastic portion 42 is smaller than the first movable space S1; on the other hand, the second elastic portion 44 of the bracket 24 can be installed in the second moving space S2 of the base 22, for example, the second elastic portion 44 of the bracket 24 contacts the second limiting structure B2 of the base 22 until the second elastic portion 44 passes the second limiting structure B2, and releases the second elastic force, so that the second elastic portion 44 enters the second moving space S2 (as shown in fig. 7), wherein the size of the second elastic portion 44 is smaller than the second moving space S2. Additionally, the upper and lower portions 36, 38 of the bracket 24 can be configured to be movably mounted to the upper and lower features 28, 30, respectively, of the base 22. Accordingly, the process of mounting the bracket 24 to the base 22 can be completed.
As shown in FIG. 7, after the bracket 24 and the base 22 are mounted to each other, the bracket 24 and the base 22 may be horizontally (e.g., laterally) adjusted with respect to each other. For example, the bracket 24 can be displaced in the first direction D1 relative to the base 22, and the end 42B of the first elastic portion 42 of the bracket 24 can be blocked by the first limiting structure B1 of the base 22, so that the bracket 24 can only be displaced in the first direction D1 relative to the base 22 to a first limit position; alternatively, the bracket 24 can be displaced in the second direction D2 relative to the base 22, and the end 44B of the second elastic portion 44 of the bracket 24 can be blocked by the second limiting structure B2 of the base 22, so that the bracket 24 can only be displaced in the second direction D2 relative to the base 22 to a second limiting position (see fig. 3).
It should be noted that, as shown in fig. 3, when the bracket 24 is mounted to the base 22 from the second side 34B of the base 22 to the first side 34a in the second direction D2 through the second edge E2, the second elastic portion 44 of the bracket 24 is guided by the second guiding structure G2 of the base 22 to enter the second moving space S2, the first elastic portion 42 of the bracket 24 can be mounted to the first moving space S1 beyond the first limiting structure B1 of the base 22, and the upper portion 36 and the lower portion 38 of the bracket 24 are respectively configured to be movably mounted to the upper feature 28 and the lower feature 30 of the base 22. Accordingly, the process of mounting the bracket 24 to the base 22 is also accomplished (this section may be referred to in fig. 7).
As shown in fig. 8 and 9, the connecting device 20 is suitable for a piece of furniture comprising a first furniture part 56 and a second furniture part 58. For example, the first furniture member 56 is a cabinet wall (e.g., but not limited to a rear wall), the second furniture member 58 is a track, and a longitudinal length direction L of the track is substantially perpendicular to a horizontal direction T (e.g., transverse) of the first portion 26a of the base 22.
The base 22 can pass through the at least one connecting hole 52 by at least one fastener 60, so that the second portion 26b of the base 22 is connected to the first furniture piece 56 by the fastener 60; and/or the second portion 26b of the base 22 may be coupled to a corresponding feature 62 (e.g., mounting hole) of the first furniture member 56 via the at least one mounting feature 54. On the other hand, the extension portion 46 of the bracket 24 is used to connect to the second furniture member 58, for example, but not limited to, the second furniture member 58 and the extension portion 46 can be connected to each other by snapping, screwing or riveting. Thus, the second furniture member 58 and the first furniture member 56 can be adjusted in position relative to each other by structural cooperation of the bracket 24 and the base 22. Since the principle of the position of the bracket 24 and the base 22 being adjusted relative to each other is disclosed above, the description thereof is omitted for brevity.
From the above description, it can be seen that the enhanced efficacy and advantages of the present invention are:
1. unlike the prior art (U.S. Pat. No. 8,911,037b 2), in which the protrusion is not movable relative to the plate portion of the bracket, so that the bracket is not easy to be mounted to the motherboard, as mentioned above, the first elastic portion 42 (or the second elastic portion 44) of the bracket 24 of the embodiment has elasticity, so that the bracket 24 can be elastically moved into the first moving space S1 (or the second moving space S2) of the base 22 by the first elastic portion 42 (or the second elastic portion 44) during the process of mounting the bracket 24 to the base 22, which helps the bracket 24 to be mounted to the base 22 in a more labor-saving manner.
2. After the bracket 24 and the base 22 are assembled with each other, the bracket 24 and the base 22 can move relative to each other. For example, the bracket 24 can be horizontally adjusted (in the first direction D1 or the second direction D2) relative to the base 22.
3. The bracket 22 can be mounted to the base 22 from the first side 34a of the base 22 toward the second side 34b in the first direction D1 through a first edge E1; alternatively, the bracket 24 can be mounted to the base 22 from the second side 34b of the base 22 toward the first side 34a in the second direction D2 via the second edge E2. Therefore, the function of bidirectional installation is provided.
4. The first elastic portion 42 of the bracket 24 can be installed in the first space S1 of the base 22, and the second elastic portion 44 of the bracket 24 can be installed in the second space S2 of the base 22. The end 42B of the first elastic portion 42 of the bracket 24 can be stopped by the first limit structure B1 of the base 22, and the end 44B of the second elastic portion 44 of the bracket 24 can be stopped by the second limit structure B2 of the base 22, so that the bracket 24 can only be horizontally displaced relative to the base 22 within a limited range.
5. The second resilient portion 44 and the first resilient portion 42 are located adjacent the upper portion 36 and the lower portion 38 of the bracket 24, respectively.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the present specific embodiments, it will be recognized by those skilled in the art that the above embodiments are merely illustrative of the present invention and that various equivalent changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit of the invention and, therefore, it is intended that all changes and modifications to the above embodiments be included within the scope of the appended claims.
