一种绘图方法、绘图装置及电子设备，该绘图方法包括：获取原始图像；对原始图像进行采样以形成构成原始图像的轮廓的参考点集；显示参考点集。本发明将用户需要模仿绘制的图片进行预处理，提取原始图片上的绘图线条和绘图点，用户根据这些绘图线条和绘图点进行临摹绘图，可轻松完成绘图，并且得到的绘制图像具有较高品质，满足用户的绘画需求，同时还可快速提高用户的绘画技能。
