在某些实施方案中,本发明的组合物包含一种或多种阴离子表面活性剂。可用于本发明的组合物中的阴离子表面活性剂包括水溶性阴离子磺酸盐表面活性剂并包括线形C8-C16烷基苯磺酸酯的钠盐、C10-C20石蜡磺酸盐、含有约10至约24个碳原子的α-烯烃磺酸盐和C8-C18烷基硫酸盐及其混合物。
阴离子表面活性剂可以是含水表面活性剂组合物领域中已知或先前使用的任何阴离子表面活性剂。合适的阴离子表面活性剂包括但不限于烷基硫酸盐、烷基醚硫酸盐、烷芳基磺酸盐、烷基琥珀酸盐、烷基磺基琥珀酸盐、N-烷酰基肌氨酸盐、烷基磷酸盐、烷基醚磷酸盐、烷基醚羧酸盐、烷基氨基酸、烷基肽、烷酰基牛磺酸盐、羧酸、酰基和烷基谷氨酸盐、烷基羟乙磺酸盐和α-烯烃磺酸盐,尤其是它们的钠盐、钾盐、镁盐、铵盐以及单乙醇胺、二乙醇胺和三乙醇胺盐。优选的是表面活性剂的钠盐。烷基基团通常含有约8至约18个碳原子并可以是不饱和的。

在某些示意性实施方案中,合适的磺酸化阴离子表面活性剂的实例包括但不限于烷基单核芳族磺酸盐,如在一个实施方案中含8至18个碳原子、在另一个实施方案中含11至16个碳原子、在另一个实施方案中含14或15个碳原子的高级烷基苯磺酸盐(高级烷基基团呈直链或支链),或C8-15烷基甲苯磺酸盐和C8-C15烷基酚磺酸盐。在另一个实施方案中,烷基苯磺酸盐为具有较高3-苯基(或更高)异构体含量和相应较低(远低于50%)2-苯基(或更低)异构体含量的线形烷基苯磺酸盐,如其中苯环大多连接在烷基基团的3或更高(例如,4、5、6或7)位并且其中苯环连接在2或1位的异构体的含量相应低的那些磺酸盐。示意性的材料见述于美国专利号3,320,174中。其中,优选的是阴离子表面活性剂的钠盐。
在另一个实施方案中,合适的磺酸化阴离子表面活性剂包括但不限于含有有机疏水基团和至少一个包括但不限于磺酸根、硫酸根和羧酸根的水增溶基团以便形成水溶性洗涤剂的那些表面活性或洗涤剂化合物,其中所述有机疏水基团在其分子结构中通常含有约8至约26个碳原子或10至18个碳原子。通常,疏水基团包括C8-C22烷基、烷基或酰基基团。这样的表面活性剂以水溶性盐的形式采用并且成盐阳离子为钠、钾、铵、镁以及单-、二-或三-C2-C3烷醇铵。在一个示意性实施方案中,阳离子为钠、镁或铵阳离子,并且优选的是钠。
本发明的范围内涵盖的其他合适的阴离子表面活性剂包括但不限于烯烃磺酸盐,包括长链链烯磺酸盐、长链羟基链烷磺酸盐或链烯磺酸盐和羟基链烷磺酸盐的混合物。这些烯烃磺酸盐洗涤剂可以已知的方式通过三氧化硫(SO3)与含8至25个或12至21个碳原子并具有式RCH=CHR1的长链烯烃反应形成砜和链烯磺酸的混合物、然后处理所述混合物以将砜转化为磺酸盐来制备,在所述式中,R为6至23个碳的高级烷基基团,R1为1至17个碳的烷基基团或氢。在其他实施方案中,烯烃磺酸盐在R烷基基团中含约14至约16个碳原子并通过磺化α-烯烃获得。

一些实施方案提供了包含表面活性剂体系的个人护理组合物。在一些实施方案中,表面活性剂体系包含阴离子表面活性剂、非离子表面活性剂和/或两性表面活性剂。在一些实施方案中,表面活性剂体系包含阴离子表面活性剂(例如,月桂醇聚醚硫酸钠);非离子表面活性剂(例如,C12-14醇EO 2∶1 NA硫酸盐)和两性表面活性剂(例如,椰油酰胺丙基甜菜碱)。

还进一步的实施方案提供了包含螯合剂的个人护理组合物,所述螯合剂与不跨脂质双层的金属阳离子形成络合物。合适的螯合剂的实例包括乙二胺四乙酸(EDTA)、乙二醇-双(β-氨基乙基醚)-N,N,N′,N′-四乙酸(EGTA)和8-氨基-2-[(2-氨基-5-甲基苯氧基)甲基]-6-甲氧基喹啉-N5N,N′,N′-四乙酸四钾盐(QUIN-2)。当组合物含有至少一种螯合剂时,存在的螯合剂的总量为0.005至2重量%,具体取决于所选择的特定螯合剂和制剂。例如,在一些实施方案中,组合物可含有0.01至0.3重量%的EDTA四钠。在其他实施方案中,组合物可不含EDTA四钠。
个人护理组合物的稳定性控制体系可包含第一组分和第二组分。第一组分可包含乳浊剂。第二组分可包含离子聚合物。
稳定性控制体系可以基于个人护理组合物的总重量计约0.05重量%至约4.0重量%的范围内的量存在,包括其间的所有量和子范围。在一个优选的实施方案中,稳定性控制体系可以基于个人护理组合物的总重量计约0.1重量%至约3.5重量%的范围内的量存在,包括其间的所有量和子范围。
在一些实施方案中,稳定性控制体系包含乳浊剂。在一些实施方案中,乳浊剂为非离子乳浊剂。在一些实施方案中,非离子乳浊剂包含蜡分散体。在一些实施方案中,蜡分散体包含乙二醇二硬脂酸酯、椰油基葡糖苷、油酸甘油酯、硬脂酸甘油酯中的一种或多种。在某些实施方案中,蜡分散体包含水、苯甲酸、柠檬酸、椰油基葡糖苷、油酸甘油酯、硬脂酸甘油酯和二硬脂酸甘油酯。
在其他实施方案中,乳浊剂可包含乙二醇硬脂酸酯、椰油酰胺丙基甜菜碱和月桂醇聚醚-4中的一种或多种。在其他实施方案中,乳浊剂可包含棕榈酸鲸蜡醇酯、硬脂酸甘油酯和氢化蓖麻油中的一种或多种。
在一些实施方案中,稳定性控制体系基本上不含苯乙烯丙烯酸酯共聚物。在其他实施方案中,稳定性控制体系不含苯乙烯丙烯酸酯共聚物。在进一步的实施方案中,稳定性控制体系基本上不含苯乙烯或其衍生物。还进一步的实施方案提供了不含苯乙烯或其衍生物的稳定性控制体系。

可存在于本发明中的颗粒可以是天然的、合成的或半合成的。另外,也可存在杂化颗粒。合成颗粒可由交联或非交联的聚合物制成。本发明的颗粒可具有表面电荷,或其表面可经有机或无机材料如表面活性剂、聚合物和无机材料改性。可存在颗粒复合物。
合成颗粒的非限制性实例包括尼龙、有机硅树脂、聚(甲基)丙烯酸酯、聚乙烯、聚酯、聚丙烯、聚苯乙烯、聚氨酯、聚酰胺、环氧树脂、脲醛树脂和丙烯酸粉末。可用颗粒的非限制性实例有Microease 110S、114S、116(微细化的合成蜡)、Micropoly 210、250S(微细化的聚乙烯)、Microslip(微细化的聚四氟乙烯)和Microsilk(聚乙烯与聚四氟乙烯的组合),其均可得自Micro Powder,Inc。另外的实例包括可得自Phenomenex的Luna(光滑二氧化硅颗粒)颗粒;可得自Kobo Products,Inc.的MP-2200(聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯)、EA-209(乙烯/丙烯酸酯共聚物)、SP-501(尼龙-12)、ES-830(聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯)、BPD-800、BPD-500(聚氨酯)颗粒;和GE Silicones以名称Tospearl颗粒出售的有机硅树脂。Ganzpearl GS-0605交联聚苯乙烯(可自Presperse获得)也是可用的。
杂化颗粒的非限制性实例包括Ganzpearl GSC-30SR(Sericite和交联聚苯乙烯杂化粉末)和SM-1000、SM-200(云母和二氧化硅杂化粉末,可自Presperse获得)。

在一些实施方案中,颗粒为闪亮颗粒。闪亮颗粒的非限制性实例包括以下:干涉颜料、多层颜料、金属颗粒、固体和液体晶体或其组合。
已惊奇地发现,第一组分与第二组分的组合为个人护理产品的分离稳定性提供了出乎意料的改善。具体地讲,对于包含基料组合物的个人护理产品,稳定性控制体系的添加允许个人护理产品保持个人护理组合物所需的不透明美学性质,同时为基本上不含苯乙烯的组合物实现优异的分离稳定性。在一些实施方案中,本发明的个人护理组合物完全不含苯乙烯。

实施例1
进行实验以评价含苯乙烯的对照组合物(对照1)、根据本发明的一些实施方案的在相关部分中包含阳离子聚合物和蜡分散体的个人护理组合物(实施例I)和对比组合物(对比实施例I)的分离稳定性。表1(下文)中提供了这些配方的更详细描述。通过防止在49℃的温度下四(4)周内出现视觉上可感知的相分离的能力来评价稳定性。在49℃下四周后能够避免视觉上可感知的相分离的组合物表现出足够的稳定性。

如表1(上文)中描述的结果所示,本发明的示例性组合物表现出分离稳定性,而不包含本发明的创新组合的对比配方具有视觉上可感知的分离迹象。
实施例2
评价含苯乙烯的两种参考组合物(对照2和对照3)、两种对比组合物(对比实施例II和对比实施例III)及两种本发明的示例性组合物(实施例II和实施例III)以评估pH、粘度、表面活性剂类型和表面活性剂浓度对相分离的影响。类似于实施例1(上文)中描述的方法,将组合物暴露于49℃的温度达四(4)周来评价其稳定性。配方在下表2中描述。

实施例3
进行附加的实验来确认本发明的稳定剂体系所提供的稳定性益处。表3(下文)中描述了受试配方及来自这些实验的结果。

实施例4
制备骨架配方以评价各种成分和成分组合的乳浊效应。下表4中描述了骨架。

实施例5
使用表4(上文)中描述的骨架配方及蜡分散体(例如,表5(上文)中的配方H)和阳离子聚合物(参见表7(下文))的组合配制了若干个人护理组合物。根据实施例1和2中描述的方法,评价组合物的稳定性以确定蜡分散体和阳离子聚合物的最佳浓度。

如表7(上文)中描述的结果所示,蜡分散体与阳离子聚合物以约1∶4至约8∶1的范围内的重量比的组合产生了分离稳定的个人护理组合物,而蜡分散体∶阳离子聚合物的重量比在此范围外的组合物观察到相分离。
实施例6
在49℃下4周后用X-Rite比色计读取使用表4(上文)中描述的骨架配方及蜡分散体(例如,表5(上文)中的配方H)与阳离子聚合物的组合配制的三(3)种个人护理组合物和一种对比组合物的比色读数。结果在下表8中描述,其使用L*=63.42的未老化组合物作为参比产品。

实施例7

Claims (46)

第一组分,所述第一组分包含非离子乳浊剂;和
第二组分,所述第二组分包含离子聚合物;
其中所述第一组分和所述第二组分以约8:1至约1:1的范围内的重量比存在。
2.根据权利要求1所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述第一组分和所述第二组分以约6∶1至约1∶1的范围内的重量比存在。
3.根据权利要求2所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述第一组分和所述第二组分以约4∶1至约1∶3.6的范围内的重量比存在。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述稳定性控制体系以基于所述个人护理组合物的总重量计约0.2重量%至约4.0重量%的范围内的量存在。
5.根据权利要求4所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述稳定性控制体系以基于所述个人护理组合物的总重量计约0.275重量%至约3.5重量%的范围内的量存在。
6.根据权利要求1至5中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述个人护理组合物基本上不含苯乙烯。
7.根据权利要求1至6中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述非离子乳浊剂包含选自以下的成分:乙二醇二硬脂酸酯、椰油基葡糖苷、油酸甘油酯、硬脂酸甘油酯及其两种或更多种的组合。
8.根据权利要求7所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述第一组分包含乙二醇二硬脂酸酯、椰油基葡糖苷、油酸甘油酯、硬脂酸甘油酯。
9.根据权利要求1至8中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述非离子乳浊剂以基于所述个人护理组合物的总重量计约0.2重量%至约2.5重量%的范围内的量存在。
10.根据权利要求9所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述非离子乳浊剂以基于所述个人护理组合物的总重量计约0.25重量%至约2.1重量%的范围内的量存在。
11.根据权利要求1至10中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述第一组分具有在约3至约5.5的范围内的pH。
12.根据权利要求1至11中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述离子聚合物包含阳离子聚合物。
13.根据权利要求12所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述阳离子聚合物包含丙烯酰胺与二烯丙基二甲基铵盐的共聚物。
14.根据权利要求13所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述二烯丙基二甲基铵盐为二烯丙基二甲基氯化铵。
15.根据权利要求1至14中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述第二组分以基于所述个人护理组合物的总重量计约0.1重量%至约1.5重量%的范围内的量存在。
16.根据权利要求1至15中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述个人护理组合物在约40℃下分离稳定至少十三周。
17.根据权利要求1至16中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述个人护理组合物在约49℃下分离稳定至少四周。
18.根据权利要求1至17中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述个人护理组合物是不透明的。
19.根据权利要求1至18中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中基料的非水性组分包含苯甲酸、柠檬酸、脂肪酸、甘油酯和聚烷基糖苷中的至少之一。
20.根据权利要求1至18中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中水以基于所述个人护理组合物的总重量计约65重量%至约80重量%的范围内的量存在。
21.根据权利要求1至20中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述个人护理组合物呈选自沐浴露;淋浴凝胶;和液体手皂的形式。
22.一种个人护理组合物,所述个人护理组合物包含:
基料组合物,所述基料组合物包含水和至少一种非水性组分;和
稳定性控制体系,所述稳定性控制体系包含
第一组分,所述第一组分包含含酯乳浊剂;和
第二组分,所述第二组分包含离子聚合物;
其中所述个人护理组合物基本上不含苯乙烯并且所述个人护理组合物选自沐浴露;淋浴凝胶;和液体手皂。
23.根据权利要求22所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述第一组分包含选自以下的成分:乙二醇二硬脂酸酯;椰油基葡糖苷;油酸甘油酯;硬脂酸甘油酯;及其两种或更多种的组合。
24.根据权利要求23所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述第一组分包含乙二醇二硬脂酸酯、椰油基葡糖苷、油酸甘油酯和硬脂酸甘油酯的共混物。
25.根据权利要求21至24中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述个人护理组合物在约40℃的温度下分离稳定至少十三(13)周。
26.根据权利要求21至25中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述个人护理组合物在约49℃的温度下分离稳定至少四(4)周。
27.根据权利要求21至26中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述个人护理组合物是不透明的。
28.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述组合物使用冷法制备。
29.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述稳定性控制体系以有效缓解变色的量存在。
30.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述稳定性控制体系以有效防止变色的量存在。
31.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,所述个人护理组合物具有小于约15,000cp的粘度。
32.根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的个人护理组合物,所述个人护理组合物具有约100至约15,000cp的粘度。
33.一种用于个人护理组合物的稳定性控制体系,所述稳定性控制体系包含:
水;
第一组分,所述第一组分包含非离子乳浊剂;和
第二组分,所述第二组分包含离子聚合物;
其中所述第一组分和所述第二组分以约8∶1至约1∶4的范围内的重量比存在。
34.根据权利要求35所述的稳定性控制体系,其中所述第一组分和所述第二组分以约6∶1至约1∶4的范围内的重量比存在。
35.根据权利要求36所述的稳定性控制体系,其中所述第一组分和所述第二组分以约4∶1至约1∶3.6的范围内的重量比存在。
36.根据权利要求35至37中任一项所述的稳定性控制体系,其中所述稳定性控制体系基本上不含苯乙烯丙烯酸酯共聚物。
37.根据权利要求35至38中任一项所述的稳定性控制体系,其中所述第一组分包含乙二醇二硬脂酸酯、椰油基葡糖苷、油酸甘油酯和硬脂酸甘油酯。
38.根据权利要求35至39中任一项所述的稳定性控制体系,其中所述第一组分具有在约3至约4的范围内的pH。
