Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to an access method and an access device.
Background
In 3GPP TS23.501, when an AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function entity) plans to stop service, it sends a logout message to a CPNF (Control Plane Network Function entity) with signaling interaction, and the CPNF that receives the logout message searches for a backup AMF through an NRF (Network connectivity Function entity), or directly establishes a connection with the backup AMF indicated in the logout message. However, when the CPNF does not subscribe to the message service of the AMF or does not receive the offline message due to network reasons and needs to perform signaling interaction with the AMF, the CPNF first sends a signaling message to the AMF that has originally stopped service, and the CPNF initiates a request for searching for a backup AMF only when multiple interactions fail, so that the signaling interaction time is long, and the service experience of a user may be affected.

Detailed Description
The following detailed description of embodiments of the invention refers to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating the present invention, are given by way of illustration and explanation only, not limitation.
In the 5G network, in order to achieve scalability of the network, a specific network function service entity or network function service instance is allowed to stop or exit service in a planned manner, the network function service entity or network function service instance with the same function replaces the network function service entity or network function service instance with the stopped or exited service to undertake the corresponding network service, and the replacement process is transparent to User Equipment (UE) and does not affect the service experience of the User.
For example, in 3GPP TS23.501, when planning to stop service, the AMF sends a "down message" or an "unavailable notification" to the CPNF with which it has signaling interaction. The CPNF that receives the message or notification searches for the substitute AMF through the NRF, or directly uses the backup AMF indicated in the "offline message" or the "unavailable notification" as the substitute AMF. However, in practical applications, if some CPNFs do not subscribe to the message service of the AMF or do not receive the "offline message" or the "unavailable notification" due to network reasons, when these CPNFs need to perform signaling interaction with the AMF, they first send a signaling message to the original AMF (i.e. the AMF that has stopped service), and if multiple interactions fail, they will initiate a request to the NRF to search for a backup AMF. This way of accessing the AMF may extend the time of signaling interaction and may even affect the user service experience.
A first aspect of the present application provides an access method. Fig. 1 is a flowchart of an access method according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 1, the method comprises the steps of:
step S101, under the condition that the offline message of the first access and mobility management function entity is not received and the connection with the first access and mobility management function entity fails, whether the appointed storage function entity stores the target message meeting the preset condition is judged.
Wherein the first access and mobility management functional entity is a functional entity allocated to provide services for the control plane network functional entity. The offline message is a message sent by the first access and mobility management functional entity when stopping or exiting the service, and is used for representing that the first access and mobility management functional entity stops providing the service. Typically, the logoff message includes an identifier of the first access and mobility management function entity, so that the function entity receiving the logoff message knows which function entity is to be logoff. The storage functional entity refers to a pre-designated functional entity for receiving the offline message of the first access and mobility management functional entity.
In some embodiments, the number of designated storage Function entities (NFs) may be plural. When the number of the storage functional entities is multiple, the storage functional entities form a storage functional entity Set (NF Set), where each NF may be a specific functional entity or an NF Instance (NF Service Instance). When the NF is an NF instance, each NF instance may contain one or more NF services, thereby constituting an NF Service Set (NF Service Set). Accordingly, the AMF is similar to NF, and may be either an AMF service function entity or an AMF service instance. In some other embodiments, the designated storage function may also be an operator operations Maintenance management System (OAMS). In this case, the OAMS stores the scheduled stop service information (e.g. the scheduled stop service operation log) of the access and mobility management functional entity, the AMF does not need to broadcast the offline message, and other functional entities can directly know which AMF will stop providing service according to the scheduled stop service information of the AMF.
In some implementations, in the case that the storage function entity is a node of a preset entity management block chain network, the offline message is a message broadcasted by the first access and mobility management function entity in the entity management block chain network, where the entity management block chain network is a block chain network for managing the storage function entity.
In some embodiments, the control plane network functional entity initiates a connection request to the first access and mobility management functional entity when not receiving an offline message of the first access and mobility management functional entity, determines that the connection with the first access and mobility management functional entity fails when the number of times of unsuccessfully connecting the first access and mobility management functional entity reaches a first preset number of times, and determines whether the specified storage functional entity stores a target message meeting a preset condition. The preset condition comprises a preset identification condition and a preset time condition, and the preset identification condition is that the target message comprises an identification of the first access and mobility management functional entity; the preset time condition is that the sending time of the target message is after a first reference time, and the first reference time is a time allocated by the first access and mobility management function entity to provide service for the control plane function entity. And when the message which simultaneously meets the preset identification condition and the preset time condition is judged to be stored in the storage functional entity, determining the message as a target message.
In some other embodiments, if the control plane network function entity and the first access and mobility management function entity successfully perform signaling interaction after the first reference time, the sending time of the target message is after a second reference time, where the second reference time is a time when the signaling interaction occurs. By setting the second reference time, the range of the query target message can be further narrowed, and the query efficiency is further improved.
It should be noted that the first preset number of times is optimally one. When the first preset number of times is one, that is, it is described that the connection between the control plane network functional entity and the first access and mobility management functional entity is failed once, the control plane network functional entity does not try to continue to connect the first access and mobility management functional entity, but directly initiates a request for querying a target message to the storage functional entity, thereby avoiding an increase in time delay caused by multiple attempts to connect the first access and mobility management functional entity.
Step S102, under the condition that the storage function entity is determined to store the target message, judging whether the target message comprises a backup identifier.
The backup identification is an identification of a second access and mobility management functional entity which is designated in advance and used for providing backup service for the control plane network functional entity. In practical application, a storage function entity may store a plurality of target messages meeting preset conditions, wherein a part of the target messages do not have backup identifiers, and another part of the target messages include backup identifiers.
In some embodiments, the "Alternate AMF ID" field in the target message indicates the backup identifier, and the value of the field is the backup identifier. The backup identifier can be obtained by obtaining the value of the 'Alternate AMF ID' field.
Step S103, under the condition that the target message is determined to include the backup identification, connection is established with the second access and mobility management functional entity according to the backup identification.
In some embodiments, the control plane network function entity initiates a connection request to the second access and mobility management function entity corresponding to the backup identifier, so as to establish a connection with the second access and mobility management function entity and use the related service provided by the second access and mobility management function entity.
In the access method provided by this embodiment, when the offline message of the first access and mobility management functional entity is not received and the connection with the first access and mobility management functional entity fails, it is determined whether the specified storage functional entity stores the target message that meets the preset condition; under the condition that the storage functional entity is determined to store the target message, judging whether the target message comprises a backup identifier; and under the condition that the target message comprises the backup identifier, establishing connection with the second access and mobility management function entity according to the backup identifier, avoiding the increase of time delay caused by that the CPNF tries to connect with the AMF which stops service for many times when not receiving the AMF offline message, timely determining the backup AMF and establishing connection with the backup AMF, and not influencing the service experience of a user.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of an access method according to a second embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 2, the method comprises the steps of:
step S201, when the offline message of the first access and mobility management function entity is not received and the connection with the first access and mobility management function entity fails, determining whether the specified storage function entity stores the target message meeting the preset condition.
Step S202, under the condition that the storage function entity is determined to store the target message, judging whether the target message comprises a backup identification.
Steps S201 to S202 in this embodiment are the same as steps S101 to S102 in the first embodiment of the present application, and are not described again here.
Step S203, in case that it is determined that the target message does not include the backup identifier, initiating a connection request to the first access and mobility management functional entity again.
And when the target message does not have the Alternate AMF ID field or the value of the Alternate AMF ID field is empty, indicating that the target message does not comprise the backup identification. In this case, the control plane network function entity again initiates a connection request to the first access and mobility management function entity.
In the access method provided in this embodiment, when the control plane network functional entity does not receive the offline message, the connection with the first access and mobility management functional entity fails, and the target message does not include the backup identifier, there is still a possibility: the first access and mobility management functional entity is temporarily lost due to problems such as network reasons. In this case, the control plane network function entity again initiates a connection request to the first access and mobility management function entity.
It should be noted that, in some embodiments, when the connection between the control plane network functional entity and the first access and mobility management functional entity fails and the connection failure times reach the preset times, the control plane network functional entity queries the storage functional entity for the backup identifier of the second access and mobility management functional entity, and establishes a connection with the second access and mobility management functional entity according to the backup identifier.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of an access method according to a third embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 3, the method comprises the steps of:
step S301, when the offline message of the first access and mobility management function entity is not received and the connection with the first access and mobility management function entity fails, determining whether the specified storage function entity stores the target message meeting the preset condition.
Step S301 in this embodiment is the same as step S101 in the first embodiment of this application, and is not described herein again.
Step S302, when it is determined that the storage function entity does not store the target message, the connection request is initiated to the first access and mobility management function entity again.
When the control plane network functional entity does not receive the offline message, the connection with the first access and mobility management functional entity fails, and the storage functional entity does not store the target message, there is a possibility that: the first access and mobility management functional entity is temporarily lost due to problems such as network reasons. In this case, the control plane network function entity again initiates a connection request to the first access and mobility management function entity.
Step S303, when the connection failure times with the first access and mobility management functional entity reach a second preset time, querying the backup identifier of the second access and mobility management functional entity from the storage functional entity.
The second preset times is greater than the first preset times, and the first preset times is a time threshold value for the control plane network functional entity not to successfully connect the first access and mobility management functional entity before judging whether the storage functional entity stores the target message meeting the preset condition.
In some embodiments, when the connection failure times of the control plane network functional entity and the first access and mobility management functional entity reach the second preset times, it indicates that the first access and mobility management functional entity is in an offline state for a long time, and in order to avoid influencing user service experience, after the connection failure times reach the second preset times, the control plane network functional entity does not continue to try to connect the first access and mobility management functional entity, but starts to search for the backup AMF. Specifically, the control plane network functional entity queries the backup identifier of the second access and mobility management functional entity from the storage functional entity.
Step S304, according to the backup mark, establishing connection with the second access and mobile management function entity.
In some embodiments, the control plane network function entity initiates a connection request to the second access and mobility management function entity corresponding to the backup identifier, so as to establish a connection with the second access and mobility management function entity and use the related service provided by the second access and mobility management function entity.
The steps of the above methods are divided for clarity, and the implementation may be combined into one step or split some steps, and the steps are divided into multiple steps, so long as the same logical relationship is included, which are all within the protection scope of the present patent; it is within the scope of the patent to add insignificant modifications to the algorithms or processes or to introduce insignificant design changes to the core design without changing the algorithms or processes.
A second aspect of the present application provides an access device. Fig. 4 is a block diagram of an access apparatus 400 according to a fourth embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 4, the access apparatus 400 includes:
the first determining module 401 is configured to determine whether the specified storage function entity stores the target message meeting the preset condition when the offline message of the first access and mobility management function entity is not received and the connection with the first access and mobility management function entity fails.
A second judging module 402, configured to, in case that it is determined that the storage function entity stores the target message, judge whether the target message includes the backup identity.
A connection module 403, configured to establish a connection with the second access and mobility management function entity according to the backup identifier if it is determined that the target message includes the backup identifier.
It should be noted that the access device referred to in this embodiment is a generic term for the control plane network function entity.
The access device provided in this embodiment determines whether the specified storage function entity stores the target message meeting the preset condition, when the offline message of the first access and mobility management function entity is not received and the connection with the first access and mobility management function entity fails; under the condition that the storage functional entity is determined to store the target message, judging whether the target message comprises a backup identifier; and under the condition that the target message comprises the backup identifier, establishing connection with the second access and mobility management function entity according to the backup identifier, avoiding the increase of time delay caused by that the CPNF tries to connect with the AMF which stops service for many times when not receiving the AMF offline message, timely determining the backup AMF and establishing connection with the backup AMF, and not influencing the service experience of a user.
A third aspect of the present application provides an access system.
Fig. 5 is a block diagram of an access system according to a fifth embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 5, the access system 500 includes: a first access and mobility management function 501, a second access and mobility management function 502, a storage function 503 and a control plane network function 504.
In some embodiments, the first access and mobility management function 501 and the control plane network function 504 provide services for the terminal. If the first access and mobility management functional entity 501 goes offline and the control plane network functional entity 504 does not receive the offline message of the first access and mobility management functional entity 501, after the connection between the control plane network functional entity 504 and the first access and mobility management functional entity 501 fails, the control plane network functional entity 504 initiates a query request to the storage functional entity 503 to determine whether the storage functional entity 503 stores a target message meeting a preset condition. If the storage function entity 503 stores the target message meeting the preset condition, it determines whether the target message includes the backup identifier, and establishes a connection with the second access and mobility management function entity 502 through the backup identifier if the target message includes the backup identifier. The backup identifier is the identifier of the second access and mobility management functional entity 502.
It should be noted that, if the storage functional entity 503 does not store the target message meeting the preset condition, or the target message does not include the backup identifier, the control plane network functional entity 504 may initiate the connection request to the first access and mobility management functional entity 501 again, and when the number of connection failures with the first access and mobility management functional entity 501 reaches the preset number, search for the backup AMF through the NRF according to the prior art, and establish a connection with the backup AMF.
Fig. 6 is a schematic signaling interaction diagram of an access method according to a sixth embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 6, the signaling interaction procedure includes:
in step S601, the first access and mobility management functional entity 501 designates the second access and mobility management functional entity 502 as the backup AMF.

It should be noted that, in addition to exiting the service, the first access and mobility management functional entity 501 also stores the context information of the terminal managed by itself in the UDSF (Unstructured Data Storage Function 503) or the second access and mobility management functional entity 502.
In step S603, the control plane network function entity 504 attempts to establish a connection with the first access and mobility management function entity 501, and the connection fails.
In step S604, the control plane network function 504 sends a target message query request to the storage function 503.
Step S605, the storage function entity 503 determines whether there is a target message meeting a preset condition;
step S606, the storage function entity 503 generates a corresponding target message feedback result according to the determination result, and sends the target message feedback result to the control plane network function entity 504.
It is assumed that the target message feedback result includes a backup identifier, which is the identifier of the second access and mobility management functional entity 502.
In step S607, the control plane network functional entity 504 receives the target message feedback result fed back by the storage functional entity 503, and obtains the backup identifier according to the target message feedback result.
In step S608, the control plane network function entity 504 sends a connection request to the second access and mobility management function entity 502 according to the backup identifier.
In step S609, the control plane network function entity 504 receives the connection feedback returned by the second access and mobility management function entity 502.
In step S610, the control plane network function 504 establishes a connection with the second access and mobility management function 502 based on the connection feedback.
It should be noted that each module referred to in this embodiment is a logical module, and in practical applications, one logical unit may be one physical unit, may be a part of one physical unit, and may be implemented by a combination of multiple physical units.
