Abstract
The invention has explained a test system and test method to utilize intelligent mobile phone to carry on automation test, the test system includes main control computer, control unit, computer to be tested and intelligent mobile phone; the computer to be tested comprises a device to be tested, a light detector and a sound output device, wherein the device to be tested is electrically connected with the control unit and can be controlled by the control unit to generate a diagnosis event; the optical detector is used for receiving the optical trigger signal, and when the optical detector receives the optical trigger signal, the computer to be tested enables the sound output device to output prompt tones according to the diagnosis events; the smart phone comprises a flash lamp and a microphone, wherein the flash lamp is used for projecting a light trigger signal, the microphone senses and receives a prompt tone of the computer to be tested, and the smart phone generates a test result according to the prompt tone and transmits the test result to the main control computer; by the test system, the computer to be tested can be automatically tested.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a test system, and more particularly, to a test system and a test method for performing an automated test using a smart phone.
Background
Before the computer product leaves the factory, diagnostic tests need to be performed on the computer product. Conventionally, when performing a diagnostic test on a computer to be tested, a tester needs to manually generate a diagnostic event (for example, the fan rotates too slowly, and the power supply voltage is insufficient) on the computer to be tested, and manually observe a light signal or a warning sound presented by the computer to be tested to determine whether the computer to be tested can pass the diagnostic test. If the diagnostic test needs to be continued for a long time in a cyclic process, the tester cannot concentrate on the light or the warning sound output by the computer to be tested at any time and for a long time, which may result in that whether the test result meets the standard or not may not be known in the diagnostic test process, and even result in a test result that is missed or misjudged, so there is still room for improvement.
Disclosure of Invention
One of the objectives of the present invention is to improve the deficiency of the prior art, and to provide a test system capable of automatically testing a computer under test.
Therefore, the test system for performing the automated test by using the smart phone provided by the invention comprises a main control computer, a control unit, a computer to be tested and the smart phone. The control unit is located outside the main control computer and electrically connected with the main control computer. The computer to be tested comprises at least one device to be tested, a light detector and a sound output device, wherein the at least one device to be tested is electrically connected with the control unit and can be controlled by the control unit to generate a diagnosis event. The light detector is used for receiving the light trigger signal, and when the light detector receives the light trigger signal, the computer to be tested correspondingly outputs a prompt tone through the sound output device according to the diagnosis event. The smart phone is connected with the main control computer and comprises a flash lamp and a microphone, the flash lamp points to the light detector and can be driven to project the light trigger signal, the microphone senses the prompt tone, the smart phone generates a test result according to the prompt tone, and the smart phone transmits the test result to the main control computer.
According to the smart phone of the test system, the functions of the flashlight and the microphone of the smart phone can be utilized to automatically test the computer to be tested, and the correctness of the test result can be improved. Because the computer to be tested is tested in a full-automatic manner, the missing judgment or the misjudgment caused by the carelessness of testing personnel can be avoided. When the test result is transmitted to the main control computer, the main control computer can correspondingly store and record the test result so as to be tracked and analyzed by the tester.
In one aspect, the computer under test is a workstation, but the invention is not limited thereto.
In another aspect, the dut is a cooling fan, and the diagnostic event is that the rotational speed of the cooling fan is lower than a predetermined value, but the invention is not limited thereto. When the diagnosis event occurs, the computer under test may generate an error due to the diagnosis event and generate a warning tone.
In another aspect, the test system further includes a carrying device electrically connected to the control unit and carrying the smart phone, and the carrying device is controlled by the control unit to be capable of rotating or moving relative to the computer to be tested, thereby approaching or departing from the computer to be tested. Through the bearing device, the situation that a tester actually carries out manual testing can be simulated, and the aim of testing in a full-automatic, multi-mode and multi-task mode is fulfilled.
In another aspect, the smart phone further stores an application program, and the smart phone translates the prompt tone into a test result through the application program. In addition, the intelligent mobile phone is connected with the main control computer through a network, so that the translated test result can be transmitted to the main control computer through the network, and the main control computer records and stores the test result so as to facilitate subsequent tracking and analysis of the test result.
The invention also provides a test method for automatic test by using a smart phone, which tests a computer to be tested by a main control computer, a control unit and the smart phone, wherein the main control computer is electrically connected with the control unit, the smart phone is provided with a flash lamp and a microphone, the smart phone is connected with the main control computer, the computer to be tested is provided with at least one device to be tested, a light detector and a sound output device, the at least one device to be tested is electrically connected with the control unit, and the test method comprises the following steps: controlling the at least one device under test by the control unit to enable the computer under test to generate a diagnostic event; enabling the flash lamp to project a light trigger signal to a light detector of the computer to be detected, and enabling the computer to be detected to output prompt tones through a sound output device according to the diagnosis events; the microphone receives the prompt tone and translates the prompt tone into a test result; and transmitting and storing the test result to the main control computer.

Detailed Description
For a detailed description of the technical features of the present invention, reference is made to the following examples, which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein:
as shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2, an automated testing system 1 for performing a diagnostic test on a computer under test 30 is provided in the present embodiment. The testing system 1 includes a main control computer 10, a control unit 20, the computer 30 to be tested, and a smart phone 40.
The main control computer 10 is a computer capable of performing general operations, and is provided with components such as a general processor and a memory therein. Referring to fig. 3, the control interface 11 of the application program has a plurality of test items for the tester to select, including but not limited to the device 31 to be tested (e.g. cooling fan, power supply, memory … …), diagnostic events (… …) for abnormal cooling fan speed, failure of cooling fan, etc.), and the test angle of the carrier 50 to be described later.
The control unit 20 is located outside the host computer 10 and is electrically connected to the host computer 10. The control unit 20 is substantially a Microprocessor (MCU) in this embodiment, and the control unit 20 is connected to the host computer 10 through a connection cable, so that the host computer 10 can transmit instructions to the control unit 20 and communicate with the control unit 20.
The dut 30 includes a plurality of duts 31, a photodetector 32, and an audio output device 33 (e.g., a buzzer). Device under test 31 is electrically connected to control unit 20 and is capable of generating diagnostic events under the control of control unit 20. In the present embodiment, the dut 31 is a heat dissipation fan as an example, and the control unit 20 controls the rotation speed of the heat dissipation fan through the connection line, so that the control unit 20 can control the heat dissipation fan to generate a diagnostic event that the rotation speed of the heat dissipation fan is lower than a standard value. The optical detector 32 is used for receiving the optical trigger signal, when the optical detector 32 receives the optical trigger signal, the computer 30 to be tested is triggered and correspondingly outputs an alert tone through the sound output device 33 according to the diagnostic event, wherein the alert tone is a diagnostic tone (diagnostic Beep Code); when the light detector 32 does not receive the light trigger signal, even if the device under test 31 has the above diagnostic event, the computer under test 30 will not output the warning tone through the sound output device 33.
The smartphone 40 is a smartphone 40 that can perform general arithmetic functions. The smartphone 40 is connected to the host computer 10 via a network, and the smartphone 40 includes a flash 41 and a microphone 42, the flash 41 pointing to the light detector 32 and the flash 41 being capable of being driven to project the light trigger signal. The microphone 42 is used for sensing the warning sound outputted by the sound output device 33 of the computer 30 under test. The smart phone 40 further has an Application program (Application), the smart phone 40 translates the alert tone and correspondingly generates a test result through the Application program, and then the smart phone 40 transmits the test result to the host computer 10 through the network, and the host computer 10 can record and store the test result after receiving each item of test data of the test result.
The test system 1 of the present embodiment is further provided with a carrying device 50, and the carrying device 50 is electrically connected to the control unit 20 and carries the smartphone 40. The carrying unit can be controlled and can make the carrying device 50 rotate a testing angle relative to the computer 30 under test by a general mechanical device (e.g. motor, wire rail, etc.), or be controlled and moved relative to the computer 30 under test to get close to or far away from the computer 30 under test, thereby more truly simulating the situation of the testing personnel actually performing manual testing.
In actual testing, please refer to fig. 4, which illustrates a testing method of an automated test according to the present embodiment, where the testing method includes the following steps:
step S1: and starting the steps. In step S1, the host computer 10 and the control unit 20 are connected to enable the host computer 10 and the control unit 20 to communicate with each other. A device under test 31 (i.e. a cooling fan in the embodiment) connecting the control unit 20 and the computer under test 30, and a carrier 50. Step S2: according to the test items determined in step S1, the host computer 10 sends a command to the control unit 20, and the control unit 20 controls the carrier 50 to rotate to the test angle determined in step S1, which may be one or more test angles.
Step S3: according to the test items determined in step S1, the host computer 10 sends a command to the control unit 20 to control the cooling fan so that the computer under test 30 generates a diagnostic event (e.g., the rotation speed of the cooling fan is lower than a standard value).
Step S4: the host computer 10 transmits a command to the smartphone 40 to enable the flash lamp 41 of the smartphone 40 to project a light trigger signal to the light detector 32 of the computer 30 to be tested, so that the computer 30 to be tested outputs a warning tone through the sound output device 33 according to the diagnostic event.
Step S5: the host computer 10 transmits a command to the smartphone 40 to make the microphone 42 of the smartphone 40 receive the alert tone output in step S4, and the smartphone 40 translates the alert tone into a test result.
Step S6: determine if the smartphone 40 has successfully obtained 5 test results? If yes, go to step S7; if the judgment result is negative, the process returns to the step S2 again.
Step S7: the host computer 10 sends a command to the smartphone 40 to make the smartphone 40 send the test result to the host computer 10, and the host computer 10 stores the test result.
Step S8: is it judged whether all the test angles are completed? If the judgment result is yes, all the steps are ended and the step S9 is entered; if the judgment result is negative, the process returns to step S2.
By the test system 1 and the test method of the embodiment, the computer 30 to be tested is automatically tested by using the functions of the flash lamp 41 and the microphone 42 of the smart phone 40, so that the correctness of the test result can be improved, and the situation that the test result is missed or misjudged due to carelessness of a tester is avoided, and when the test result is transmitted to the main control computer 10, the main control computer 10 can correspondingly store and record the test result. Therefore, the tester can obtain the detailed test data from the test result of the host computer 10 afterwards, so as to facilitate the subsequent debugging (debug). Not only can avoid the error that the tester judged, also can effectively promote the quality of automated testing to improve the precision of automated testing.
Moreover, with the test system 1 and the test method of the embodiment, after the automatic test is introduced, the tester only needs to connect and complete the setting of the main control computer 10, the smart phone 40, the control unit 20, the bearing device 50 and the computer 30 to be tested, so that the computer 30 to be tested can be automatically tested, manual intervention is not needed at all, and the labor cost can be saved.
