The preparation method of the flame-retardant adhesive comprises the following steps: adding high amylose starch into a calcium chloride solution, uniformly stirring, and heating to obtain transparent colloidal fluid; and then adding glycerol into the transparent colloidal fluid, preserving heat, stirring and blending, and cooling to obtain the environment-friendly flame-retardant adhesive for the cartons. The high amylose starch refers to natural starch with the high amylose content of more than 50 percent in starch. The invention creatively adopts high amylose starch and glycerin as raw materials to prepare the environment-friendly flame-retardant adhesive for the carton, which meets the requirement of carton adhesion, has flame retardance and can prevent fire.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of adhesives, and particularly relates to preparation and application of a green and environment-friendly flame-retardant adhesive for a carton.
Background
With the explosive development of electronic commerce and express delivery, hundreds of millions of commodities are transported to various places through cartons every day. The carton belongs to inflammable substance, and a large amount of cartons are piled up and are deposited and are very easily cause fire accidents. For example, the Guangdong Shenzhen in 2019 jointly issued with Xingxi paper products factory generates great fire, and the loss is as high as 2 hundred million yuan; in the 'double 11' period of 2019, one express delivery truck is on fire, and 13 tons of express packages are burnt.
In order to avoid fire accidents of the carton in factory buildings and transportation processes, the carton needs to be subjected to flame retardant treatment. Most of the existing flame-retardant cartons are made by spraying flame retardant, adding flame-retardant filler or making flame-retardant fibers into paper-making fibers, so that the paper has a flame-retardant effect. These methods have high production cost and complex operation process, and part of the methods can not effectively resist flame. On the other hand, starch is a common carton adhesive, but the processing procedure of the common starch adhesive is complex, starch prepared from modified starch is easy to agglomerate in the sizing process, the starch is not easy to dry after being coated on corrugated boards, and the corrugated boards are easy to absorb water and deform.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to overcome the defects of the prior art, the invention mainly aims to provide a preparation method of a green environment-friendly flame-retardant adhesive for a carton.
The invention also aims to provide the environment-friendly flame-retardant adhesive for the cartons, which is prepared by the method.
The invention further aims to provide application of the environment-friendly flame-retardant adhesive for the cartons. According to the invention, the sizing process is simplified by modifying starch, so that the starch glue is more viscous and has stronger binding power; on the other hand, the ignition point of the starch glue is improved, and the safety of transportation and storage is improved.
The purpose of the invention is realized by the following scheme:
a preparation method of a green environment-friendly flame-retardant adhesive for cartons comprises the following steps:
adding high amylose starch into a calcium chloride solution, uniformly stirring, and heating to obtain transparent colloidal fluid; and then adding glycerol into the transparent colloidal fluid, preserving heat, stirring and blending, and cooling to obtain the environment-friendly flame-retardant adhesive for the cartons.
The high amylose starch refers to natural starch with the amylose content of not less than 50 percent in starch.
The mass ratio of the calcium chloride to the water in the calcium chloride solution is 1: 1.25-1: 2.5, and preferably 1:2.
The dosage of the high amylose starch and the calcium chloride solution meets the following requirements: the mass ratio of the high amylose starch to the calcium chloride solution is not less than 1:10, preferably 1.4: 10-1.7: 10.
The temperature of the heating treatment is not lower than 65 ℃, and preferably 75 ℃;
the time of the heat treatment is not shorter than 0.5h, preferably 1.5 h.
The glycerol is used in such an amount that the mass ratio of glycerol to high amylose is greater than 1:19, preferably 9: 41.
The time for mixing and stirring under heat preservation is not less than 0.5h, preferably 1 h.
The sample prepared by the method is cooled to obtain the adhesive liquid.
The environment-friendly flame-retardant adhesive for the cartons, which is prepared by the method, is disclosed.
The green environment-friendly flame-retardant adhesive for the carton is applied to the carton.
The application method of the environment-friendly flame-retardant adhesive for the cartons adopts a hot sizing mode to coat: the adhesive is first heated to over 80 deg.c to form flowable sol, and then coated directly onto the surface of paperboard to adhere other paperboards. After bonding, the paper box is dried for 10-20min in an environment with the temperature of more than 60 ℃, the paper boards can be firmly bonded, and the bonding part can be flame-retardant.
The mechanism of the invention is as follows:
the amylopectin content of common starch is high. The gelatinized amylopectin has high viscosity but weak binding force to water, so the formed glue solution has high free water content, volatile water, unstable performance and weak binding force. In the high amylose starch, the content of the amylose is high, and the formed gel structure has strong binding force on water molecules, so that the glue solution does not contain free water, and has strong binding force and stable performance. Meanwhile, the glue solution contains a large amount of bound water, and has a flame retardant effect. And secondly, the calcium chloride solution promotes the gelatinization of the high amylose starch, the gelatinization difficulty is reduced, and the contained chloride ions have flame retardance. The addition of glycerol improves the fluidity of the mucus and ensures the stability of hot sizing.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following advantages and beneficial effects:
(1) the invention prepares the adhesive for the carton with good flame retardance. The adhesive has simple components, low cost, simple preparation process, no three-waste discharge and environmental protection.
(2) The flame-retardant adhesive prepared by the invention has excellent flame retardance and cohesiveness, and can meet the requirements of carton bonding and flame retardance.
(3) The flame-retardant adhesive prepared by the invention is convenient to use: the gel is solid gel at room temperature, and is convenient to store and transport; when in use, the adhesive can be applied by heating and melting.
