Background
The power transformer is an important link of a power transmission and distribution network of a power system, and is mainly used for converting the voltage of a power grid so as to realize electric energy transmission. The transformer noise originates from the transformer body and the cooling system, wherein the body noise originates from (1) vibrations caused by iron core magnetostriction and winding electrodynamic force; (2) the electromagnetic attraction force generated by magnetic leakage exists between the joints of the silicon steel sheets and the laminated sheets to cause the vibration of the iron core; (3) when a load current passes through the winding, leakage flux generated by the load current causes vibration of the coil and the oil tank wall. The body noise is transmitted to the tank and the accessories through the core foot and the transformer oil. The noise of the cooling system is mainly derived from the vibration of the fan and the oil pump.
Research shows that the noise of the transformer body is composed of noise with two times of power supply frequency as base frequency and low-frequency noise with frequency as integral multiple of fundamental frequency, and the frequency spectrum of the noise is mainly concentrated on 50Hz and frequency multiplication components thereof within 700Hz range. The noise control of the transformer is mainly divided into two modes of noise source control and propagation path control. The former adopts modes of improving the material and structure of the transformer body and the like, can directly reduce the noise level of the transformer from the source, has the most obvious noise reduction effect, but has higher technical difficulty and cost. The latter reduces the transformer noise by applying a sound insulating/absorbing (vibrating) material to absorb the energy of the vibrating sound signal during the noise (vibration) transmission process, has a certain noise reduction effect and is relatively low in cost, but the noise reduction effect on the low-frequency signal still needs to be improved.
