Background
At present, the market of flexible electronic device products is gradually expanded, but the miniaturization of the products puts higher requirements on the bending performance of the flexible display panel, and the products have to be bent by 180 degrees under a narrower bending width. In the related art, a panel main body portion where a display region is provided in a display panel and a panel connecting portion for connecting to a circuit board are generally designed to be wide, and a bent portion is designed to be narrow. Thus, chamfers are generated between the bending part and the panel main body part and between the bending part and the panel connecting part. The risk of breaking the bend is increased due to stress concentration at the location of the chamfer.

According to the display panel 100 of the embodiment of the invention, at least one side edge of the panel connecting portion 3 in the second direction is set to be collinear with the edge of the bent portion 2 in the second direction, so that one or two chamfers between the bent portion 2 and the panel connecting portion 3 can be reduced, the number of chamfers on the display panel 100 is reduced, the structural strength of the display panel 100 is improved, and the risk of fracture of the bent portion 2 is greatly reduced.
According to some embodiments of the invention, at least one side edge of the panel connecting portion 3 in the second direction is perpendicular to the second direction. Specifically, one side edge of the panel connecting portion 3 in the second direction is perpendicular to the second direction, or both side edges of the panel connecting portion 3 in the second direction are perpendicular to the second direction.
For example, in the example of fig. 1 and 2, both side edges of the panel connecting portion 3 in the second direction are perpendicular to the second direction. At this time, both side edges of the panel connecting portion 3 extend in the vertical direction shown in fig. 1. The panel connecting portion 3 may be formed in a rectangular shape. The bent portion 2 may be formed in a rectangular shape or a square shape. The width of the bent portion 2 is equal to the width of the panel connecting portion 3.
