Description

Anti-cracking and anti-curl water-based painting pigment composition and preparation method and application thereof
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of art painting pigments, relates to an aqueous painting pigment, and particularly relates to an aqueous painting pigment composition which is used on gouache paper and does not crack or roll paper.
Background
The gouache is the most common painting type in beginner painting, and the expressive force is between oil painting and water painting. With the change of social aesthetics, the painting style is changed, and the gouache gradually deflects to the thick painting method.
Gouache is a short name of gouache, is called as 'publicity color' in China in various names, has weaker covering power compared with acrylic pigment (or named as 'concentrated poster pigment'), and belongs to a special watercolor, namely, opaque watercolor pigment. Because of low price, easy learning and easy use, the painting is often used for beginners to learn the entrance painting materials of color paintings, and the usage simulates oil painting techniques or water painting techniques.
The water powder has high color saturation as high as that of oil painting pigment when wet, and the saturation is greatly reduced due to the powder action and color loss after drying, which is the limitation of color purity. The improvement in water-borne lightness is achieved by dilution, addition of powder or a light color with more of a powdery pigment. The dry-wet change of gouache is very large, some gouache powder with only a little color is often added, and the lightness shows a dark or light difference between the wet and dry states, which is the dry-wet reaction of gouache pigments. Because the color of the dried gouache generally becomes lighter, the application of the gouache is the most difficult problem to solve in the gouache technology. The color containing the powder just ensures that the color of the picture is full of the special 'powder' quality of the gouache, and the special rich intermediate color appears, but the fineness of the color of the gouache is far lower than that of the oil painting.
CN105238115A provides a gouache and a preparation method thereof, wherein the gouache comprises a filler, an adhesive, a colorant and essence, the adhesive comprises a synthetic rubber powder raw material, a natural rubber powder raw material, a humectant, a preservative and distilled water, the synthetic rubber powder raw material comprises methyl cellulose, and the natural rubber powder raw material comprises peach gum and arabic gum. The gouache is prepared by the steps of preparing an adhesive, mixing powder, grinding, drying, sterilizing, sieving, perfuming, pressing, forming and the like. The gouache has moderate viscosity, bright color, ideal water-soluble speed and ideal thickness and coverage. However, the conventional gouache has the problems of paper rolling, cracking, even falling off and the like after being dried by thick coating, and is not favorable for displaying works.
Therefore, in order to adapt to a novel painting style, the development of a novel gouache which does not crack after being used on gouache paper is imperative.

Performance testing
The fineness, fluidity, wrappability, cracking property and viscosity of the aqueous painting pigments obtained in the examples and comparative examples were tested by the following test methods:
1. fineness of fineness
The sample was thoroughly blended with 3# varnish (available from Kaiyuan oil & fats Co., Taicano) in a volume ratio of 1:3 using a QXD-50 blade fineness meter, placed on the upper end of the fineness meter, and scraped off from the top using a blade to visually indicate that the particle concentration point exceeded 35 points as the reading limit, expressed in μm.
2. Fluidity testing method
A0.1 mL sample is taken by a measuring tube and placed in the center of a circular glass sheet with the diameter of about 6.8cm, a piece of circular glass with the same diameter of 50g is lightly pressed, then a 200g weight is used for lightly pressing the center of the glass, the weight is lightly removed after 10min, the sample is stretched into a circle, and the average diameter is measured by a ruler.
3. Method for testing paper winding performance
100g of sample is taken and placed at 100g/m2And (3) uniformly and differently coating the test sample on the gram-weight gouache paper by using a bristle painting brush, and observing the deformation condition of the gouache paper after naturally drying for 2 hours.
4. Cracking test method
100g of sample is taken and placed at 100g/m2And (3) uniformly and differently coating the test sample on the gram-weight gouache paper by using a bristle painting brush, and observing the cracking degree of the pigment layer after naturally drying for 2 hours.
5. Viscosity test method
About 200mL of the sample was taken and placed in a 250mL container and the viscosity was measured using a Brookfield viscometer with a suitable spindle.
The fineness, fluidity, paper curl, cracking property and viscosity were measured according to the above-mentioned test methods, and the results are shown in table 5 below;
TABLE 5
Figure BDA0003030849140000121
Figure BDA0003030849140000131
As can be seen from comparison between example 1 and example 2, the imported hansa yellow 10G is adopted in example 1, the domestic fast yellow 10G is adopted in example 2, the same tool is used for research and development for the same time under the condition of using the same binder and dispersant, and the dispersibility and the easy grinding performance of the pigment prepared by adopting the imported toner are better than those of the domestic toner;
as can be seen from comparison among examples 1, comparative examples 1 and 2, montmorillonite and ground limestone are used as fillers in example 1, single-filler ground limestone is used in comparative example 1, and fumed silica and ground limestone are used in comparative example 2; it can be seen from the table that the fluidity and viscosity of the color are different and the cracking is different for the same time of grinding under the same process conditions. The cracking indexes of the embodiment 1 and the comparative example 1 are obviously better than that of the comparative example 2, which shows that the fumed silica has adverse effect on the cracking performance, and meanwhile, the pigment obtained in the comparative example 1 has overhigh fluidity and lower viscosity, which shows that the calcium carbonate alone is not beneficial to thickening of the pigment;
and as can be seen from comparison of example 1 with comparative example 4, the filler in the invention is preferably ground calcium carbonate rather than precipitated calcium carbonate, and the precipitated calcium carbonate has poorer hydrophilicity than the ground calcium carbonate, is easy to float white and bloom in the preparation process, and has obvious influence on the production efficiency;
as can be seen from comparison among examples 1, 5 and 3, the influence of the heavy calcium carbonate on the viscosity is obvious, and the ratio of the heavy calcium carbonate to the montmorillonite is preferably (1-2): 1, that is, when the content of the heavy calcium carbonate is equal to or slightly higher than that of the montmorillonite, the viscosity of the obtained pigment is moderate; however, when the heavy calcium carbonate is added too much, the viscosity of the resulting pigment becomes too high, which affects the use properties.
As can be seen from the comparison between example 1 and comparative example 5, the synthetic glue used in example 1 and the natural vegetable glue used in comparative example 5, it can be seen from the table that the cracking and the wrapping properties are not only related to the type of filler, but also related to the binder, and the properties of the synthetic modified glue are significantly better than those of the natural vegetable glue in terms of cracking and wrapping properties.
It can be seen from the comparison between example 1 and examples 6 and 7 that the compound dispersant is used in example 1, the single dispersant is used in example 6, and the dispersant of different manufacturers is replaced in example 7, and it can be seen from the table that since the dispersant does not affect the cracking property and the paper-winding property but affects the fineness, the fluidity and the viscosity of the pigment, the fineness, the viscosity and the fluidity of example 7 are higher and poorer, and the fineness, the viscosity and the fluidity of example 7 are lower and higher, respectively, it means that different wetting dispersants are used, and the fineness, the fluidity and the viscosity of the finally obtained painting pigment composition are different due to the fact that the same wetting dispersant is used and the same grinding time is carried out under the same process conditions, and the use difference is caused.
In conclusion, the aqueous painting pigment composition provided by the invention adopts the heavy calcium carbonate and the montmorillonite as the mixed filler, and adopts the novel dispersing auxiliary agent for dispersing, so that the flocculation separation phenomenon cannot occur, the obtained composition is ensured to have high color concentration and low viscosity, the dry-wet change is small, and the phenomenon of roll paper cracking cannot occur in normal use on the gouache paper.
The applicant declares that the above description is only a specific embodiment of the present invention, but the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto, and it should be understood by those skilled in the art that any changes or substitutions that can be easily conceived by those skilled in the art within the technical scope of the present invention are within the scope and disclosure of the present invention.
