In another embodiment, the first limiting portion 112 and the second limiting portion 33 may be omitted according to the practical situation, which is not limited in the present invention.
In order to lock the locking block 22 of the rotary cap 20 in the locking groove 32 by the inertia force of the torsion spring 13 when the first terminal body 11 is combined with the second terminal body 30, the locking groove 32 comprises an opening 321 arranged on the outer circumferential surface and a clamping groove 322 arranged on the outer circumferential surface and communicated with the opening 321, and a second guiding inclined plane 323 is arranged on one side of the opening 321 of the locking groove 32, wherein the second guiding inclined plane 323 is inclined from outside to inside towards the direction of the opening 321. Wherein, the travel between the clamping grooves 322 of the opening 321 is within the range of the rotational travel of the rotary cap 20 relative to the first terminal member 10 (corresponding to the radian range of the limiting groove 14). Under the condition that the first limiting portion 112 and the second limiting portion 33 are aligned, when the locking block 22 is aligned to the opening 321, the sliding block 211 is located at a first position in the limiting groove 14 corresponding to the urging of the torsion spring 13; under the condition that the first limiting portion 112 and the second limiting portion 33 are aligned, when the locking block 22 is aligned to the clamping groove 322, the sliding block 211 is located at a second position of the limiting groove 14 corresponding to the torsion spring 13 released from the first position. With the foregoing arrangement, the inertial force of the torsion spring 13 is provided by the opening 321 in the direction of the catching groove 322 to rotate the rotating cap 20 to lock the locking block 22 inside the catching groove 322.
In one embodiment, the second terminal member body 30 is provided with threads 34 on its outer peripheral surface for locking by internal threads (not shown) of a protective housing, which is not limiting in the present invention.
The specific structure of the electrical connector assembly 100 of the present invention is described in detail above, and the following description is made regarding the use state of the electrical connector assembly 100 of the present invention, please refer to fig. 5 and 6, which are a schematic diagram (one) of the male and female terminals of the first embodiment of the present invention and a schematic diagram (two) of the male and female terminals of the first embodiment of the present invention.
First, as shown in fig. 5, in the assembling stage of the male and female terminals, the first limiting portion 112 (e.g. a fool-proof rib) of the first terminal member body 11 is aligned to the second limiting portion 33 (e.g. a fool-proof groove) of the second terminal member body 30 (as shown in fig. 2 and 7), thereby axially combining the first terminal member body 11 and the second terminal member body 30. The spin cap 20 is configured such that when the first stop 112 is aligned to the second stop 33, the first guide ramp 221 on the lock block 22 of the spin cap 20 happens to be aligned to the second guide ramp 323 of the lock groove 32.
Next, as shown in fig. 6, when the first terminal member body 11 is inserted into the second terminal member body 30, the first guiding inclined surface 221 on the locking block 22 of the rotating cap 20 is forced toward the second guiding inclined surface 323 and moves toward the opening 321 along with the guiding of the second guiding inclined surface 323 (forces the torsion spring 13); when the locking block 22 enters the opening 321, the locking block 22 moves to the releasing side of the torsion spring 13, and the elastic force provided by the torsion spring 13 is received to move toward the locking groove 322 (as indicated by arrow A1) through the position of the opening 321, so as to achieve the locking effect.
When the locking is removed, the locking effect can be achieved by only rotating the rotary cap 20 to the bottom in the reverse direction (unlocking direction) and pulling out the first terminal member body 11. The unlocked rotary cap 20 is returned to the original position by the elastic force of the torsion spring 13.
Referring to fig. 7 to 12, an assembly process of the first terminal electrical connector 1A is shown from the first to the sixth embodiments of the present invention.
For convenience of description and clear understanding of technical features of the present invention, the assembly process of fig. 7 to 12 is schematically shown in the drawings in which the rotary caps respectively show only a part of the inner structure, so as to clear understanding of the assembly process of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 7, in the assembling process, the central sleeve portion of the torsion spring 13 is first sleeved on the outer peripheral side of the first terminal body 11, and the first end 131 of the torsion spring 13 is inserted into the positioning slot 15 to combine the torsion spring 13 with the first terminal body 11.
Next, the second end 132 of the torsion spring 13 is aligned with and inserted into the opening of the guide groove 2121 on the rotary cap 20, and then as shown in fig. 8, the rotary cap 20 is sleeved on the first terminal member body 11, so that the second end 132 of the torsion spring 13 moves along the guide groove 2121 and is pushed to the bottom from the axial direction (as indicated by arrow A2) until the locking block 22 hits the first thrust wall 161.
Next, referring to fig. 9, the rotary cap 20 is rotated relative to the first terminal body 11, and the locking block 22 is aligned to pass through the through groove 17 between the adjacent lateral locking portions 16, and then the rotary cap 20 is pushed forward from the axial direction (as indicated by arrow A3) to the bottom as shown in fig. 10, until the positioning wing 23 passes through the relief space SP and hits the second thrust wall 162.
Next, referring to fig. 11, after the above-mentioned assembling process, the position of the slider 211 is configured to be exactly aligned to the boss 141 on one side of the limiting slot 14; next, as shown in fig. 12, for example, the rotating cap 20 is rotated to make the slider 211 pass through the boss 141 (as indicated by arrow A4), so that the slider 211 moves into the limit groove 14; at the same time, the positioning wing 23 is inserted into the fitting groove 163 between the first thrust wall 161 and the second thrust wall 162, thereby forming an axial lock.
In addition to the above embodiments, the same structure can be implemented in the case of exchanging the male and female terminals, referring to fig. 13 and 14, the second embodiment of the present invention has an external view (a) and an external view (b).
In the second embodiment of the present invention, the first terminal electrical connector 1C may be implemented in the form of a male terminal, and the second terminal electrical connector 1D may be implemented in the form of a female terminal in cooperation with the first terminal electrical connector 1C. Specifically, the first terminal electrical connector 1C includes a rotary cap 20A and a first terminal member 10A disposed in cooperation with the rotary cap 20A, wherein the internal structure of the rotary cap 20A is substantially the same as that of the first embodiment, and will not be described again. Compared with the first embodiment, the electrical terminal 12A on the first terminal member body 11A of the present embodiment is implemented in the form of a protruding pillar to form a male terminal instead of a terminal pin in the form of a terminal slot; the second terminal electric connector 1D includes a second terminal piece body 30A, wherein the outer configuration of the peripheral side of the second terminal piece body 30A is substantially the same as the first embodiment. Compared with the first embodiment, the electrical terminal 31A on the second terminal member body 30A of the present embodiment replaces the terminal slot with a terminal pin, and has a slot into which the protruding pillar is inserted to form the female terminal. The reverse arrangement of the male and female terminals, and the differences in the number, shape, and size of the terminal pins and terminal slots are not intended to be limiting. In another embodiment, the present invention can be used with various conventional connectors, and is not limited in this disclosure.
In summary, the terminal electrical connector of the present invention not only can achieve the effect of quick assembly and disassembly, but also can achieve relatively high strength in the axial direction of insertion and extraction, and has high convenience and reliability. In addition, the terminal electric connector of the invention is easier in assembly process than the past electric connector in terms of secondary efficacy, thereby effectively increasing the efficiency of the process and reducing the cost.
While the invention has been described in detail in connection with the present invention, it is to be understood that the above description is not intended to limit the scope of the invention, but is to be construed as a limitation on the scope of the invention.
