Description

Outer skin layer rope yarn splicing equipment and method of double-layer braided rope for yacht
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the field of rope production, and particularly relates to equipment and a method for splicing outer-skin layer rope yarns of double-layer braided ropes for a yacht.
Background
The double-layer braided rope has become a main component of high-end chemical fiber rigging for yachts due to the advantages of super-strong wear resistance, super-high breaking force and the like.
At the present stage, however, in view of the characteristics of the weaving equipment itself, i.e. the upper limit of the volume of the tube carrying the rope yarn, there is a splicing action of the rope yarn during the weaving process, i.e. "changing the ply" as described in the rope standards (conventionally, twisted rope yarn is called ply). The standard specification is as per ISO 10547: 2009 — polyester multifilament double braided construction rope is an example, described in the standards as follows:
1) in the weaving process, when the strand needs to be replaced, the new strand should be wound for a circle along the same route of the original strand;
2) the length of the head of the strand replacing part is about equal to 8 times of the diameter of the rope, and for the rope with the rope code number less than or equal to 72, the length of the head of the strand replacing part is not less than 600mm in order to ensure the firm joint;
3) in view of the characteristics of a knitting machine, the rope with the length within 200 meters (including 200 meters) allows the strand replacement of each of the inner core layer and the outer skin layer;
4) for ropes of length in excess of 200 meters, additional strand changes are allowed to occur between the inner core layer and the outer skin layer;
5) in view of the difficult detection behind the rope inner core layer change strand, the producer needs to provide the strand and changes record for the inspector.
For the outer skin layer of the double-layer braided rope for the yacht, the strand replacing method is mainly divided into two methods:
the first method comprises the following steps: firstly, setting the length of the remained end of the original strand to be 600mm, and then putting the original strand into the rope (parallel to the inner core layer); secondly, reversely inserting the new strand to the 'lower pattern knot buried part' of the original strand along the same route of the original strand; and finally, inching the length of 1 pitch of the machine, finishing the tension of the old strand, and continuing to start the machine.
And the second method comprises the following steps: firstly, setting the length of the remained end of the original strand to be 600mm, and then putting the original strand into the rope (parallel to the inner core layer); secondly, after the new folded yarn is turned along the reverse direction of the rotation of the bobbin, the head end of the new folded yarn is placed in the rope (overlapped with the original folded yarn) at the same time, and the new folded yarn is pressed into a fourth shape by the fifth angle or the third angle (the object of the pressing and the third angle is the folded yarn); and finally, inching the length of 1 pitch of the machine, finishing the tension of the new and old folded yarns, and continuing to start the machine.
In a natural state, the two methods can ensure the surface smoothness of the double-layer braided rope for the yacht at the rope and yarn splicing position (strand replacing position); however, it is known through feedback that when the double-layer braided rope for the yacht is repeatedly used, especially the rope needing to be repeatedly stretched and clamped in the operation process of a sail lifting rope, a sail controlling rope and the like, the two methods often cause the phenomena of strand protrusion and inner core layer leakage at a' rope yarn splicing part (strand replacing part) after the rope is unloaded, so that the rope is scrapped.
