The moxa sticks prepared in examples 1 to 3 were used to treat patients who had at least one pain in their trunk and who had a pain-sustaining period of not less than 30 days in clinical trials using the smoked moxa stick device of example 4. A total of 40 patients were enrolled and randomized into 4 groups, designated as group a, group B, group C and group D, wherein group a, group B and group C correspond to the prepared moxa sticks of examples 1-4, respectively, and group D was treated with moxa stick fumigation without drug powder. When the patients are treated, the patients are fumigated once every two days for 20min each time, and the patients are automatically graded according to the pain relieving degree, wherein 1 is mild pain, 2 is moderate pain, and 3 is severe pain, and the table 1 is the statistics of the grading table of the patients before and after treatment.

The moxa stick of claim 1, wherein the traditional Chinese medicine powder is prepared from the following medicinal raw materials in parts by mass: 15-20 parts of radix bupleuri, 10-15 parts of angelica sinensis, 7-8 parts of pericarpium citri reticulatae viride, 7-8 parts of ligusticum wallichii, 2-3 parts of safflower, 5-6 parts of uncaria, 5-6 parts of orange peel, 2-4 parts of ginger and 2-4 parts of liquorice.

s1: mixing bupleuri radix, radix Angelicae sinensis, pericarpium Citri Reticulatae viride, rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Carthami flos, ramulus Uncariae cum uncis, pericarpium Citri Tangerinae, rhizoma Zingiberis recens, and Glycyrrhrizae radix, drying, pulverizing into powder, and sieving all the raw materials with 100 mesh sieve to obtain mixed Chinese medicinal powder;
s2: mixing the traditional Chinese medicine powder obtained in the step S1 with moxa, and spraying plant essential oil on the surface of the moxa to moisten the surface of the moxa, so that the traditional Chinese medicine powder is completely adhered to the surface of the moxa to obtain a raw material with a package;
s3: and (5) extruding and packaging the raw materials to be packaged obtained in the step S2 to form the moxa roll.
