Description

Quantum device hardware resource unified management method and system based on application layer protocol
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of quantum computer application, and particularly relates to a quantum device hardware resource unified management method and system based on an application layer protocol.
Background
The quantum computer represents a new direction of computer development, the current development of the quantum computer shows a state of hundreds of flowers in a neat state, and the quantum computer is provided with quantum chips based on various physical forms such as superconduction, semiconductors, ion traps, atoms, nuclear spin and the like. A quantum computer is an arithmetic machine based on a quantum chip. Quantum computer hardware, mainly comprising two parts, one is a quantum chip support system, used for providing the necessary operating environment of the quantum chip; the other is a quantum computer control system which is used for realizing the control of the quantum chip so as to complete the operation process and obtain the operation result. At present, the international mainstream quantum computing research and development team mainly focuses on two systems of a superconducting quantum chip and a semiconductor quantum chip, and whichever system is, the most basic requirements of a quantum chip support system are a very low temperature environment close to absolute zero, so that the quantum chip works at a temperature far lower than the thermal noise temperature corresponding to the energy level of the quantum chip, and a dilution refrigerator for realizing dilution refrigeration by using 3He/4He mixed gas is required to provide the working temperature and the environment required by the quantum chip. Quantum computer control systems, in order to implement controlled quantum evolution processes, require the use of sophisticated pulse signals, usually implemented using a combination of high-speed arbitrary waveform generators, commercial microwave sources, mixing circuits, and the like. With the improvement of the integration level of the quantum chip, the disadvantages of the method for building the control and reading system of the quantum chip by purely adopting commercial instruments are more and more serious. Commercial instruments are expensive in cost, redundant in function, poor in compatibility and difficult to integrate, and do not meet the development requirements of future quantum computers.
The quantum computer control system is specially designed for the quantum computer, realizes the unified control of the equipment in the quantum chip support system and the equipment in the quantum computer control system, and is a necessary choice for commercialization of the quantum computer from a laboratory. In 2016, a set of integrated quantum chip measurement and control system capable of being used for 7-bit superconducting quantum chips is developed by cooperation of a Zurich instrument company and a research team of Daerfu university of Technology. In the prior art, targets are centralized in the management and control of equipment in a quantum computer control system, the equipment management and control in a quantum chip support system is not considered, so that functions are separated, an overall management and control scheme of a quantum computer is not formed, and the management and control efficiency is low. Taking a superconducting computer as an example, the quantum chip support system equipment comprises a dilution refrigerator temperature, pressure and flow sensor and a valve control unit, and in order to reduce the temperature in the dilution refrigerator to be close to absolute zero, namely below 20mk, the valve control unit needs to be controlled according to a set flow, so that a complex cooling process is completed, and the opposite heating process is similar. Although the conventional dilution refrigerator has special valve control software, the operation of the conventional dilution refrigerator is lack of organic integration of information such as temperature, pressure, flow and the like, and the conventional dilution refrigerator still depends on full-time monitoring of operators to process various conditions, so that the efficiency is extremely low. Meanwhile, the quantum chip supports the control separation of the system equipment and the quantum computer control system equipment, and the environmental information and the measurement and control information are also unhooked, so that the integration is required to be deeply participated by people, and automation and intellectualization are not used. Moreover, different research and development units respectively conduct management and control research and development on own quantum system equipment, and lack of unified standards, so that the compatibility is low.

The QDMP protocol is positioned at the application layer of a TCP/IP protocol at the common computer network level, is a protocol at the application layer and is realized based on TCP and IP. The protocol comprises two main components of a management service MS and a management agent MA, wherein the MS is a protocol control end and controls all the agent MAs; an MA is a management agent, which may be a classical computer or an embedded system, that controls a variety of quantum devices directly connected to it. Referring to fig. 2, the quantum device management information base can also be regarded as a communication bridge between the management service MS and the management agent MA.
As the method for uniformly managing the hardware resources of the quantum device based on the application layer protocol in the embodiment of the present invention, further, the management information base is used as a set of managed objects, and the object name variable describes the quantum architecture type of the managed objects, the organizational structure to which the device belongs, and the device type using a hierarchical tree structure. Furthermore, in the hierarchical tree structure, a plurality of nodes at the first level are used for representing the quantum architecture type, a plurality of nodes at the second level are used for representing the organization structure to which the equipment belongs, and a plurality of nodes at the third level are used for representing the equipment category.
Referring to fig. 3, the device name variables in the quantum device management information base use a hierarchical tree structure. The first-stage nodes represent quantum system structure types such as superconductivity and ion traps; the nodes of the second level represent the structure to which the device belongs; the nodes of the third stage represent equipment categories such as refrigeration equipment, power equipment, microwave source equipment, etc. The name variable identification of a particular object may be obtained by the path from the root to the object. The path definition variable also contains attribute information such as device type.
As the method for uniformly managing the hardware resources of the quantum device based on the application layer protocol in the embodiment of the present invention, further, a suffix used for representing a variable instance is added to an object name variable in a management information base.
