Background
When a user watches a video, the user can drag the video progress bar to check a video content thumbnail corresponding to a certain moment, so that the user can conveniently select the video progress. The client is mainly used for bearing a main task of displaying the video content thumbnail, and the client is required to load the video content thumbnail of the selected time progress point into a memory from a local cache and render the video content thumbnail into a screen.
The existing implementation mode that a client loads a video content thumbnail of a selected time progress point from a local cache to a memory and renders the thumbnail to a screen in real time is as follows: the client acquires a video picture arranged according to n x m x t from the server, and downloads the video picture to the local hard disk, wherein the video picture comprises x intermediate pictures. And cutting the intermediate picture according to the n-x-m rule, storing the sub-picture obtained after cutting in a local hard disk, and finally loading and displaying the corresponding sub-picture according to the selected time progress point. And n is the number of columns, m is the number of rows, n × m is the arrangement mode of the sub-pictures in the intermediate picture, x is the number of the sub-pictures, and t is the video duration corresponding to the sub-pictures. Wherein, the sub-picture is the video content thumbnail.
However, the existing implementation methods have many problems, for example, when the client loads the sub-picture, the client needs to load the sub-picture from the local hard disk into the memory and then draw the sub-picture into the screen, and if the user operates the progress bar too fast, the memory is suddenly increased in a short time, which affects the drawing speed of the sub-picture, thereby affecting the user experience.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present application clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application.
The term "and/or" herein is merely an association describing an associated object, meaning that three relationships may exist, e.g., a and/or B, may mean: a exists alone, A and B exist simultaneously, and B exists alone. In addition, the character "/" herein generally indicates that the former and latter related objects are in an "or" relationship.
In the embodiment of the present application, the terms "first video thumbnail" and "video thumbnail" are often used interchangeably, and the terms "first composite thumbnail" and "composite thumbnail" are also often used interchangeably, but those skilled in the art will understand the meaning thereof.
The first embodiment of the application provides a picture display method, which is applied to a server. The specific implementation of the method is shown in fig. 1:
step 101, acquiring a data request instruction sent by a client.
When a user opens a certain video through a client to watch, the client sends a data request instruction to a server, and the server acquires the data request instruction.
Specifically, there are various ways for generating the data request instruction, for example, when the user drags the progress bar, the client generates the data request instruction; when the user presses the designated position of the progress bar for a long time, the client generates a data request instruction; and when the video progress is changed due to the fact that the user slides the video, the client generates a data request instruction and the like.
And step 102, sending the first composite thumbnail to the client according to the data request instruction, so that the client selects the first video thumbnail corresponding to the first video preview instruction from the first composite thumbnail to display.
Wherein the first composite thumbnail includes N first video thumbnails, N being an integer greater than 1.
Specifically, the server, according to the acquired data request instruction, before sending the first composite thumbnail to the client, has previously stored all video data capable of supporting the client to play, where the video data includes: video files, a unique identifier for each video file, and video related data associated with each video, including: picture composition rules, overall thumbnails, composite thumbnails, video thumbnails, and the like.
In a specific embodiment, the server acquires video data corresponding to the data request instruction before sending the first composite thumbnail to the client according to the acquired data request instruction; determining a picture composition rule corresponding to the video data; and finally, sending the overall thumbnail and the picture composition rule to the client.
Wherein the video data comprises: an overall thumbnail, the overall thumbnail including: a first composite thumbnail. Wherein, this whole thumbnail still includes: a second composite thumbnail.
Specifically, the overall thumbnail may further include: a third composite thumbnail, a fourth composite thumbnail, and so on.
In one embodiment, the picture composition rule includes: an arrangement of the first video thumbnails, the arrangement comprising: the method comprises the following steps: a one-dimensional sorting manner or a two-dimensional sorting manner.
Specifically, the one-dimensional ordering may be 1 × m or n × 1. Where m represents the number of rows, which may be considered as the number of first video thumbnails, and n represents the number of columns, which may be considered as the number of first video thumbnails.
Compared with the prior art, the method and the device have the advantage that the two-dimensional sorting mode is adopted on the basis of loading the first composite thumbnail, so that the speed of loading the video thumbnail by the client can be increased.
Certainly, a one-dimensional sorting mode can be adopted, and compared with a two-dimensional sorting mode, the calculation amount is small, the calculation pressure of the client is further reduced, the calculation efficiency of the client is improved, and the video thumbnail loading rate of the client is improved.
Specifically, the picture composition rule further includes: the interval duration between two adjacent first video thumbnails is positively correlated with the total video duration of the video.
Specifically, when the server stores the video for the first time, the server generates a corresponding picture composition rule according to the total video duration of the video. And performing frame extraction processing on the video according to the picture composition rule, and performing zooming operation on the picture corresponding to the extracted video frame to obtain a video thumbnail subjected to zooming operation. Then, according to the picture composition rule, selecting a corresponding number of video thumbnails to compose a composite thumbnail. And finally, forming the plurality of combined thumbnails into an integral thumbnail, and storing the integral thumbnail and the plurality of combined thumbnails in a corresponding database.
Specifically, the related art employs a fixed interval duration, which results in an excessively large difference between the video thumbnails corresponding to the long video and the short video. For example, if a fixed interval duration is adopted, a video thumbnail corresponding to a 2-hour video is too large, so that the client is stressed too much; the video thumbnails corresponding to 5 minutes of video are too few, so that the user cannot accurately acquire the video preview information.
Based on the problems, the time of the interval is dynamically determined according to the total video time of the video, so that the pressure of the client is not too high due to too many video thumbnails under the condition of the long video, the working pressure of the client is effectively reduced, the condition of the short video is not too few due to the video thumbnails, the user cannot accurately acquire video preview information, and the precision of the video thumbnails is effectively improved.
For example, when the total video duration is less than or equal to 5 minutes, the video thumbnail is calculated according to the interval duration equal to 5 seconds; when the video is more than 5 minutes and less than 1.5 hours, calculating the video thumbnail according to the interval duration equal to 10 seconds; and when the video is more than or equal to 1.5 hours, calculating the video thumbnail according to the interval duration equal to 15 seconds.
Next, taking the total video duration of 4 minutes, the interval duration of 5 seconds, and the sorting mode of 20 × 1 as an example, the specific display of the picture composition rule is performed, specifically see fig. 2:
according to the total video duration and the interval duration, 48 video thumbnails can be obtained;
according to the sorting mode, 3 composite thumbnails can be obtained, wherein 1-20 form a first composite thumbnail, 21-40 form a second composite thumbnail, and 41-48 form a third composite thumbnail;
and combining the 3 combined thumbnails to form an integral thumbnail.
In addition, the picture composition rule may also be: the time interval between two adjacent video thumbnails, the arrangement mode of the video thumbnails and the number of the composite thumbnails.
According to the method provided by the embodiment of the application, a data request instruction sent by a client is obtained, and a first composite thumbnail is sent to the client according to the data request instruction, so that the client selects a first video thumbnail corresponding to a first video preview instruction from the first composite thumbnail to be overlapped with a video thumbnail display window. According to the method and the device, the mode of sending the composite thumbnail to the client is adopted, so that the process of loading the video thumbnail from the local hard disk to the memory is reduced for the client, the working pressure of the client can be reduced, and the user experience is improved.
A second embodiment of the present application provides a picture display method, which is applied to a client. The specific implementation of the method is shown in fig. 3:
step 301, a first video preview command is obtained.
Specifically, when watching a video, a user wants to watch video contents at other time points, where the other time points are relative to the current time point of video playing. For example, for a total of 2 hours for a video, the user is viewing video content at 1 hour and 5 minutes, at which time the user wants to view video content at 1 hour and 30 minutes. In this example, 1 hour and 5 minutes are the current time point, and 1 hour and 30 minutes are the other time points.
When the user acts for 1 hour and 30 minutes, a first video preview instruction is triggered, and the client acquires the first video preview instruction.
Specifically, before the client acquires the first video preview instruction, the client acquires video data sent by the server, where the video data includes: video files, a unique identifier for each video file, and video related data associated with each video, including: picture composition rule, whole thumbnail, synthetic thumbnail and video thumbnail etc. this whole thumbnail includes: a first composite thumbnail. Wherein, this whole thumbnail still includes: a second composite thumbnail.
Specifically, the overall thumbnail may further include: a third composite thumbnail, a fourth composite thumbnail, and so on.
In a specific embodiment, before a client acquires a first video preview instruction, an acquisition server sends an overall thumbnail and a picture composition rule; dividing the whole thumbnail according to a picture composition rule to obtain a first composite thumbnail; the first composite thumbnail is stored.
Specifically, the client obtains a second composite thumbnail, a third composite thumbnail, and the like when dividing the whole thumbnail according to the picture composition rule, and then stores the composite thumbnail obtained by dividing the whole thumbnail in the local disk.
Specifically, the picture composition rule includes: an arrangement of the first video thumbnails, the arrangement comprising: the method comprises the following steps: a one-dimensional sorting manner or a two-dimensional sorting manner.
Certainly, the method adopts a one-dimensional sorting mode, compared with a two-dimensional sorting mode, the calculation amount is small, the calculation pressure of the client is further reduced, the calculation efficiency of the client is improved, and the speed of loading the video thumbnails by the client is improved.
Specifically, the picture composition rule further includes: the interval duration between two adjacent first video thumbnails is positively correlated with the total video duration of the video.
After the client acquires the video data sent by the server, the client divides the overall thumbnail according to the picture composition rule to obtain a first composite thumbnail; the specific process of storing the first composite thumbnail is as follows:
in the following, the following description will be given by taking an example in which the total duration of the video is 4 minutes, the interval duration is 5 seconds, and the sorting mode is 20 × 1:
acquiring an integral thumbnail;
according to the total video duration and the interval duration, the whole thumbnail can be obtained to comprise 48 video thumbnails;
according to the sorting mode, 3 synthesized thumbnails in the whole thumbnail can be obtained;
adding unique identifiers to the 3 synthesized thumbnails respectively, for example, a first synthesized thumbnail corresponds to a first identifier, a second synthesized thumbnail corresponds to a second identifier, and a third synthesized thumbnail corresponds to a third identifier;
and downloading the 3 synthesized thumbnails from the server to a local hard disk storage.
In addition, when the picture composition rule is: when the interval duration between two adjacent video thumbnails, the arrangement mode of the video thumbnails, and the number of composite thumbnails are, for example, the following is described, where the interval duration is 5 seconds, the sequencing mode is 20 × 1, and the number of composite thumbnails is 3:
acquiring an integral thumbnail;
obtaining 3 synthesized thumbnails according to the interval duration, the sorting mode and the number of the synthesized thumbnails;
adding unique identifiers to the 3 synthesized thumbnails respectively, for example, a first synthesized thumbnail corresponds to a first identifier, a second synthesized thumbnail corresponds to a second identifier, and a third synthesized thumbnail corresponds to a third identifier;
and downloading the 3 synthesized thumbnails from the server to a local hard disk storage.
Step 302, a first composite thumbnail corresponding to the first video preview instruction is obtained.
Wherein the first composite thumbnail includes N first video thumbnails, N being an integer greater than 1.
Wherein the first video preview instruction includes a first timestamp.
And obtaining a unique identifier corresponding to the first timestamp according to the total video duration, the interval duration and the sequencing mode, and obtaining a first composite thumbnail corresponding to the first video preview instruction according to the unique identifier.
Specifically, the following description will be given by taking an example in which the total video duration is 4 minutes, the interval duration is 5 seconds, the sorting mode is 20 × 1, and the first timestamp of the first video preview instruction is 3 minutes:
according to the interval duration and the sorting mode, the time period corresponding to the first composite thumbnail is 0-100 seconds; the second composite thumbnail corresponds to a time period of 101 seconds to 200 seconds, and the third composite thumbnail corresponds to a time period of 201 seconds to 240 seconds. Thus, the unique identifier corresponding to the 3 minutes may be obtained as the second identifier, which corresponds to the second composite thumbnail.
And 303, selecting a first video thumbnail corresponding to the first video preview instruction from the first composite thumbnail to display.
Specifically, after the first composite thumbnail is loaded, setting the first composite thumbnail to be invisible, then selecting a first video thumbnail corresponding to the first video preview instruction from the first composite thumbnail, setting the first video thumbnail to be visible, and adjusting the first video thumbnail to be overlapped with the video thumbnail display window so as to display the first video thumbnail.
In a specific embodiment, according to the picture composition rule and the first time stamp, determining the position information of the first video thumbnail in the first composite thumbnail and the size information of the first video thumbnail; and determining a first video thumbnail corresponding to the first video preview instruction according to the position information and the size information, and displaying.
Specifically, the description will be given taking the example that the picture composition rule is the interval duration between two adjacent video thumbnails, the arrangement of the video thumbnails, and the number of composite thumbnails. For example, the interval duration between two adjacent video thumbnails is 5 seconds, the arrangement mode of the video thumbnails is 20 × 1, and the number of composite thumbnails is 3:
according to the picture composition rule, the time period corresponding to the first synthesized thumbnail can be obtained to be 0-100 seconds; the second composite thumbnail corresponds to a time period of 101 seconds to 200 seconds, and the third composite thumbnail corresponds to a time period of 201 seconds to 300 seconds. The resulting first timestamp is 55 seconds at which time the first video thumbnail may be determined to be in the first composite thumbnail. Further, by dividing 55 by 20 by 1 and rounding the result to 4, the fourth position of the first video thumbnail on the first composite thumbnail can be reached, and the size indicated by coordinates as (0, 4) corresponds to the size information of the first video thumbnail. Rendering the first video thumbnail at the fourth position and overlapping the video thumbnail display window to display the first video thumbnail.
In a particular embodiment, the first composite thumbnail further includes: the first time stamp of the first video thumbnail is adjacent to the left of the second time stamp of the second video thumbnail, and the first time stamp of the first video thumbnail is adjacent to the right of the third time stamp of the third video thumbnail; the application also includes: displaying the second video thumbnail and/or the third video thumbnail.
Specifically, according to the method and the device, on the basis of displaying the first video thumbnail, the second video thumbnail can be displayed at the same time, so that the first video thumbnail of the first timestamp corresponding to the current selection progress can be viewed for the user, the second video thumbnail corresponding to the second timestamp can be viewed for the user, whether the video content at the selection progress is viewed or not is determined for the user, and an effective reference basis is provided.
Specifically, according to the method and the device, on the basis of displaying the first video thumbnail, the third video thumbnail can be displayed simultaneously, so that the first video thumbnail of the first timestamp corresponding to the current selection progress can be checked for the user, the third video thumbnail corresponding to the third timestamp can be checked for the user, whether the video content at the selection progress is watched or not is determined for the user, and an effective reference basis is provided.
Specifically, on the basis of displaying the first video thumbnail, the second video thumbnail and the third video thumbnail can be displayed simultaneously, so that the first video thumbnail of the first time stamp corresponding to the current selection progress can be viewed for the user, the third video thumbnail corresponding to the third time stamp and the second video thumbnail corresponding to the second time stamp can be viewed by the user, whether the video content at the selection progress is viewed or not is determined for the user, and an effective reference basis is provided.
In a specific embodiment, a specific implementation of selecting a first video thumbnail corresponding to a first video preview instruction for display includes: selecting a first video thumbnail corresponding to the first video preview instruction; adding a display identifier for the first video thumbnail according to the position information of the first video thumbnail; and displaying the first video thumbnail added with the display identifier.
Specifically, when only the first video thumbnail is displayed, a display identifier does not need to be added to the first video thumbnail; when the first video thumbnail and the second video thumbnail are displayed, adding a display identifier for the first video thumbnail to determine that the video thumbnail added with the display identifier is the first video thumbnail corresponding to the first video preview instruction; when the first video thumbnail and the third video thumbnail are displayed, adding a display identifier for the first video thumbnail to determine that the video thumbnail added with the display identifier is the first video thumbnail corresponding to the first video preview instruction; when the first video thumbnail, the second video thumbnail and the third video thumbnail are displayed, adding a display identifier for the first video thumbnail to determine that the video thumbnail added with the display identifier is the first video thumbnail corresponding to the first video preview instruction.
The display identification can be added around the first video thumbnail to avoid the influence on the impression of a user due to the fact that the display identification is added in the middle, and the display identification can be any symbol, character or graph and the like and can be distinguished from other video thumbnails displayed simultaneously.
In one embodiment, the user may trigger a plurality of video preview commands in a short time, and the client receives a plurality of video preview commands in a short time. The video thumbnail display operation after the client acquires the first video preview instruction and selects the first video thumbnail corresponding to the first video preview instruction for display is as shown in fig. 4:
step 401, a second video preview instruction is obtained.
In particular, the second video preview instruction includes a second timestamp.
Step 402, judging whether a fourth video thumbnail corresponding to the second video preview instruction belongs to the first composite thumbnail, if so, executing step 403, otherwise, executing step 404.
