Description

PET (polyethylene terephthalate) primer for water-based UV (ultraviolet) coating as well as preparation method and application of PET primer
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of films, in particular to a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) primer for a water-based UV (ultraviolet) coating, and a preparation method and application thereof.
Background
The BOPET film is a film material with excellent performance, and the excellent mechanical performance of the BOPET film enables the BOPET film to have wide application in the fields of packaging, electronics and the like. In practical use, the coating is often further coated and processed to meet the requirements of specific application scenes on the performance and appearance of the coating.
The BOPET surface is coated with various functional coatings in a wide range of applications, but the coatings coated in the prior art are mostly solvent-based coating materials, with the national requirement on environmental protection, the VOC control is more and more strict, and the VOC emission is reduced in the fields of coatings, printing ink and the like. The water-based UV coating is a good environment-friendly choice, but different from the oil-based UV coating, the water-based UV coating has higher surface tension and poorer wetting capability, the existing synthesis technology of water-based UV resin is not mature, and the problems of large curing shrinkage stress and unstable adhesive force of the water-based UV coating generally exist. The primer can improve the adhesive strength between the film and the UV coating by coating, and is widely applied, but the primer is generally suitable for oil-based UV coatings, and the primer which can be directly matched with a water-based UV coating has fewer related reports, and the development of the product is still very challenging.
Disclosure of Invention
Based on the technical problems in the background art, the invention provides the PET primer for the water-based UV coating, and the preparation method and the application thereof.
The invention provides a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) primer for a water-based UV (ultraviolet) coating, which comprises the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 20-25% of water-based resin, 1-5% of film-forming additive, 0.01-3% of other additives and 67-78.99% of deionized water; wherein the tg point of the aqueous resin is 20-80 ℃.
In the present invention, the tg point of the aqueous resin is defined to be 20 to 80 ℃. In most cases, the film is difficult to form due to the high tg point, a film-forming aid with a higher proportion needs to be added, the film-forming aid is mostly an organic solvent, the VOC content is increased, and the tg point of the base coat is too high, which indicates that the hardness of the base coat is higher, while the surface coat is a water-based UV coating, the corrosion resistance is weak, and the problem of poor interlayer adhesion is easy to occur due to the matching of the surface coat and the hard base coat. When the tg point is too low, the paint film is soft and difficult to roll.
Preferably, the primer coating has a surface dyne value of greater than 50.
Preferably, the aqueous resin comprises at least one of an aqueous polyester resin and an aqueous polyurethane resin; preferably, the aqueous resin further includes an aqueous acrylic resin.
Preferably, the aqueous polyester resin comprises one or more of ST5870, MD1245, Z-760 and KG-0420, the aqueous polyurethane resin comprises one or more of ACO-25 and AP-301, and the aqueous acrylic resin comprises one or more of W-5030 and W-6061.
Preferably, the film forming auxiliary agent is one or more of ethylene glycol butyl ether, diethylene glycol ethyl ether, diethylene glycol butyl ether, dipropylene glycol methyl ether, diethylene glycol butyl ether and alcohol ester-12.
Preferably, the other auxiliary agent is at least one of a silicone surfactant, an acetylene glycol surfactant, and a metal oxide dispersion.
The invention also provides a preparation method of the PET primer for the water-based UV coating, which comprises the following steps:
s1, adding a proper amount of deionized water into the water-based resin, and uniformly stirring to obtain water-based resin slurry;
s2, adding the rest deionized water into the film-forming aid, and uniformly stirring to obtain film-forming aid slurry;
and S3, adding the film-forming aid sizing material and other aids into the aqueous resin slurry under the stirring state, stirring and filtering to obtain the PET primer for the aqueous UV coating.
Preferably, the temperature is controlled at 15-30 ℃ throughout the conditioning process.
The invention also provides the application of the PET primer for the water-based UV coating, which is to add the cross-linking agent into the PET primer for the water-based UV coating, mix, coat the mixture on a PET film, directly coat the water-based UV coating on the surface of the PET film after drying, and obtain the water-based UV coating after preheating and ultraviolet curing treatment.
Preferably, the cross-linking agent is one or more of waterborne amino resin, carbodiimide, aziridine, epoxy organosiloxane and blocked isocyanate cross-linking agent; preferably, drying is carried out at 120-140 ℃ for 1-5 min.
Different from the primer matched with the solvent-based UV coating, when the primer matched with the water-based UV coating is designed, the interlayer adhesion between the primer and the surface water-based UV must be considered besides the adhesion between the primer and the PET. Although the solvent type has the problems, the solvent type UV resin has more stable adhesive force, and can be matched with a proper diluent to increase the biting ability of the top coating to the primary coating and improve the adhesive force. However, the aqueous system has low solvent content, weak biting ability and large resin curing shrinkage, which increases the difficulty of interlayer adhesion, so that a more reasonable formula is required to be designed, and the interlayer adhesion between the primer and the aqueous UV coating is optimized while the adhesion of the primer to the base film is considered.
The formula is reasonably designed, the obtained primer is water-based, safe and environment-friendly, and the film coated with the primer coating can be well matched with a water-based UV coating for use, has good adhesive strength and meets the market demand.
